Having a one to one service with bespoke design in a relaxed, professional and local environment was a huge advantage! My ring is absolutely stunning and I would highly recommend visiting Bejouled.

As Darren at Bejouled had already made some beautiful diamond earrings for me with diamonds from my granny’s engagement ring, I had always planned to go back to commission a pendant with the remaining 4 diamonds. I had a vague idea of a heart shape but was aware that the diamonds were quite small. I also wanted an everyday piece of jewellery so nothing too flashy. Darren listened carefully and came up with a brilliant design which used all the 4 diamonds in a gorgeously sparkly but understated little heart shape. He used the Pave technique (new to me!) which resulted in exactly what I wanted - he managed to create a bespoke piece which felt very personal and unique. I would not hesitate to recommend Darren for his professionalism, talent and down to earth approach.

Great efficient service by an expert. I had my engagement and wedding ring replated for 50% cheaper than Rox, where the rings were purchased. And it was far quicker as Rox had to send away which could take up to 4 weeks. Bejouled did in 2 days!

I was recommended to go to Bejouled by my work friend to choose our wedding rings. I had a rough idea of what style I wanted and Darren was very patient with me (showing me probably 20 different rings) for me to go choose one of the first ones I tried on. So glad to have found this lovely jewellers in Shawlands to have my engagement ring and a few other pieces remodelled. The jeweler, Darren, showed great patience (!) in discussing ideas and possibilities with me and gave me all the time I needed to make decisions and last minute changes. Mine was probably one of the smaller commissions Darren has completed but there was no lack of attention given, as he appreciated its importance to me. There are also some beautiful pieces for sale, so it's lovely to have a browse any time.

I had my engagement ring re-modelled by Darren at Bejouled. After a few disappointing visits to various jewellers beforehand, I was a bit nervous about the process and cost of re-modelling my ring. Darren couldn’t have been more helpful! He talked over various options in an honest and knowledgeable way. He produced excellent CAD drawings quickly which helped make final design decisions so much easier. He was transparent in his explanation of the process and costs associated which I was very grateful for. I always thought picking the perfect engagement ring would be one of life's toughest choices. But it was effortless and stress free with Darren. Negotiating can be an awkward process, but Darren was more than reasonable and offered an excellent price. As I was proposing abroad, Darren had a tight time frame to craft the ring but managed to deliver earlier than planned, which took a load off my mind. My husband and I are completely overwhelmed with the beautiful rings Darren at Bejouled has made for us. We cannot recommend his bespoke service enough! My Cousin got married a few years ago and Darren made her wedding ring and it was beautiful. Since then I always said I want my wedding rings from Darren. However when ordering my rings I was a little uncertain as I am from England and wasn’t sure if I should order my ring from so far away. However my Cousin reassured me and we contacted Darren. From the conception of the idea all the way through the process, Darren guided us. I was very indecisive or uncertain on the design. I liked one design then a few days later I changed my mind (Just wanted it perfect) Darren was happy to change the design every time I changed my mind. Not once did He make me feel, he was fed up with me. He kept me up to date with all the options available and provided fantastic CAD images so I could ensure it was how I envisaged it before it was made. I got in touch with Bejouled about restoring some silver jewellery that belonged to my grandmother. I thought it was a long shot because they specialise in wedding and engagement rings but Darren responded quickly to my online enquiry to say he was happy to help. I felt nervous going in to talk about the jewellery I have and what I needed done because I know next to nothing about silver *or* jewellery. When I arrived, Darren was keen to talk about what I needed and he asked me lots of questions, which made me feel at ease even though I couldn't answer some of them! He talked me through what he would try to do and he was honest about some possible limitations. He answered all my questions, said he would call me if there were any issues and he gave me a written quote when I left everything behind. Within a few days, I had a call to say everything was ready. I was really surprised at how fast he turned everything around. I thought having to deal with a bunch of old dull, grey pieces would take ages. When I picked everything up, I was blown away at how different it all looked! It was a little emotional imagining that the pieces now looked like they did when my grandmother first got them somewhere around 50 years ago. Darren made sure I had all the information I needed about taking care of them from now on, which I really appreciated. I cannot thank Darren from Bejouled enough for the amazing wedding ring he created for me! I had got engaged in December 2018, my fiance and I went wedding ring shopping in July 2019 and were informed by my engagement ring manufacturer that the matching wedding band had been discontinued as they were redesigning the whole range and that my size was not in stock in any of their stores or online. A friend had recommended Bejouled as that is where they got their wedding rings made. We went in early March 2020 to see Darren and he couldn't have been any more helpful! He confirmed that he would be able to match my engagement ring shoulder set diamonds, width and general design. Even through the Covid lockdown, although there were unprecedented delays, Darren was able to provide updates on my ring (even though we ended up postponing to 2021) and I was able to collect it in early August. I went to Darren to get an antique engagement ring re-set into a modern setting. From start to finish he was very friendly and informative. He completed the work on time and I couldn't be happier with the result. Its a 5 out of 5 from me.

We booked an appointment for Saturday 15th August at 12:00 to check for wedding bands. We arrived at 12:00 and after 5mins we were told by the owner that our appointment will be delayed for 30mins. We re-arranged our appointment for 14:45. When we returned at 14:45 and started explaining to the owner what we were looking for, the impression we were getting from his short answers and behaviour in general is that we were bothering him. He showed us a couple of catalogues and a few sample rings he had in the shop but still we had to ask multiple questions to understand how things such as width, carats etc would impact the price and the look of the rings. The owner kept notes of our preferences and before we leave he advised that he would send us a quote through email on Tuesday 18th Aug. When we asked him if he could give us a quote for some alternatives as well (e.g. lower/higher number of carats, different material etc) to check which price better suits our budget, his answer was "do you want the cheapest ring?", something that did not sound polite at all at a such important moment for us and made us feel uncomfortable. Eventually, he never sent the quote he told us he would send, although we told him our wedding is going to take place soon!! Very disappointing behaviour by someone who owns the place but did not seem to be willing to serve his customers properly. We would not recommend this place at all.
