A small restaurant near the central train station. It offers both takeaway and dine in option. It has quite some options to choose from. The service is quick and warm. However, we did not like the scampi meal ordered by my friend. The fish & chips were average.

Bought a fush, curry sauce and a deep fried Mars bar to go. The fish was delicious and the curry sauce spicy 💜💜 this was my first deep fried Mars bar, I loved it, it wasn't too greasy or too sweet 💜💜🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 #purplenanatravels

Great place for fish and chips. Very well maintained outlet. Even washrooms are very clean. Friendly service by the staff, very courteous. Not a great place for Burgers though. Try out their traditional fish and chips alone. Chips can be made little more crispier, sometimes the chips are really soggy.

Wonderful experience. Staff were attentive and extremely nice, well located store just under Glasgow central station All facilities were clean and tidy and the location offers a well decorated resteraunt (where i went) and a side takeaway area for those on the move 100% would come again, had a great experience. This place also offers Deep fried mars bars for those wondering.

Home of the deep fried mars bar, Usually when I'm offered celebrations, I always try to avoid mars however this is just something else. The melted chocolate oozing with caramel out of the perfect batter makes for a mouthwatering experience. Definitely worth the trip to Glasgow, 10 out 10. Big shout-out to the friendly staff.

Perfect stop for a traditional fish & chips. The staff (Witold and Yvonne) took great care of us. Super friendly. The deep fried Mars Bar was the perfect end to a great day in Glasgow.

Really nice place. Nicolle was really friendly, very informative and accommodating to a tired traveler who had been travelling all day. The food was tasty and plentiful. Next time I am back in Glasgow this will be my first stop of the train.

Great customer service and I liked the ambience of the resto. The Mozzarella bites were much better than the fish and chips and I would recommend trying different food items rather than just going for fish and chips which I didn't like that much. They have different rates for sitting-in and takeaway. The customer service is great and the washrooms were super clean. Thanks again for the good service.

Despite some bad reviews, we decided to give it a go as it looked quite nice. They had an option for halal fish which they fried fresh in separate oil which was fantastic. The restaurant ambiance was lovely and the service was great too. Thought it was reasonably priced. The fish was fantastic, very light batter, not too greasy. Only thing that could be improved was the bread they offered was literally a slice of bread, would’ve expected a bread roll but not sure if that’s traditional. All in all was a great experience. Will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely gluten free fish and chips. Very good service and very courteous staff. Special mention to Soniya for taking care of us and answering all questions very patiently. If I am ever back in Glasgow and I am definitely having it again.

This is a great wee chippy. I have been many times and you can expect a friendly and efficient service not to mention the absolutely delicious fish tea. I was served by a very pleasant lady called Yvonne and she even remembered me from my previous time eating there.

Traditional fish & chips with all trimmings at competitive prices. Family run business maintaining good quality service in a clean environment despite its location in dark alley under bridge of Glasgow Central Train Station. Generous food portion served by courteous and obliging staff. Worth a visit, specially for those on low budget!!

Stopped in quick for Fish and Chips, and the staff was very friendly right away. Portions were HUGE. We ordered the fried chicken breast and it was half a chicken!

Service is good, location is convenient, right below the Glasgow Central Station. They have a separate fryer for Halal requirements (there’s vegan option too!). Portion is big (big for SEAsians at least). Ambience is nice though at times you can hear the trains from the track above. Overall, it’s good. 👍🏻

Great fish and chips place which was opened by an Italian! Wasn't expecting much from a franchise fish and chip place but it was as good as any independent chip shop! The jumbo sausage and chips was a perfect portion for one person and was £7.95

Haven’t tried the fish and chips, but the deep fried mars bar was really good and the guys serving the food were fun to talk to.

Came in here for dinner on Sunday 12th February, was not very busy and only seemed to be one person serving and one cooking. Served quickly enough and ordered the food - 2 fish and chips with some sides and drinks - most of it was fine bar the fish which was full of bones. The waiter never came near after serving so couldnt raise it and was pressed for time as had to catch a train so we pressed on and ate as much as possible, myself having to stop and spit it out as a sharp bone (thankfully) lodged between my teeth, if it hadnt I might have choked. My son then showed me a similar size bone in his. I then called the waiter over and asked for the bill and alerted him to the bones and said it wasnt good enough. He was polite and apologised but said it wasnt their fault as they got the fish in - dont they fillet it properly? Is it cheap cuts? I was surprised however when he brought the bill for £36 with no deductions for the poor quality bone infested fish which I challenged - he said he didnt have authority as only the manager could do discounts and he wasnt in. I didnt have time to argue due to catching the train but this is nowhere near good enough. I dont recommend and wont be back here in a hurry. Very poor.

We drove 600 miles for a deep fried mars bar. It was worth every mild… awesome food and such lovely service. Definitely recommend a visit here

Food was absolutely amazing. Best fishcakes I've ever had, the deep fried Mars bar with ice cream was so delicious. Service was very polite and quite quick.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant for a few years now with friends, it is absolutely amazing! The food is so delicious that today I managed to finish my sausages within five minutes! The staff are friendly, the decorations and designs are beautiful, and the service is competent and patient. Overall, I give this restraint a ten out of ten, and recommend that people atleast visit the restraint once if they get the chance!
