would come back! tasty (tho not top quality) but pretty value for money! good - mushroom steak was cooked well, spaghetti with chilli & prawn was very flavourful. mushroom soup was elevated than the usual Campbell's! lamb chop was slightly tough tho had good flavours, chicken with spinach cream was juicy but the cream leaned towards the sweet side rather than savoury. service was good, friendly and relatively quick :)

a nice cozy place to chill for lunch or dinner. The food is good and the place is clean. It is usually quite busy so expect to wait around 10 minutes minimum for your orders. The interior deco is simplistic but nice. Really enjoyed coming! ♪ヽ(･ˇ∀ˇ･ゞ)

The best cafe in Penang for me, I would come here every day just to try their variety of dishes. The coffee jelly dessert was really good. The chicken was juicy, the sauces and mashed potatoes were excellent. Their mushroom soup was the best tasting mushroom soup I had in my life.

Went to have dinner, nice ambience. Great service by the waiter which help us by explaining the dishes on the menu. Main course is available to upgrade to set menu which consist of soup, drinks and dessert

Food quality and ambiance are average. Nothing to shout about. Staff are attending. Price is on the average as well. Two main dishes and one tomato juice cost 66. Tomato juice is a let down. Didn’t finish it. 90% water and 10% tomato.

One of the best Western Cuisine in Penang. Nice and delicious food served. It will be more better if more sauce but it depend on person. The food served a bit longer than expected but good food worth for wait. Price is affordable and acceptable. The only issue is the parking issue. Hard to find parking at that area.

I was on my way to GMC and decided to have a quick bite at this restaurant. We ordered a spaghetti Bolognese, spaghetti carbonara, chicken mushroom and mushroom soup as the starter. Overall a good dining experience. Food were served quite fast and in a very presentable dorm. Except that spaghetti carbonara taste a bit too milky, we were satisfied with their food quality. Price is reasonable too. However, one negative aspect about this restaurant is the dull decoration, and the aged furniture.

Good food with short waiting time. Clean environment and is suitable for family gathering. Portion consider small but you can’t complain more for this price range.

When you visit Penang as a vacation town it's not the best choice to eat here. But if you live here for more then 2-3 weeks. Well, you are starting to look for something worth normal money. Not 2-5x of your daily budget. This is exactly the place. Price/quality settings are perfect.

Veggitarian bruschetta was little disappointed. Bread should be more crunch and too much raw onion was too spicy and I don't taste any tomatoes.. Mushroom spaghetti was ok. Grilled chicken with mint sauce was very good. Especially fried potato ball was tasty. All the staffs were working hard and fast service. I will go back for sure.

Good, reasonably priced food and pork free. Popular and usually full house, so please book ahead to avoid waiting for tables if walk-in. Serving time is still within expectations. Wide range of food available and top up RM8.50 for set meal of drink, soup of the day and dessert (please see menu). Chimichurri sauce that came with the lamb chop was great. Dessert was ice cream with mango sauce. Sister establishment Harvest Times is down the road. Good meet up place for friends and family

Very famous for western food, spaghetti and chicken chop is very nice, the muchroom soup also very nice, like the white coffee as well. Prices are reasonable and service is good. Highly recommend.

Very nice place for dining in a group. Nice atmosphere and very clean interior. Affordable prices for an indoor restaurant with a wide variety of food. The food itself is average and the desserts are mainly ice cream and jelly. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Coming here ever since 2016. Not sure it is the increasing popularity or the way of handling customers is bad. Went last week and felt everything was in rush. Made booking but was told that we must finish in an hour. I observed the table beside me, I could tell they felt pretty pressured too. Staffs were literally rushing to take orders and set up tables. They may be perceived as unfriendly , not very attentive, poor attitude and rude too. It’s also not a good experience if you’d like to take your time and enjoy the food as well. However, the food is good and affordable. Maybe try not coming on the weekends. Must have reservations. Otherwise you’ll be standing , waiting outside with a bunch of people. The restaurant is also small and you might be cramped up w other tables. I feel like I had a much better dining experience in Harvest times Cafe. It’s more spacious and staffs were more welcoming and friendly. The area has limited parking space. It’ll be a challenge to find parking nearby.

The last time we were there was during end of pandemic and there wasn't a lot of people. But now you hardly get seat without booking. Minimum wait of 10 to 15 mins. The food too went from great to so so now, except the main course which is still the reason wjy we were back. And its best if you take the add on, which give you a drink or cup of coffee and dessert.

Great place to eat if you really want quality chef prepared western food. Definitely not fast food but a sense of fine dining with shorts and sandals. The staff excellent and service I couldn't fault. Definitely recommend and definitely will return.

Grilled fish with spicy pepper sauce so delicious. Rice was well cooked, snapper fish was wonderful grilled but the sauce was heavenly good. It was the sauce that made the magic. WOW. 5 stars. Mushroom soup and drinks all just average. 3 stars. Total bill RM41.50. Not cheap but value for money. Parking is convenient as there is a public parking within 2 minutes walking distance. But if u want roadside parking, it will be difficult

In my honest opinion, the food is delicious and well priced. The ambience is good, and I sat placed by the window which had amazing view of the street! The waiters there were very welcoming and friendly as well!

Seldom cafe opens from lunch till night and still it closes at 10pm. We walked in at around 9pm something and customers were still coming in. The price of food is cheap but do not expect something luxurious here. It is just meant to be a inexpensive gourmet experience. Three of us order a set meal each, the bill is 80+. Totally recommended for those who want to enjoy a delicious food at a cheap price rate. The waiting time is short too and thus you do not have to wait long for enjoying your meal.

RM 15.50 - fish with spicy creamy pepper sauce RM 14.00 - cajun chicken with turmeric sauce RM 4.50 - iced white coffee (yummy) Fish - a tad bit overcooked, can feel little dryness in the meat. Sauce was spicy but delicious if you can handle the heat. Chicken - also a bit dry but at least it is cooked through which is good. Maybe marinating the chicken in more salt would help keep it moist during the cooking process. Sauce was... bland tasting... would help if more salt is added... all I taste is plain yellow coloured cream... Salad for both dishes was nice :) fresh greens with yummy sauce! Plating wise: a bit inconsistent... chicken plate had more cherry tomatoes while fish plate had more lettuces. No extra service tax here :)

I've always complained about the bland taste on chicken dishes but my family liked it, so I'm not sure if it's just me. I liked the lamb loin with red wine sauce but the portion varied every time I visit. Lamb and steaks are not cooked to perfection, a little overcook happens most often than not but still overall acceptable. Foods are very fairly priced. Mediocre environment and staff. A place I would come back for but not a place to enthusiast about.

Nice food and good service. The staff is friendly and helpful. Although there is full house, but they still manage to find seats for us😆 Really recommend the Honey Oat Chicken👍🏻it’s worth trying and delicious 😍 We sat outside the cafe and it’s very cozy. Nice place 👍🏻 Will come again !
