The seafood place opens at 12pm but from 7am to 10am they open up a stall selling nyonya style nasi lemak, toast and eggs and hainanese coffee. The nasi lemak is fragrant, sambal unique but sweet and lacking a good kick, fish and chicken are nice. The assam prawn looks good too. For toast and soft boiled egg, I felt the toast is very normal while my soft boiled was slightly overdone. Coffee is strong and nice. Overall cost ~ RM7.50 for nasi lemak, RM3.60 for toast and egg set and RM1.30 for coffee. Fair price I guess and parking is convenient

Stumbled upon this place while on our way back from Telok Bahang. Surprisingly, the dishes were quite good. Pricing was reasonable, and the owner was very friendly. Service was fast too, despite us ordering quite a number of dishes. Overall the food was enjoyable to eat, and portioning was just nice.

Good service, food was fast and very tasty. The balacan Kang kong was too salty but other than that, everything was pretty good. Fried chicken was crispy and juicy. Prawns were large enough and fresh. Price is reasonable.

Nasi lemak in the morning, seafood in the evening. Pretty standard stuff. The nasi lemak is fair - fried chicken is pretty cash, the sambal and santan rice are ok. Service is nonexistent, and if you come at mildly busy times you have to line up to place your order. Limited drinks and menu items, but pricing is acceptable. Seating and parking area ample but it's a bit dark in most spots. Hygiene is questionable, but overall it seems like a fairly popular nasi lemak joint.

Excellent food and selection of seafood and vegetarian dishes. Staff was very friendly and willing but poorly trained. For instance, I had to leave the table and order a beer, which they then brought to the table without a glass which required a second trip to the bar to obtain. The staff is very good once they know what you want but not very good at anticipating your needs. It is an open air restaurant with reasonable prices.

Affordable and delicious Hainanese seafood in Penang. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and made many recommendations. We paid under RM$250 for 7 persons, including the added order of sambal kangkong, spring roll, pork ribs and beverages. We also had steamed threadfin with soy, ginger and salted vegetable, Kam Heang clams, black pepper mantis prawns, bitter gourd omelette, bean sprouts with salted fish, and deep fried chicken. The nutmeg juice was full flavored. It was great to get away from the usual bustling food scene of George Town to the quieter seaside area of Tanjung Bunga.

The breakfast here is excellent. Toast is fluffy. Half boiled eggs are great and the coffee is excellent as well. The area is pleasant, with trees in the middle making it very cool on hotter days. Highly recommended.

Cozy place. Nice nasi lemak..their sambal has serai taste..Penang style but not spicy. You can select prawns at rm4.50. Drumsticks at rm4.00. Small asam fish at rm1.50. There's boiled bendi, half egg, timun..and they also serve toasts, eggs n hainan kopi.

Very fresh Groupa, no fishy smell even at fish head. The chef know how to bring the best out of the fish.

Normal typical nasi lemak. Y?? Not much gravy to go with the food. Limited choices on selection. Location is good

👍 A friend highly recommended me to visit this restaurant when I travel to Penang. No regrets making my way there as the food is amazing and the pricing is also very reasonable. Don’t mind to visit this place again real soon.

😠 I reached at around 2:30pm and still need to queue till 3:00 pm. Disappointed with the food because the deep fried fish roe and fish are hard rather than crispy. The gravy is also so so only.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
