👍👍 For the 1st time, I tried Potlam Briyani (with Lamb, Prawn) It was special flavor, all the meat and rice was wrappeed around by Naan. So, you can taste not only rice but naan. That's the point of potlam briyani. The Naan was also good. It's chewy and mixed with briyani sauce. Absolutely tases better... People often mention briyani, good, Briyani, taste, Curry, ordered, chicken, time, rice, restaurant,

For the 1st time, I tried Potlam Briyani (with Lamb, Prawn) It was special flavor, all the meat and rice was wrappeed around by Naan. So, you can taste not only rice but naan. That's the point of potlam briyani. The Naan was also good. It's chewy and mixed with briyani sauce. Absolutely tases better. If you tried Tandoori Briyani, then next is Potlam Briyani. By the way, the menu photo is not correct. I thought Potlam briyani is looking like pasta. But, the photo was wrong. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First of all, Curry & Co is moved to near Little India. Yesterday, after their moving, I've visitied for the first time. 1. The Food was same but much better care and quality. I ordered Tandoori Briyani as usual and Tea Masala. It was as same as before but I could choose Mutton and Prawn inside. But, the price was the same. 20RM. Before it was only chicken and prawn and the prawn was only 2, but now I saw at least 3 prawn. And the taste was better than before. 2. The kindess and Service This was the biggest problem with this restaurant before. But, this time, I think the owner was changed, and new workers were the owner's parents. They were old and very kind. Curry & Co is now very comfortable place. 3. The interior and atmosphere This is a little bit needs to be developed as time goes by. The interior is not that trendy and shiny. But, I am sure this will be changed as the new owner took over this restaurants. Below was written when Curry & Co was located in Nagore Square. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Worst customer service but tandoori briyani is good. -> but it changed new Waiter and waitress who are always smiling. Incense is too thick that I couldn't breathe. -> Not anymore! There are 2 waiters. All of them are not paying any attention to customer. No eye contacts, Not metioning of thanks, no good bye! -> Not anymore! But, sadly Curry &co. Will move to new places. Which will be church Street? As I remember. On September. I hope to visit again.

First time trying food at this place , it’s located at the junction of church street and situated in a old building . You can easily spot it because they have a banner for Briyani outside of this shop itself . I really liked the ambience of the place , old fashion setting with long benches and well lighted with aircond too ✨ I ordered their lamb pottalam Briyani as the main course and drinks I went for bru coffee and masala tea . The Briyani was hot and wrapped well in naan . Also lamb is actually lamb shark which was huge and enough for the whole Briyani and naan too . For RM25.90 for the Briyani , I’ll really say it was worth it because the portion was huge and flavourful ✅ The bru coffee was strong and nice and the cup wasn’t so small like in other shops nearby so was good . I really liked their masala tea could feel a lot of spices in it and paired so well with Briyani . The total lunch cost me RM34.30 and for it was nice for the food , chilled place and also nostalgic Tamil songs . 👍🏻 The only minus point is that they are lacking in staff so rather than sitting and waiting . It would be better if you walk straight to the counter and order and they will serve the food . Otherwise everything was alright ☺️

Where to begin…be prepared to endure the heat…probably visit during a rainy day or at night….the food if I’m being honest is very mediocre…we had the pottalam chicken briyani, Tandoor tea , lemon lime and lychee lime….besides the way the food was presented and the Tamil songs in the background nothing else stood out about this restaurant….wld not revisit in a million yrs

I ordered Prawn and Chicken from the Bamboo Biryani series. Prawn Biryani tastes good and spicy while the chicken is well cooked. There are many types of food as mentioned in the menu list. Comfortable environment with slow music. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

I was a bit sceptical to go to this place at first because of the mixed reviews, yet I decided to try by my own. Ordered pottlam prawn briyani and Tandoor Chai. The briyani was not bad. The only issue I had was they didn’t deshelled and deveined the Prawns. The chai was good. Nice ambience with Tamil songs.

We were waiting for the restaurant to open. Bamboo rice just enough for one person. We also ordered vegetarian set & a combo set. Its a bar sitting concept . Only one table on a normal sitting. Check it out.

It was not exactly what they show in social media. The tandoori briyani wasn't hot at all. They pretend like they serve hot. But its not actually. Taste not bad. Tandoori tea was good. Environment was so hot. Closed space with no enough air.

I recently dined at Curry and Co little india Penang, and I have to say, the food was terrible. I ordered the chicken briyani, and it was spicy, and tasteless. My friends ordered paratha and capati with chicken. It was dry and the capati and paratha taste same and it was very gummy and hard to eat. The chicken is not taste at all. To make matters worse, the service was slow as well. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I will never be dining there again."

Very slow service. Took order of our meal and then came back after 15 mins for say it's sold out. Took another 45 minutes to serve our so called Pottalam Briyani which is not at all how it should be prepared. Butter milk without any onion, curry leave etc. Not worth the experience and overly priced food.

The chicken briyani was good and affordable. Loved the ambience of the place. Good customer service as well.

The price is ridiculous, the portion is so small !? The food doesn't taste good. The environment wasn't even comfortable. Had an air conditioner but it was not used but instead they left the shutter opened. Total disappointment. Not recommended!? 🤮🤬👎

Four of us ordered 1 prawn pottalam (bundles) and 2 sets of rice plus dishes meant for 2 pax. Rice , gravy and dishes were cold. Taste wise it was good but the coldness was off putting. When asked for hot gravy at least. The waiter said he would heat up some gravy. He then heated up a serving of chicken with little gravy. Even the rasam was served cold. Not going back there.

We went in and ordered our food around 1300 hrs and our drinks also haven't been served. It was not a busy day with just 3 tables occupied. We had to request for the drinks (watermelon juice) to be served first. Which arrived at 1345 hrs. Food was average Indian food taste with a nice presentation. Some dishes are spicy but it's normal for Indian foods

Never thought a bar and banana leaf rice meals were a match but I stand corrected after trying out Curry & Co. My mutton briyani arrived to the table in a bamboo shoot (in which the rice and meat was steamed) and served on the plate by the waiter. The taste was not as good as the theater and it wasn't as hearty in terms of the portion size as what we are used to with briyani.

Average tasting food, price a bit higher than what I would normally pay. Ambiance is ok, more like a sports bar than an Indian food restaurant. Bamboo briyani is just OK. Nothing too special.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
