Definitely our favourite sushi restaurant in Penang. Products are fresh, food is tasty and prices are not high. There is always a lot of people here, but the stuff is doing well. Also nice atmosphere.

Fried soft shell crab is very oily, in hokkien we say chao yiu ai (臭油味). One star missing is because, not a single alcohol is selling. That's my personal preference.

This is my third time eating sushi ya here. The environment was good and the food was superb and maintain the quality. My favourite of this place which is gunkan ikura which normally hard to find in penang. Best place to dine in with family and friend. Really recommend tho. The special menu that not in menu is the salmon bones which is only sometimes happen in weekend. Thats was walla.
