Victoria Park is one of the best park areas nearby to take the family. Big wide open spaces reasonably well maintained. Plenty of room for everyone, from big family groups, cyclists & dog walkers. Barbecues, picnics &Football games & obviously the activity parks. The maze at the park... best thing about it. Me and my kids can play for hours around that. Although its a bit of a mess. Areas in very poor condition. WHY.... Surely the workers from the council or council officials visit this park.. they must see it needs some maintenance & upkeep. I don't know....maybe seeing as its one of the most popular and busiest parks... theyd want to keep it fresh and looking good.

Such a lovely park! Bring your dog for a fun walk, kids to play in the playground, or just escape the city and unplug with a lovely pond and different scenery’s of trees and garden. Saturdays there is a 5k park run.

Big park with a few amenities, free tennis courts and basket ball courts. Toilets are a little outdated and could do with a decent clean and revamp.

Great park for walkers, runners and other activities. Glasgow City Council should pay more attention to Fossil Grove as its in not good state.

One of my favourite parks to go to either for walking with the kids or for the Saturday park run weekly , its all good and on the flat ideally, also noted in an episode of still game called hot seat , can't fault this park albeit the toilet facilities which are usually open have been closed recently

Great community resource, with gorgeous flower beds and lots of routes to mix up the daily jaunt. However, the pond could really do with a dredge.

Lovely scenic park, fairly good play park, my son loves the viewing point bench to look down on the park and the rocky walk round beside the little fossil museum, beautiful flower garden too. We visit quite often in the good weather.

Victoria Park is one of the sweetest and quietest parks among the 94 parks in Glasgow (called as "my dear green place") . Plenty of grass and flowers, there is an incredible flower garden and a stunning fossil Grove with a beautiful Japanese-sort garden around. Pity the museum is closed, there there are trees 325 million years old! It is a must Glasgow Council has to reopen, only school visit would justify a small staff to run the Grove.

We enjoy a visit to Victoria Park; there are toilets and a coffee hut, a reasonable play area with a maze. There are tennis courts and large areas of green space to run around on. The old boating pond is home to many birds and there is to the west of the park Fossil Grove which is semi closed currently due to Covid. It's a well maintained park with plentiful seating and is pleasant for a walk, picnic and a play

A popular local park. It is pretty with tulip flower beds with Crocus in winter and Daffodils in spring. May be because of its popularity the park is quite often badly littered. :(

I recently visited Victoria Park in Glasgow, Scotland and had a wonderful experience. Here's why I highly recommend it: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Victoria Park is a beautiful oasis in the heart of Glasgow. The park's well-maintained green spaces, vibrant flower beds, and majestic trees create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It's the perfect place to escape the city and connect with nature. ⚽🌳 The park offers a range of activities for everyone. Whether you enjoy a stroll, cycling, or jogging, the expansive paths and trails cater to outdoor enthusiasts. Families will love the well-equipped play areas for children, while the charming pond adds to the park's charm. πŸ¦–πŸŒ³ Don't miss Fossil Grove, a fascinating site within the park featuring ancient fossilised tree stumps. It's a unique glimpse into the park's history and a must-see attraction. πŸ—πŸ”₯ One of the highlights of Victoria Park is the opportunity to enjoy a barbecue. Visitors can bring their food and use the designated barbecue areas, making it a perfect spot for picnics and outdoor gatherings. πŸšπŸ…ΏοΈ Victoria Park is easily accessible, with good public transportation connections and ample parking. Clean restrooms and well-maintained facilities add to the convenience of the park. Whether looking for a peaceful retreat, outdoor activities, or a place to spend quality time with loved ones, Victoria Park is a top-notch destination. I highly recommend visiting and enjoying the beauty, tranquillity, and the chance to have a delightful barbecue experience in this park.

Beautiful park with nice walking routes and lovely kept flower beds. There is a massive pond that was home to ducks, swans and other birds. There are toilets and a small cafe van with seatings. A play park for kids. We also noticed tennis courts and a basket ball court which looked fairly new while walking around. Loads of benches and of course not forgetting the number one bench at the top of the park looking I've the flower beds.

A great day out in Victoria Park in Glasgow. A perfect place to bring your dog, no leash required as long as they behave. It has a separate play area for kids, a huge pond full of beautifull birds, plenty of areas to throw a ball around, it even has a couple of courts to play tennis and basketball. If the sun is out, a great place to spend an afternoon!

It Was brillant taking a wee stroll walk at Victoria Park earlier today. All I did was walked round the park, had my lunch & then a vanilla ice-cream there. ? Also took some photos during my time there. ??Was cloudy & wee spits of rain.☁? But still not a bad day for some exercise walking with my buddies club group. We all wore our face masks & gloves while keeping 2 metres apart from each others during our day out at the park. ????
