I wasn't too hungry when I patronized Blue Bellvine. Nevertheless, this place is atas a bit but at a reasonable price considering the quality of food. What's on the table- Signature Lok Bak, curry chicken with mantao, Grouper Fish otak with biscuit, blue Bellvine rice and organic tea. Start with Lok Bak, juicy n not dry. Can really appreciate just the right amount of seasoning. Curry Chicken is well balanced on spice and saltines. Fish otak is sipek nice and everyone should try with biscuit as recommended by the lady boss. How the organic tea were served is a bit unique, you need to turn the wheel in order for the tea to dispense. Hot water were top up regularly. Overall good experience.

4 of us dined here for lunch today. We found the food and service outstanding. We felt the portions were just right as they were very flavoursome and would have been overpowering if you had too much. The daughter of the ladyboss was absolutely charming and helped us to choose a balanced feast. Also of note was the fastidious cleanliness of the dining room, bathroom and kitchen.

Had a nice nyonya style dinner at a new place. This is one if the highly recommended newly restaurant ! The food is nice with nice setting too. We had our set dinner including sambal heh bi, pie tee, chicken satay, stingray asam, tu kar chor, acar, butterfly blue pea rice, otak-otak and end with desserts of pulut inti and ee (glutinous rice ball). Such a nice and delicious dinner. Must try when in Penang. Blue Bellvine Nyonya Cuisine No.27 Noordin Road, Georgetown, Penang. (Walking distance from Hotel Jen Penang)

Another good renovated modern restaurant giving a new soul to the old heritage shoplot building. The foods are delicious, but a bit pricey, not too crowded, food portion not big, fine dining of Nyonya foods.

Nice and worth of price! It's good for me to explore in this leisure environment 😊

The two star is for the ambience and decor. Food is mediocre and service also so so. Not to mention the price is on the higher tier. Really nothing to shout for. You can easily get better food and portion in any other Nyonya restaurant.

Went for lunch with 3 friends, decor and ambience is wonderful but the the food taste is mediocre and worst of all the portion size was very small considering the price. The bill was RM180 for 4 people and left hungry looking for somewhere else to eat. Not on my list of places to return to

If you're looking for an authentic taste of Nyonya cuisine, look no further then Blue Bellvine. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to the streets of Penang with the restaurant's charming decor and welcoming atmosphere. But it's the food that really steals the show. The menu is filled with classic Nyonya dishes, all prepared with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor. The grouper otak-otak with crackers, signature loh bak, is a must-try starter. And the mains are just as impressive. The Ikan Gulai Asam , is a standout dish that is both hearty and flavorful. But what really sets this restaurant apart is the attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of each dish. The colors and textures of each plate are carefully thought out, making every meal a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. The service is also top-notch, with knowledgeable staff who are happy to guide you through the menu and make recommendations based on your preferences. Overall, Blue bellvine is a true gem for anyone looking to experience the vibrant flavors of Nyonya cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

3 star for the environment because not crowded, some nyonya restaurants very hard to get booking because penang people really like nyonya food. The serving portion is..... so tiny, n price is very high. The taste ok ok. Try 1 time but not so sure if I will go back again.

Very good food. The taste wasn’t completely hidden behind tons of spices which is too common unfortunately. Service was very good. Ambience is quiet and the lace decoration is excellent. The prices are indeed slightly higher than in other places but you don’t get the same experience.

Overall taste was above average, however the pricing is high and portion is small. But consider of Michelin award, it still acceptable tho.

Authentic nyonya cooking served within one of the best ambience you can find. Very friendly and helpful owner who can recommend you dishes based on your liking. Service was good too. We've always craved for Perut Ikan and Jiu Hu Char to rate any nyonya restaurants - so those were the dishes we ordered, aside from a plate of Fried Egg for some protein. The perut ikan was one of the best we have had, and mind you we have tried at many other nyonya establishments. Jiu Hu Char was authentic too. Portion was just nice. Other than the over-priced fried egg, we were happy with the other dishes.

They just open earlier this year, the place with lotsa bearbrick decorations. Liked the bear brick collection there and the bearbrick beverage bottle are cute 😋. The nyonya food is delicious, the Kapitan chicken and their Ju Hu Char set lunch are good.

On a Wednesday night, I arrive as the only diner. Needless to say, an empty restaurant can be unnerving. After my beer arrives, I order the pie-tee as appetiser, the gulai assam stingray and the sushi haebi pulut as accompaniment. Presentation is tactically pretty and Instaworthy. Taste wise not much to complain or critique. In fact the gulai assam was very tasty, fresh and well prepared but at these premium prices, one would have expected a bit more flair and pomp. I get the concept here - elevating the cuisine to fine dining standards but just competent cooking only won’t do. When it was time for some dessert, only the nyonya bachang (dumpling) was offered which was similar to the pulut I had earlier. Rather disappointing.

Went there hungry, left there hangry. Portion were tiny and price was sky high. They were trying to go for a Nyonya fine dining kind of vibe but the presentation of the food and the taste is otherwise. The ambience is nice tho. Quiet, spacious and comfy but I would not go back for the food and prices.

We were pleasantly impressed by this restaurant as they provided one of the friendliest dine-in services in Penang. In addition to that, the food was great, it's flavorful and not too salty. Songs were played in the restaurant which made the place cozy and comfy. We also love the unique mixture of antique and modern interior decorations. Would definitely dine in this restaurant again in the future.

We enjoyed the meal very much. The taste was good and the deco of the restaurant is very pleasing. Portion of food is not big thus allowing us to try more varieties. Definitely one of the better peranakan food (with a very slight twist) in town. Will return and with friends

Pleasant ambience and attentive staffs makes dining authentic and decadent home-cooked Malaysian Nyonya cuisine and favorites like their signature Sesame Chicken and Fried Lemongrass Chicken at Blue Bellvine all the better.

Love the ambience, the food taste super good! Price wise is reasonable. Would recommend to try this place if you're looking for nyonya food.

Wow! Their nyonya foods are so delicious specially lo bak and ju hu char (turnip fried dried shredded cuttlefish). Ambula and white nutmeg juice serve in bearbrick bottle that catch my eye.

Very pleasant dining experience, I like the ambience and deco, very good service from the staff especially the elegant lady owner. Love all the food, very nice presentation, excellent taste namely the fried lemongrass chicken, kuih Tai Tai, nyonya Otak Otak and vinegar pork knuckle. My favorite was the black glutinous rice with santan, it was so flavourful and rich and for me it is the best version so far. Will definitely come back to sample other food next time

Food is all very presentable, but the taste is just average. If you're looking for authentic taste, then this won't be a good choice. Service is good, the lady boss is friendly. The ambience is also nice to dine in.

Went for dinner with the parents. Four of us ordered 4 dishes with 2 rice and a pot of ginger lemongrass. The bill came up to about RM180. We had the stir fried french beans which was mediocre, lacking any wok hey and without the chai poh felt like plain blanched french beans. Acar and curry chicken kapitan could use more umph of spices. Sambal udang was fresh but gravy was kinda watery and slightly lack of spice as well. Pulut hitam flavour was good but texture was too mushy. All the dishes could improve on the serving portions considering the premium prices. Definitely there are better nyonya food out there in penang. Don't think will be back or recommend to others.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
