Absolutely horrendous, staff and bouncers are rude and unfriendly. They take way to many people into the club leaving you being pushed and shoved all night long. The drinks are incredibly expensive about £5 each and somehow get more expensive as the night progresses. Overall would definately not recommend to anyone who wants to have a good night.

Visited last weekend for the first time with a group. We booked a table and a couple of bottles, the service was great and we were looked after throughout the night, I believe the girls name was Amy that was looking after us. We also tried the shisha lounge at the rear of the club, a good vibe (quieter than the music in the main club) for more of a chilled social side, very well laid out. Top night will definitely return and highly recommend, very friendly bunch!

Hi, I have been this place couple of times only for sheesha. I finished work New Year’s Eve and get ready to go out for Sheeha cause there is not many choices in Gravesend. This place is worst place and races security guys. Mostly Asian guys for security rude arrogant with no manners. They search me for security as usual for everybody. Asking me stupid question like they owned me. I always have couple of headache tablet in my wallet pocket I been refuse to take them with me then I went back and put them in car. I come back and been refused for enter and I asked the reason I been told from Asian beard guy it’s my choice. I went to other Sheeha place on Wrotham road. I spend my money somewhere else. The owner must check these races security guys to keep Buisness standard high. Maybe they never see any well off person coming to that place that’s why I been refused for entry. Cheap place cheap mindset security.

Cliché, but I'd give 0 stars if I could Bouncers there have zero medical training and refused to acknowledge that I needed the can of coke in my hand while I was leaving because I was having a hypoglycaemic episode (Type 1 Diabetic). Subsequently, I was thrown out and left to recover on the ground from my hypo because I tried to take my can out with me. This isn't the only bad experience I've had in this nightclub either. The week prior I had ordered a wray and nephews and coke mixer drink. When I watched the bar lady pour my drink, it must have been quadruple measure, opposed to the double I had asked for. They also give you them in these tiny glasses, so by the time they've added your mixer, 95% of your drink is booze. As a result, this drink made me feel very ill and I had to go home early. I've never been so embarrassed in my life, I consider myself to be a well mannered, respectful guest wherever I go. I was very close to falling unconscious when I left because my hypo treatment was taken away from me by the bouncer. To tell the seriousness of this matter, I could have easily died last night. Please learn from this and make your staff aware about this medical condition or you will cause some of your customers to end up in hospital as a result of your ignorance to the situation.

Everytime I go there is at least one fight. Music is remixed radio music. Sneakers are not allowed what doesn't stop scum from coming in-They wanna be like a club in London therefore the dress code. Waiting ages to be served, staff has no idea who came first and favours people they know. At least it's cheap to go in.

If you looking for a place where to go and dance on Saturday night Blake's is the best place. There you can find all girls around Kent some of them are coming from London as well... Then the security is the best.. Very friendly than you will never have a problem with them... Ah and remember if you want to go don't put trainers because you will not be able to get in.

Generally a good choice for a Saturday night out in Gravesend (not that there are many other options). Music fairly good, but obviously depends on the DJ. Cool entertainment, dancers, fire breathers etc. Has an area which is a bit quieter where you can sit on sofas and chat at the start of the night which is nice, also there's shisha.

4.50 a bottle. Well... the place is ok i guess- but london prices?

Not a bad night out at all. They open the dance floor out the back at about 10-10:30pm which is where the main club is. Lounge area at the front is nice to chill out in beforehand. Would go again.

On my opinion the best nightclub in gravesend

I organised a night at Blake’s for my partners birthday and we had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly, fun and always made sure we were okay. Our mixers were constantly topped up and we had our own waitress who we asked if we needed anything. I have also been back to Blake’s on a ‘normal night’ and it was just as fun, with friendly professional staff and a great atmosphere.

Nice place to have a reasonable drink , however I wouldn’t suggest any girls to attend alone as it’s very male oriented which can make a women feel a little intimated if alone …. I wasn’t I was with another male friend but I have been known to go alone to some venues but I wouldn’t to here but it’s probably that feeling in gravesend overall late of a evening tbh doesn’t mean it’s just that venue ….

Had a great night. Shisha was good quality and service was good. Great Music. Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for a fine social night out.

came down from London after this place was hyped up by a friend, it was well worth the hype! staff and bouncers were lovely and the DJ was awesome, easily better than half of the clubs i've been too in central London. the shisha lounge is worth it alone, looking forward to coming back!

Staff attitude stinks in the shisha lounge. How on the earth can you smoke a shisha but not vape 🤯 Shisha isn’t worth the price

Bouncers are awful. Clearly can’t define the difference between 18 Year olds that can’t spend money and 30+ years wearing clothes more expensive than the door takings.

I always have a great night at Blakes, the staff are warm and friendly. The music is always good and they have the best shisha.

I left my jacket inside and realised once I had left. They refused to let me back in to get it. I told them I knew where I had left it and asked if someone could get it for me, to which they said no. Rang them the next day and they told me they didn’t have it.

Uptown feel out in kent! Good music ,friendly staff and nice decor.Been here a few times and allways good night.
