Was here for a birthday celebration, the birthday cake prepared by the restaurant was absolutely delicious! Other dishes were good too, impeccably prepared & decorated. A bit of waiting required but I guess thats expected as the dishes were prepared fresh, including the bread. Love the ambiance and deco too. Service was good but can be improved to appear more professional. When the dish was served, the waitress had to explain what it was as well as the ingredients. It felt forceful and did not appear natural, more like she was forced to memorize the whole list 😅 Anyway, we had a great time and hope to be back again.

Great taste of French food, romantic ambience, selection of good wines and drinks. It caters too to guest with certain food allergies. Ground level for dining area, upstairs are private dining room and unique pretty bar. Set dinner with choices of main course w/ different price and additional dish like potato or foie gras. Reservation is required. Very helpful staff, friendly, efficient and informative about the menu. Very recommended! One of the best fine dining in Penang.

Romantic ambience. Excellent service. Food is delish. French cuisine with hints of inspiration from the Japanese. Seemless amalgamation of the two cuisines, none overpowering. What you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. We had the 7 course dinner and a glass of wine serving is from a new tiny versioned of the bottle of your choice (limited selection of small versions though). So you'd know that the poured wine is not from an old previously opened bottle. Love the thought!

In case one would call this fine dining, I believe that more would be needed than reducing the portions. It simply doesn't have the experience of fine dining. There's no drinks card, you may choose a bottle red wine or white wine or mineral water. The a-la carte menu isn't complete, and some side dishes would make it more fulfilling. I don't see the need to give a high rating to justify the amount you spend at a place. Among us we had duck, lobster and angus beef and cannot say that the food is not good, but the experience was far below par. It did not give the experience that makes you going back to the place. There are much better places in town for similar food, with a wider and balanced choice in food and drinks, good service, presentation and experience.

Came here to try the fine dining experience, services are slow and my booking didn’t got recorded but they are flexible with the issue so we eventually got a table. Food was nice and the waiters are trying very hard to provide quality service! They got small bottle of wine(200mL) which is just enough for light drinkers

Fabulous culinary experience in George Town. The menu is extensive and can accommodate all palates. We asked for a tasting menu of 7 dishes and the team handpicked items from the menu for us based on our preferences (meat, seafood, poultry, fish). The dishes are twists on the local Penang and Malay cuisine so it’s perfect if you want to explore local food culture in addition to street food stalls. Everything was delicious and on par with the Michelin star restaurants in Singapore! Will visit again when their menu changes!

This is an outstanding experience! It is one of the best restaurants I ever had the pleasure to eat at. The first time, I came for a late lunch and had the set menu -- a dream from the amuse bouche (duck tongue), an incredible starter (green lipped mussels) and a fantastic main course (chicken mousseline), followed by a lovely desert (hazelnut). The second time, I came for dinner. I chose the ginger soy cod fish as a main dish and let the owner and chef recommend the starters (oyster, followed by the scallop) and the passion fruit desert. I don't have the words to describe all the multilayered flavours and textures -- everything is amazing! I will come back and taste as many dishes as possible. Thank you so much!

This was a wonderful dining experience! My partner and I ordered a 9-course and 7-course respectively, and Chef Fung gave us almost completely different courses so we could experience more flavours. Omakase style molecular gastronomical food, incorporating flavours unique to Penang. Some examples: betel-fragranced (otah) hamachi sashimi, nutmeg flavoured duck tongue, fresh oysters with elements of nasi lemak, cempedak flavoured dessert! My personal favourite was the duck noodles. This meal was nothing short of an adventure, and the menu changes every 3 months. Thanks Chef Fung, appreciate the creativity and conscientiousness that you put in your food. Hope to return one day!

Decorations and service (well there were only 3 tables that night) is flavorful. Set menu price commensurate w the food but they could at least have an option of a la carte too.

Visited this place on the 9th of October, extremely cosy and comfortable. The waitresses are very helpful. Even if you don't know what you're eating, they will explain what is in before serving the dish. Its a fine dining restaurant which serves you enough food!! Time yourself properly as it takes around 1.5 hours for you to complete the whole course. Their appetisers and dessert are just mouth watering and filling. The pork belly was a little small but the taste is just heavenly, the chicken breast was very tender and moist as well. We paid extra for the cake and it was the best 25 bucks spent for a cake. Overall I would rate this 10/10 for the service, experience and the food.
