A breakfast spot in Georgetown, Penang. Personally, the stall is overated, pricey food and time-consuming due to long queue. The food is good but not worth our time waiting. In term of hygienity during food preparation, no glove and mask weared by any of their staff. If i could rate, 3/10 only. Hope they will able to improve their quality in future. Below are what menus that i tried: 1. Roti Canai Ayam Spesial x 2 2. Roti Cheese 3. Teh - O x 2 Total = RM 22.90 (expensive for me)

Please scan mysejahtera and wear mask before enter premise. Most importantly must complete at least 2 dose of vaccine. One of the famous breakfast spot in penang. Ample parking space. If you are dining in please get a table and sit the waiter will serve you. If you are taking away please que up 😊. Please try the roti canai kambing special with the roti Bakar telur goyang. Most delicious and mouth watering 🀀

Really great roti canai which is uniquely served with julliene onions, cheese and sunny side up eggs. You can get either the beef, chicken or lamb special options. The roti canai soaks up the gravy magnificently. They officially open at 7am, but when they already started when we arrived at 6:40am on a Sunday. This place is better than Transfer or Argyl road in my opinion. Recommended for you to come and have your breakfast here.

Overall pleasant experience. If you wanna try something different than usual roti canai then you can try. Plenty of parking & dining space. Crowd and queue might be long but they move quite fast. Service was ok.

I’ve been visit this stall 2 times, never disappoint me at all. Especially their roti canai with lamb curry very superb. Kinda weird when they put cheddar cheese together on the plate, but you may ask them to not put in if you don’t want. Service quite fast but sometimes people who has finished their meal took long time to move. So that it causing a long que of waiting.

We ordered roti canai with chicken curry topped with egg and cheese, along with a teh tarik, a bountiful breakfast. Delicious roti canai. For dine-in visitors, no need to queue, straight away find an empty table, they will come and take your order. Highly recommended for KL-rians.

In my honest opinion, I think this kind of roti canai is overrated be it Transfer Road or Gemas. If you’re not someone who likes kuah banjir on your roti canai, then this is not for you. Muak sikit. This is my first time trying and I think this is the last time as well because I’m not a fan of roti canai kuah banjir like this. For someone who likes this kind of roti canai, then you should definitely go. The sauce is quite spicy. We’ve ordered 2 Daging & 1 Kambing. I had the lamb and it was nice. One of the worker who served the food was also quite unhygienic because he scooped the fried egg and pickled onion onto the bread using his bare hand instead of using a spatula. πŸ˜“ If this is non-COVID era, I would not mind that much. I’ve eaten foods scooped using bare hand in another country before but this is Msia and also during COVID era. So I think they should take extra precaution on hygiene. Update: I’ve read somewhere here that you can request for kuah asing (sauce served separately from the bread). We didn’t know so may be if I decided to come again in the future, I would def request for kuah asing.

We ordered Roti Canai banjir with chicken curry and Roti Canai banjir with lamb curry. The food is very delicious. The gravy itself is already nice. If you combine the roti canai and the curry, it compliment each other. We also ordered toast with soft boiled egg. This food is also delicious. The charred on the bread makes the entire dish taste freaking awesome. Highly reccomended to every people who comes to Penang and want to taste this masterpiece.

Food - Very tasty gravy for roti canai- we had the chicken n beef too, tender and satisfying. Good value for price. Service- Friendly crew who took care of our requests Atmosphere - Lively and local, enjoyable by the roadside!

Better for us compared to Transfer Road one. More menus. Its owner (cashier) is friendly and talkative. The Roti Canai Special Ayam Gemas Road with cheese was spicy and exceptional. If your table is near the parking area, then you have to line up to order and bring your own food to your table.

Really good Roti Canai. I never really understood the hype until I tried it myself! Loved how soft the roti is and when it's all soaked up with curry, delicious. I would suggest going early though since it's much too hot during noon time.

Order ayam special and teh tarik. Roti canai is very good compare to dat other stall in penang , if you know you know. For me the cheese kinda spoil the overall dish but still good. Teh tarik 1.50 only and really milky and sweet not like average teh tarik at mamak. Service was quick and friendly.

Food is good. Service is very good, if you can find a space to sit, you can just sit and order, no need to que. Food comes to your table relatively fast. Must try breakfast spot if you're in Penang. Easy to find parking as well.

Very friendly service and carnival like atmosphere. Many early birds. Menus are eye-popping that adds to the festivities πŸ‘ Tried out their roti canai chicken special, roti canai lamb special, and roti telur. Basically, it is like bolognese sauce + cheese + sunny side egg + dhal curry + roti canai + special item, i.e.. chicken curry or beef curry or lamb curry. It's definitely not my type of crispy yet aromatically tender roti canai. Just imagine, instead of adding pasta to the sauce, here I add roti canai.

Ermm, i would say overrated. I was so excited to try this as i am a roti canai lover, especially with lots of curry/gravy. I ordered the Roti Canai Ayam Special with the gravy. For me, its not nice. It doesn't taste like curry at all, not spicy (not even a bit), and sorry to say that the chicken is not to my taste. The food is cold, not prepared on the spot, which is a huge disappointment. One good thing about this place is the friendly staffs who assisted me during order and bill.

Well known roti canai stall for local. Q quite long during breakfast and public holidays. Their roti canai and gulai ayam really soft. Add on onions for extra kick. Large ample parking space.

This stall served a very unique Roti Canai which you can choose either to have the curry pour straight onto the Canai or have them serve separately and it came with freshly cut onion too. Their curry especially the beef curry taste superbly awesome and price at RM2/pcs which is very reasonable. Apart from beef, you may also choose mutton or chicken to be added into your curry. Please refer to the price list photo as attached. We will definitely come back again. Please note that during morning peak hour the queue might be quite long buy they have name their stall Gemas Road Brothers - Roti Canai Sabar Menanti (which means wait patiently). You may choose to seat right at the stall area or opposite inside the open space car park. Overall my family love this place and will come back again.

The best roti canai you can get in Penang. Used to eat here every morning before school. Sambal kambing πŸ˜šπŸ‘ŒπŸΎ Top tier 10/10. It's in a small road, therefore parking will be hard. Please obviously it's gonna be crowded and have a long queue. Ingat buat magic boleh keluar roti kah woi πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ. Tempat pun dah kecik order je la bungkus senang ish ish.

Hmmm, better order beef. The chicken smell like 2 days lauk kenduri. Serving was quite fast. Comfortable place to sit. I went there on weekdays. Probably different experience from people going on weekends.

Easy to parking. Need to come early or not you need to queue. The lamb should be big chunk. But we get small.

  • 5/5 FerdieG 3 years ago on Google
Having breakfast here was a great start to our day. We had roti canai special ayam, roti canai special daging & coffee. The chicken & beef gravy is quite different but it goes well with the roti canai. Please don’t expect a typical chicken curry, this is different and good. There was no need to queue just grab a seat at an available table and they will be there to take your order.

πŸ‘ Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
