Very slow! Slow service as hell!!! If u r really hungry pls dont come here. They ll ignore u. Even uncle beside me come late can get foods first. Wasting 1 hour just for maggie goreng. Improve first!

Worst service staff I have ever received in my life. Saw a uncle next table eating with the previous diner's dirty plates and cups. We even made an effort to call the staff several times but was completely ignored. Staff can also be seen goofing around at the back pretending to be busy. Will never ever come back

Finally got to try nasi kandar! Chose Pelita because it’s near where I stay, and also I had fond memories eating at other Pelita stalls a few years back. Dishes remain the same as I remember them. Delicious! However we went at the wrong timing, right before they replenish the dishes!

Good value, tasty meal. Speedy service. Clean environment. We had Tosai, Masala Tosai and Chapati and each were very tasty. Masala Tosai filling (spiced potato) was particularly nice. With two hot drinks the total was RM9.55. Didn't get a chance to sample the Nasi Lemak that we saw being prepared but it did look very tasty.

Nice place for late night supper or dinner. Good selection of food, but don't recommend the nasi gorengs. Have tried twice and both times, they just don't know how to make nasi goreng. However all their mee/Maggi goreng and the roti selection are great! Overall good

Don't understand how they can only be 3.7 stars. Food's really good here. Chanced upon this place after a massage and I was not disappointed.

I highly recommend trying the Mee Goreng— it's a must-try dish. You can elevate its deliciousness by pairing it with a fried egg or fried chicken, creating the perfect combination. This simple meal has the power to brighten your day and leave you feeling content. Give it a try and indulge in the delightful flavors it has to offer.

Had the egg thosai requested no oil, eaten with dhal and mango chutney and sardine, so delicious the thosai was light and the sardine was tangy salty cooked to perfection, polished off everything on ny table. Came in at 8 am, will be bacj for sure.

Local dish, very herbs-y and oily. Similar to Nasi Padang but it’s more toward the Indian taste palette. We ordered a plate full of basmati rice and many “lauk” choices, then we ask for a sharing/smaller plate. Because we didnt want to eat too much but still want to order the Roti Tissue😂

The Nasi Kandar and the Chicken Tikka is delicious. It suits our taste buds! Definitely will return when we go to Penang again.

I went here many times every time I am in Penang, it is always my dinner place. However tonight a big disappoinment. Ordered a murtabak chicken its like a divorced between egg and prata. Very disappointing, no curry or tomato cucumber like usual. Never again. Maggie also very plain. Waiting time too is unreasonable. Everytime order teh tarek ais always get hot one😅

Came here after checking in and we were famished. We were looking for 24 hour option near the hotel (sunway hotel) and the hotel staff recommended us to head over to this place for some decent food. 1. Ayam Maggi goreng was pretty damn amazing for us. The maggi had a faint taste of curry powder which we felt elevated the whole dish. The ayam was simply amazing, even the chicken breast was soft and tender enough 2. The drinks here were done well, pretty darn good milo ice. However the roti canai felt a little too healthy, where it barely had any oil on it. Additionally, it did feel like it was a little too undercooked- would have preferred it slightly more crispy

Tried their Nasi Kandar with Ayam lada and Kari ikan. The Ayam was good but Kari ikan could be better. Nasi briyani was spectacular with the fried shallots and garlic. However, it was a shame that the food was not served hot. Good service! Friendly and helpful staff. Dining atmosphere is considerably good as well. We had our meal at about 11AM, and it was really hot but the place is furnished with loads of fans!

We chose Nasi Kandar Pelita as our eating place for supper. As it was already too late for us to consume rice, we decided to eat fried Maggi. The staff who took our order was not good in Malay language, so we had difficulty explaining our orders and we had to call for another staff member to get our orders done. Our order arrived a few minutes later, but the Maggi was quite bland in taste.

If you're a foodie visiting Kuala Lumpur, you simply must try Pelita, one of the best Indian Muslim restaurants in the city. Their Nasi Kandar is absolutely delicious, and they're open 24 hours a day, so you can satisfy your cravings anytime! Located near the iconic Petronas Towers, Pelita is centrally located and easily accessible for tourists. The open-air concept of the restaurant is lovely, and the cleanliness of the space is impressive. The menu at Pelita is diverse, and the prices are very reasonable, making it an affordable option for budget-conscious travellers. One dish that you must try is their Roti Canai, which is freshly prepared and incredibly delicious. However, make sure to arrive before 11:00am or in the late afternoon/evening if you want to try it freshly made. Overall, Pelita is highly recommended if you enjoy Indian food. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious, affordable food in Kuala Lumpur. With their 24-hour service, convenient location, and open-air concept, Pelita is the perfect place to satisfy your cravings for authentic Indian food.

We gave this place 5 tries since they were a stone throw away from our hotel. 1st time we were there , the staff pulls out their laminated menu which included 5 or 6 items under(chefs specials). They only had 2 of the items. When I asked if the other items on the list will be available on different days as we were in Penang for two weeks, the staff replied they have not had it for a long time. So we left. 2 days later went or breakfast, food was mediocre at best. Service and attitude from staff including cashier was really bad. My food came first, half way through my husband's food came. Next day went for lunch, ordered what they and ordered a side of fresh cut onions and green chillies. They charged us for the onions and green chillies but never gave it to us until half way through our meal, even though we repeatedly reminded them. Third time we went for dinner again same situation with the onions and green chillies. Make no mistake, each time we were there , they were not busy. A week later went to get some roti in the evening since they are "open 24hrs" Did not have it. I think they are not interested in serving people as they are too big and can careless about their customers. But thanks to them, not far from them on Madras St, I found a Indian food stall selling authentic south Indian food for breakfast and lunch out of a Chinese coffee shop. The food is fresh and prepared in traditional clay pot. Further down on Madras street there was a big coffee shop where another traditional claypot south Indian shop with great food from 11 am... Both stores had great customer service even though there were only 2 staff at each store and they are busy.

Maybe because I had my lunch too late (3pm) and the food were not fresh anymore. Fried chicken was cold and soft. Sotong cold. Curry fish cold and not so fresh. No more prawns. So, if you want nice fresh Nasi Kandar dishes, go early and wait for the “freshly out of the wok turmeric fried chicken.

Tasty chicken and rice . The gravy for the rice is delicious. Despite the reviews, I found the service to be very good both times I've been here. A fairly big complaint is that the chicken has been cold or room temperature each time.. I'd say 3.5 stars because of that

This is one of the place we will go when we are craving for roti canai. Today my son told me he wanted to eat roti canai, so I brought him went to Pelita. The restaurant is clean and food is nice. I ordered their soup kamping as well. Very nice flavoring and delicious. My always favourite is roti Boom and roti tissue. This is the first time we introduce roti tissue to my 4y/o son. He likes it very much. Price is considered still reasonable. I ordered 1x roti telur, 2x roti boom, 1x sup kambing, 1x roti tissue, 1x orange juice, 1x 100 Plus. Total costed me RM22. Next time surely I will order the sup kambing again. And also will try their naan.

The only place to open at midnight so I made a stop. The chicken and squid is dry and cold. Taste wise just okay. Price wise a bit expensive. The restaurant is not clean, food leftovers are on and under the table. The place is not really well run, no sense of cleanliness whatsoever.

👍 Queue seemed quite long when we arrived around 2.30 pm but we only waited about 20 minutes. I think they should have more signage to tell customers what to do so the process can be easier. There was only one waiter upstairs in the seating area so it was quite difficult to get his attention. Food is...
