People are too into viral nasi kandar till they did not notice this restaurant. I like the nasi kandar here. Suit my tastebud. Service wise not so friendly.

The nasi kandar is very delicious with reasonable price. I tried fried chicken with long beans vegetable with mixed curry. The fried chicken is spicy and not too salty. Very good low sodium food. The restaurant itself is comfortable, not too crowded and you dont need to que for a long time. It is walking distance between 1st avenue and Saint Gilles /Cititel Hotel. Would definitely come here again in the future.

If other famous places are crazy busy this is my go to place... favourite dish is the small prawn curry, its getting rare now

Sept 2023- this place serve best nasi kandar. Way better than the famous hype like pelita. Their curry is thick n good not too spicy like could hurt your tummy. It was spicy enough to sweat but it wont stay on your tongue for a long time. Just go there and get your nasi, ayam goreng or any ayam, and KUAH CAMPUR. Heaven. Of course it is also very affordable, again, not like the 'viral' or hype famous nasi kandar. This one is worth to try for. Drinks are just regular ones. Hygiene can be improved and seats are plenty available. Good location and easy to get there. Will definitely recommend 👍

Located a quick walk from 1st Avenue Mall. Love eating here. Black pepper chicken is my favourite and the veges are very tasty. Variety of delicious spicy curries served everyday. Service is quick and staff are friendly. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden gem. Almost no crowd and affordable prices. I find most other places are just overhyped and overated. Can come here if you feel like eating delicious Nasi Kandar and not queue. Have to come early else the popular dishes sold out.

Good nasi kandar to savour outside komtar building. Delicious lauk choices available here. Mixed gravy has good combination and balanced flavour. Fried chicken is excellent. The place was clean and not as crowded during the few times we came. Price not as pricey as few other nasi kandar in nearby area. And you don't have to get in a long queue to eat here. Came here the first time when Kassim nasi kandar was at their previous location across the road from GAMA.

Nasi Kandar at town opposite Komtar, Jen hotel. I had lunch 1 slide fish meat n egg onion n white rice rm6.50 OK cheap n fresh. I shall try the chicken curry on nx visit.

During my lunch we not found the nasi kandar or nasi briyani were is the special one.. just nasi putih were taste like the malay food only, not mamak style.. hopefully next time will able to try the nasi briyani or kandar

Food: very good nasi kandar . The curry taste good. A lot of curry gravy with squid egg. Yummy! Price : affordable ( Rm9 for rice, chicken, egg, 2 type vegetables) Service: fast and very good nasi kandar serving Environment : no car park as it beside main road.

Stayed at Wembley hotel and was looking for a simple breakfast. Chanced upon this unassuming nasi kandar place. Had nasi kandar and roti canai. Everything was very delicious. Roti canai was fluffy and crispy. Nasi kandar was very tasty - took fried chicken and curry prawns. Please try it! Food prices very cheap too.

The food is really delicious. The curry, and the chicken is soft. All like wow. I went to many Nasi Kandar. All like overhyped by giving review. But this Nasi Kandar is hidden gem. Damn the food. And the teh tarik. Like seriously after soo long I am having a good taste of the teh tarik since move to Penang. The price are reasonable. Two person just RM 20. And other Nasi Kandar I think I would been more than RM 20. Whoever come to Penang. Must try out this Nasi Kandar. Really taste good.

This is the most underrated Nasi Kandar in Penang. You have heard of all the BIG and FAMOUS nasi kandar restaurants but the long queue and the taste is disappointing . This time I wanted to try the non viral , non overhyped nasi kandar and I found Kassim Nasi Kandar on google . Saw good reviews and decided to go for a really late lunch. I was too hungry to take a picture . But I got rice with curry campur and ayam goreng. The chicken was still hot and crispy . Curry was perfect ! This will be my go to nasi kandar place ! I love it ! I wanted to have second plate ( too greedy) but I had to control my appetite 🤣🤣🤣 I will be back ! AWESOME FOOD ! Truly delicious! 10/10

Food is good. Not too pricey but a lot depends on what one decides to have. A simple meal of Curry gravy on rice with fried chicken and okra excluding drinks will cost roughly RM5.50.

Not as good as 20 years ago, food and price is ok
