Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine staff are always do caring & professional. My Cat Rambo got his yearly shots & he's always so scared & timid. They made sure he wasn't too scared & were very gentle with him. Rocky my German Shepherd dog also got his nails clipped too. As much as he doesn't like getting his nails clipped, he still comes in all happy & leaves just as happy giving everyone kisses. Thanks for being so careful with my pets & making sure they are comfortable.

We had to euthanize our pet dog of 16 years. The staff has been well trained to deal with the emotions of this challenging moment. Theyl had been our dog's vet for only about nine months, but I found them to be very thorough and professional. The only downside is because they are good, they are sometimes difficult to get an appointment because they are pretty busy.

The entire staff are always friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It’s the only place I’ll take my working dog to. Thank you taking care of him!

Our dogs have been visiting this clinic since they were puppies. Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine offers superior vet care from the reception greeting, to the tech care, to the vet visit. We most recently took our Gus and Walter in for a nail trim and the tech took time to play with Gus to make him feel more comfortable going to the back area for care. We really appreciate their love and care for our pups.

I have been going to this vet for 5 years. And have continued to stay with this location even though I've moved from Grapevine. I am grateful that they are willing to work with me and my problem child. They are patient and do not treat me as less than (due to problem child). The prices are reasonable and their paw plan is an awesome option.

The staff gets on the floor with a furbaby for the visit. He is not put on a table. He does not feel uncomfortable and we love that they do that.

It had been a couple of years since I had been back to vaccinate my cat. Today I walked in and was greeted by such a friendly girl working the front desk. Also the tech was really nice and listened to my concerns about my cat. Dr. Thompson came in and was really sweet and calm and reassured they would get kitty taken cared of.I highly recommend this place. Their new staff is great.

Set up an appointment and they had me pay up front, before seeing our dog. They canceled my appointment via email due to weather and never called to reschedule. I left them a message asking to reschedule and they never called back. Never issued a refund either. I had to call the credit card company to dispute the charge. Edit: after getting in touch with them, they acknowledged the mistake and refunded the charge. I am disappointed that it took so much legwork on my end, and that they seemed to have dropped the ball on this. However, things like this can happen to any business, so I am raising this from a one to a three star rating.

Always great service. Everyone is always so friendly & sweet to our animals. When I had to put our loved dog to sleep last year they were beyond caring & patient with me. I highly recommend FAMILY Pet Clinic. They do treat us like family.

Very affordable and great care. Jonathan (I believe) the vet tech is always so sweet and compassionate every time I visit. Dr Thompson was amazing. This was my dogs first visit and he is very weary around strangers. Staff took the time to try and calm and become friends with him to make him more relaxed. They were very thorough with the exam without pushing for extra services, but covered everything that needed to be attended to. Very happy with my visit and will return.

I went here for a regular check in appointment because I just moved to the area and needed a vet established. All seemed well and the staff were very nice but I specifically asked for checking on my pet Dusty’s teeth. Not even a month after our visit my dog needed emergency teeth surgery at his old vet where a huge abscess was found at the front that was infected leading to the visit and apparently it had been there for months. I explained I went to a vet not even 4 weeks ago and was told all was fine and released with no issues. They informed me that they were not sure how this was even missed because it was clear as day to them and was cancerous/ oral melanoma in the later stages meaning it was there for a while as well as the size. Extremely bummed as I trusted this vet to throughly check my pup in a $600 visit and went out of my way to ask about his teeth and its apparent that was not done. I understand cancer cannot be prevented even with a healthy lifestyle (which I took pride in) and for older dogs it’s all to common, but missing something of this magnitude is not only heartbreaking it’s disappointing and leads me to believe that this vet does not provide adequate health check ins.

First time customer, brought is my cat for his annual exam and vaccine. He was treated with great care. Service is very friendly. We will be returning soon when his next check up comes along.

I’ve had nothing but excellent experiences at Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine. I’ve never seen my cat Tom more relaxed during an exam! It’s in a great location, the staff is helpful and friendly, and making an appointment couldn’t be easier. Highly recommend for Grapevine pet parents.

They always take good care of my baby!! They are so patient and gentle when she gets anxious during her visits. Even when I move 30 minutes away they will still be my primary veterinarian for my current fur baby and the next one! 😄

Brought my pup Koda here for our first visit and we had a wonderful experience. All of the staff was very nice and super helpful. They loved my sweet koda girl and took great care of her. Will definitely keep coming back(:

The best place for my furbaby. So much so, he gets excited when we walk in. We were there often when we first adopted him, certain health issues, but they made him better. He is about to turn 1 and living his best life. The staff instantly recognizes him and that alone means so much.

We are new to the area and needed to get out two dogs up to date on vaccines. Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine was the closest vet to us, and I am so happy they are! They were so welcoming and really made sure our pups felt loved and safe during the whole exam and vaccinations.

Very clear and concise. Dr. Thompson is a gem of a vet. She was very clear and very detailed on what I needed to watch for after my dogs neutering and was very upfront on what to expect. I had to shop around a little and I'm sure I could have found something cheaper but trust me, this place has great interaction and very clear on what you need to do.

Dr. Thompson is the best, most thorough & caring vet we have ever had. She goes above & beyond for our babies. Dr. Thompson understands that vet care is expensive and always gives us options (within reason) to provide the best care for our fur babies that is within our budget. We always receive a written estimate before any treatment as well. She helped us manage cancer treatment for one of our dogs so we didn’t have to keep going to the veterinary oncologist. She did frequent check ups and labs while our dog was on chemo and helped us get the best price for the chemo med. When one of our other dogs was critically ill and going in and out of the ER vet, she did lab work to save on our expenses & was so thorough, manually checking one of the labs three times to ensure it was correct. Unfortunately our Lily passed away. We received a beautiful card 2 days later from Dr. Thompson in which she wrote a personal note to us. The entire staff at Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine signed the card & each wrote something personal. The office is no frills and doesn’t look “fancy” like some vet practices, but they practice seriously skillful veterinary medicine! We Dr. Elizabeth Thompson is like an extended part of our family & the staff is amazing. Bob the practice manager is awesome, as are Grace the receptionist, vet techs Kendall, Jonathan, Itzi and Fawn. Top notch!! Jan & John Williams.
