(Good) - Request for items such as ironing board and electronic was delivered within 5 minutes. Great service, kudos to front desk and housekeeping staff! - Smart TV (Samsung) available for connection to android phone/laptop to watch your own movies! Will be required to connect to hotel wifi to execute the screen mirroring. Able to use HDMI cable (not available in hotel), suggest to bring. Local Tv channels available for viewing as well. Able to connect USB and RJ45 port for personal laptop as well. - Good location, 5 minutes walk to Paya Lebar MRT for variety of food & beverages and convenient to travel to town area from there. May take a bus there (1 stop), bus stop just beside petrol station. Petrol station available just beside hotel for late night hunger pangs. - Ample power socket (total of 6 in bed area, and 1 in toilet for hair dryer), allows 2 pin for overseas traveller. - Table available as work desk and for other purposes. Fridge available (2 x bottled water provided). Hot water flask available as well. Bedroom shoes (thin cushion) provided. - Bed was really comfortable. Extra pillows available in the cabinet. - Food delivery can be informed to be kept at front desk area with indication of room number, where hotel staff will call guest via hotel phone for collection at lobby. Another commendable service!! - 'Do-not-disturb' & 'Housekeeping' service only requires guest to press the switch in the room (instead of having to hang the signs at the door handle like other hotels do). Advanced facility! - Very quick check-in and check-out process. Only required to drop the keys at the basket on the front desk area for check-out. Check-in time from 2pm onwards, check-out by 12pm. (Room for improvement) - Air con blows directly at bed (wall-mounted type). May adjust the flap manually. - Lift arrives at a relatively slow pace. Sensor for card not reactive, have to tap multiple times. Only 2 lifts available. - Room not 100% soundproof, but decent enough for a good sleep. - Light switches can get a little complicated, as to which switches goes for which light, however ample lightings are available. (Others) - Rooftop open area not fully covered by shelter, hence prone to drastic weather changes, but ample seats are available. Rooftop only opened until certain hours at night. - Breakfast available at Level 2 cafe priced at $15++ SGD per pax, with different menu set offered daily. to cater to different profile of guests. Small selection of up to 10 dishes only.

Tasteful, rather classy design despite its lower than average price. The main lobby looks presentable too. But room is definitely on the small side, just like most other hotels in Singapore. The treatment from the staff doesn't make you feel like you are opting for a budget or love hotel.

Located at a very convenient area. Walks away from major malls of Paya Lebar. 24hr shell station with essential needs just at a few metres.

The hotel is clean & cozy. But it does have blood stain on floor. only bad thing, cannot request for more towels. But overall is still quite a decent and nice hotel. Only thing location is abit far from eateries.

I recently stayed at Aqueen Hotel and while I enjoyed my stay overall, I was disappointed to find that they do not accept more modern payment methods like mobile payments or digital wallets. The hotel currently only accepts cash, major credit cards, and bank transfers. I found this to be inconvenient as I prefer to use mobile payments whenever possible. However, the staff was not so friendly anyway the hotel was clean and well-maintained. Overall, I would recommend Aqueen Hotel for its convenient location and reasonable rates, but if you prefer to use newer payment technologies, it may not be the best option for you.

Not recommended. If only a day or 1 just for sleeping, u can go for it. More than that, you will be better to stay somewhere else. We stay there for 14 nights under the renocation package. The room is dirty with cockroaches around. Toilet basin is so mouldy. Staffs are rather rude and not helpful. I paid to use both washing and dryer machine. It stopped half way. Checked with front desk, but the lady shouted to question me if it was because I put high temperature for the dryer. There's no rules or instruction about the max of temperature, furthermore I only put medium hot. We have complimentary parking as we are long stay customer. And yet, we are being treated unfairly when comes to collecting the parking coupon. Staffs themselves are not consistent. The first staff we met, said one time can take two. The next day, we ask for two coupons from another Staffs, was told it should be on need basis. And I insisted that her colleague said can take two at one time, she asks for room no. Subsequent day my husband the one who collect, can take two coupons and no questions asked or room no jot down. Do not recommend.

A hotel with dirty rooms, ants on the bed, long and shaved hair, dust and dirt on the tv countertop, fridge, wardrobe, sink and bathtub. Bathroom has lots of mould and gives out a sewage stench. Bed divan has lots of leftover hair from previous customers and housekeepers did not clean thoroughly even though they are super polite and friendly to customers. Overall, an unpleasant experience for the price. If you care about comfort and cleanliness, this is the hotel to avoid.

Good for just few days stay. Clean room. But staff could have been more bit friendly like atleast saying goodmorning/goodevening (i believe its not too much to ask). They aren't rude but aren't friendly aswell. Location is also convenient if you dont mind walking to the mrt for 6-9mins.

GOOD PART: Very Fast efficient Check in I wish that every hotel did this very impressive. Room is decent for 3 star but the price I paid was way too high Plug sockets in the room were perfect for travelers Bath tub. Good quality Tea facility in room. Room was decent size and was Quiet. Need Improvement · No USB plugs in room They have a Smart TV but have Disabled ability to stream from your phone to the TV this would cost the hotel zero but would have improved the facility and comfort convenience to the guest. No breakfast available. they made excuse because of Covid! I thought we moved on now June 2022? Shower was broken I could not turn it off. Room 1016 1 Lift was Out of Order so only 1 remaining available and plenty of guests trying to use it. Lifts are old and quite Slow.

I was here at 2019, the ambience was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly to me Recommended hotel for those who want to stay with not so much budget. There is a Convenience store near hotel so you don't have to walk too far for little grocery

It was our guest's second time staying in this hotel whilst in transit to HongKong. Room was ok except for the bedside lamp that he had difficulty switching off so he slept in a dimmed instead of a dark room. Came back after a week in transit to home country. Was grateful for the room upgrade but room had a foul damn smell.

If you are taking flight to Singapore, this hotel is not too far away, maybe 20 to 30 minutes away. Or even 15 minutes if there’s no traffic jam. The hotel: It’s pretty, modern and clean. Nice interior and fast elevators. There’s a designated smoking area where the car enters, next to the rubbish bin. If you ordered e-hailing cabs or taxis, the entrance is quite convenient. The room: I asked for a smoking room cos I’m a smoker (no vape allowed in Singapore btw but if you managed to sneak one in, well, it’s unlikely but if you do, good for you, just don’t smoke it outdoor). Room is super clean, very comfortable and the air conditioner works very well, even at 25 degree Celsius it’s very cooling. The bathroom is clean too, love the shower cos the temperature is easily adjustable. There are shower gel and shampoo tubes; shaving kit, shower cap, oral kit and towels. The only complaint that I have, there’s isn’t any bidet for the toilet. Actually it’s almost impossible to find bidets in Singaporean public toilets and in hotels. So if you’re used to using bidet like me, improvise. I carried a 500ml empty bottle with me wherever I go in Singapore. The Service: Staff there are really friendly and nice, ask them anything and they’ll help you the best they can. There’s a cafe in the hotel but only operates breakfast, brunch and lunch, until 3pm if I’m not mistaken. The cleaning crew will clean your room everyday unless you ask them not to. Had their breakfast, buffet style, not bad. Nearby amenities: Don’t worry about drinks and snacks or stuff you need, cos there is a shell station with convenient store, so many things there. If you decided to walk further, there are a couple of malls about 10 to 15 minutes away. And the malls are next to each other essentially. Transport: The easiest would be e-hailing service but you could easily take a bus too, the nearest bus stop is about 5 minutes away from the hotel. You can take the train too, the closest station is about 10 minutes away. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay. It’s not a shopping hub area of course, it’s ideal for business or work trip cos the industrial and business areas are near the hotel. I see a lot of solo businessmen at the hotel.

Excellent location, close to bus stop, markets and train. The most comfortable beds we've experienced. Special thanks to Gerald and the breakfast team for their kindness and professionalism. Moreover there's a huge variety of breakfast, both eastern and western cuisine. Amazing taste. When in Singapore, we are definitely returning.

A very simple place with great business facilities. Very good location and hotel if you are coming for a company seminar. The surrounding area is rich with good food and markets as well as the mall. The staff is very attentive and accommodating, letting me store my bag before my flight after my check out and being very friendly and warm, offering me water and checking in with me. The room I was in was a bit small but reasonable for the price. I recommend it to anyone traveling in Singapore if you can get a deal on the room.

Location: The location is perfect. Only a 3 minute walk to the mall/MRT/Bus Station. Room: The room is clean, I like the soft smell of the hotel. Nice view as great people. Food: The food is superb. Breakfast is worth it. We also had lunch here and their food is really great. The servers are really helpful and approachable. Their prices are also reasonable. Overall: It’s a really good place, located at the center of everything you need, Bus Station/MRT/Mall/Convenient Store. The room is clean and comfy. Had a good rest after a tiring day tour. Food is great! And the people here are helpful and approachable. Pricing is also reasonable.

Clean room, good location, reasonable price. The only problem for me is the water heater. The hot water just doesn't work. It's not even warm. The rest are fine.

We got a windowless Non-smoking room. Room was damp and had an unpleasant odor due to not getting fresh air and sunlight. Toilet has black mold. Hallway and room is DARK AF. Male front desk clerk with frosted hair was rude and dismissive. Location is far from everywhere. Bus stop is 3 minute walk so that's a plus.

A place to stay every time we have to come all the way for office every year.. It's so close to LLL building payalebar and very convenient to reach anywhere across SG. The hotel room is quite small but everything else is very cozy and lovely. I cant complain.

A fine hotel for a relatively inexpensive stay in this part of Singapore. The manager, Rashidah, was very helpful in resolving a problem I had while staying there, related to washing some clothes. I commend her and her staff for this.

Booked for 2 nights from 28/12-30/12 but only stayed one night because of the loud noisy drilling construction that is going on throughout the day which send tremors to the bed and also can hardly listen to the other speaking. Hence I checked out after first night and asked hotel for refund of the second unstayed night and they simply outrightly refused! Ridiculous that they don’t forewarned guest of the booking at booking and during checked in. And even refused refund too. Please avoid this hotel unless you wish to be bullied!

Hotel features a lot of transit guests , a select clientele of women who work at night and have frequent visitors. Overall it’s a bang for buck hotel. You should consider it strongly.

Nice hotel to stay, very convenient near to shopping mall PLQ and Paya Lebar Square. Public transport very convenient. Distance to Mrt Station approx. 15mins. Traffic is not congestion and you can get by highway PIE to airport within 25mins. Hotel time being serve breakfast for in house guest and is Halal. It a boutique hotel with 160 rooms no swimming pool, fitness gym. Only is for relax, rest and go out for sightseeing.

Receptionist May doesn’t check safe-entry, entered the lobby and went to the lift with no one stopping me or whatsoever to see if I’ve checked in. Very dusty room and dirty carpet, bedsheet made my body felt super itchy. Requested to change a room and the receptionist sighed over the phone and say ‘wait ah’. Went down with my stuff to collect new keys, asked for another one to place it in the room, lady went to rummage her pile of cards loudly like she hates her job. Slept for one night - woke up to red ants on the bed and I was also bitten. Didn’t even bring any food into the room. Horrible customer service, almost 0 cleanliness. Booked 2 nights but can only tolerate staying 1.

Hotel canceled at the last minute because 'the room wasn't ready'. Booking was at 3pm and hotel reception only told us at 3.15pm, when we already went down and was queuing. If they were not prepared, they definitely would have known earlier, but they did not inform us until the last minute. We were not even the only ones, there was 2-3 other couples that got rejected. Highly disappointing and huge waste of our time. Book at your own risk!

Stayed here for 2 days. Courteous front desk staff available 24x7. Room was neat. You have to book in advance for getting best price. Paya lebar metro station is in walkable distance. Direct booking is recommended. They allowed early check in.

I went there for day use. It was a nice experience. Staff is polite and caring. Their superior room is bigger than the normal hotel. Walkway is clean, no rubbish putting outside every room. Wifi is strong, can do video conferencing smoothly. Nowdays, i believe many of us finding a quiet place for interview. The most important feature of this hotel is SUPER QUIET as compare to the normal hotel.

The hotels and room is nice, but the attitude of the reception was very very very bad. As a customer, you shouldn’t be using a bad attitude of talking to your guest. Then management should look into it and improve the quality of service in your staff. Especially reception is the first thing your customer will talk to and interact to.

I spent 10 days SHN there, it was nice. The staff is responsive and understanding. But the SHN food was the same every 2 days + you don't have microwave so you are supposed to eat it when they bring it to you even if you don't really want to :)

The first room issued I had to go down to counter twice due faulty door lock. Good recovery upgrade to premium room. The rooms are quite close to each other so closing the room doors can be heard by neighbouring room. Room is clean. Staff friendly.

Stay there for more than 10days they only do housekeeping for 4x always never refill tissue papers and the rest of the daily essential. I will rate the short hair malay receptionist 1star if I can.. Her service attitude really lousy.

  • 4/5 Vannroath K. 1 year ago on Google
First, since the hotel is considered very close to Paya Lebar MRT station, it's very good if you're travelling around by MRT. It's also quite near to airport that it'll cause you less to get on taxi back and forth. The room, it's not big nor small for Singapore maybe 😂 everything in the room is good. The surrounding is a bit tricky. I can hear the noise of airplane flying above my head quite often.
