Always delicious! One of my favorite spots in town to dine and recommend. Had the tuna tonight but I’ve tried many things and loved them all. Dined here again recently with excellent meals! See the attached pictures for the beef tenderloin and the scallop and tilefish entrees! 😍 this place!! Highly recommend!!

I don't see the appeal. Food presentation and plating is beautiful, however, the flavor is lacking. The decor is bleak; seems incomplete and halfway put together. The real star of the night were the drinks and bread, they were fantastic. Seems as they're always full everyday of the week, unfortunately, I don't understand why. I would recommend this place once just to say you've tried it. That said, there are much nicer restaurants that don't cost as much in GB.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary, we thought in trying something new, but then we said, why risk it on our anniversary, let's go to the place that never fails. This time we had the Curry Soup, the Sliders, the Sea Bass and the Halibut. Wow wow wow and wow! We end dinner with the Creme Bulee. The service is excellent as usual and the cocktails are always the best! After 10 years coming to this place, it is still the best restaurant of Greensboro!

This is THE restaurant in Greensboro. It is the hot spot where you will always see people you know, the food is consistently amazing, and the staff is terrific. The location is perfect and the exterior has a cool Miami vibe. Try the tuna!

So good!! Had an amazing time here, I highly highly recommend the calamari. The price is fair for the food you get! Good sized proportions, with phenomenal flavours. I cannot reccomend this place enough!

Quite possibly the best restaurant I've eaten at in GSO. Out of all the local fine dining restaurants, this one just stuck out. I dined in for my girlfriend's birthday and the occasion was made special. We started off with their appetizer special, the fried oysters. They were cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. We then each had a caesar salad. For my entree I had the Sesame Crusted Tuna because our server said it was the most popular item on their menu. I can gladly say it exceeded my expectations and I would easily get it again next time I come back. My girlfriend had the Blackended Grouper and it was phenomenal as well. They also brought out 4 mini slices of key lime pie for my girlfriends birthday to 'sweeten' the occasion. One thing that really separates this restaurant from the rest is the presentation of the dishes. All of the food came out on beautiful plates and was arranged elegantly. Will definitely be dining here again!

My husband and I absolutely love 1618! From their inventive flavors and dishes, to the craft cocktails.. this restaurant is a MUST. Their food is not only beautiful but is jam packed with all the flavor. An absolute must-visit in the triad!

Enjoyed my birthday dinner here. I felt pampered with the service, artistic style of dishes, and taste of the food. Delicious and memorable.

Pros: Food was fresh, tasty, no post bad feelings, waiters were kind except one a little too pushy/aggressive in his tone, nice salad and lemon pie was good not too sweet. Cons: Quantity of actual fish on the snapper entree and salmon was quite small. Décor, setting, and furniture inside could be improved. Reeks of alcohol. A little too pricey.

If you enjoy the ambiance of K&W Cafeteria and the noise level of a busy Waffle House, you’ll love the value of 1618 Seafood Grille. Super loud, a wobbly table, and a long wait. It was bad enough that it made our hunger disappear, we got it bagged before we ever ate the entrees. I’ve never left a restaurant before eating based on terrible ambiance acoustics until tonight. They voluntarily reduced our bill for the long wait and the undrinkable Mule.

We had a 7:15 reservation and got there a little early. They were able to take us right back. It was a little weird that we got our salads before our wines... it made for a longer wait on our actual entrées. Overall, we were happy with the service. The food portions were small for the price, and I wish there was a little more. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

The calamari appetizer and the seabass meal were amazing. Great mix of flavors. Service was ok. We had a group of 7, meals did not come out together and we had to ask twice to drink manu, and ask another waiter to get our waiter to order dessert. I would definitely go back for a special occasion. One other small note, the mirror in the women's bathroom is aged so much you cannot see yourself much at all.

This is Upscale food without the Upscale Price or Atmosphere. I felt a come as you are vibe as soon as I walked in and loved it. The Food was out of this world amazing. I love rotating menus and the spontiunity that it can bring do a dinner. I enjoyed the spacing in the restaurant. It felt like many people were inside but i also felt like i had more than enough space. Just to double back i LOVED the food. Everything we ordered was at least a 8/10 and the Calamari was a 10/10. Im talking Best Calamari i've eaten ever.

Appetizers, entrees, desserts, wine, cocktails, service, atmosphere… nothing wasn’t AMAZING! Will return next time we are in town. Great, great night.

The most overrated fine dining in Greensboro. We were excited to go back after it was redesigned and they changed their menu. That excitement dissipated when our $20 appetizer of one single prawn came out. The presentation was also ridiculous and pretentious. I ordered a $50 steak and it came out with a gaudy, tasteless huge ring around it. The food quality was decent but not exceptional. You'll get a better experience and taste at any other expensive restaurant, including their midtown location which is superior in every way.

This was my first visit and we went to their Sunday Brunch. Our waiter Eric was wonderful and he made the experience pleasant and enjoyable. The Calamari was excellent. The compound flavors were delicious. The nacho/fried tortilla with crispy pork and egg on top (forgot what it was called) was disappointing. The flavor was bland and it need something a sauce or seasoning. When coming from eating the Calamari, I expected more of a flavor combination but all in all I enjoyed the restaurant. I am excited to try the dinner. I would recommend this place.

What a wonderful experience. Birthday celebration and everyone made me feel like it was a special day. Our waitress was fabulous. In a time that now seems like no one cares about customer service this place SHINES. The atmosphere was surprisingly intimate for such an open space. Our food was delicious and presented in a beautiful fashion. Thoroughly enjoyed 1618!

1618 is one of the few true gems of the Triad. My wife & I had the best meal last evening. She commented that the seared tuna dish was the single best dish she’s ever had and has told everyone she’s spoke with as well. It was truly amazing. From the food to the service, you can’t go wrong here.

Can we give '0" stars? Food was 'eh', and by the time we got it, the ice in our glasses was totally gone, so water and an ice-tea were less than lukewarm. Service was HORRIBLE!! what LITTLE food we got was WAY pricey (flounder)!! Party of 9, so tip was inevitably included, and server knew he didn't have to do a thing. NEVER GOING BACK!! When we were done, wanted to stop at BK to eat. Two of same entree, 1 water, 1 tea - NOT worth almost $100!!!!!

This place is the very best! We had brunch here and can’t wait to come back for a fancy dinner! The food is unmatched! It’s impeccable, top tier, incredible! We loved the service, the energy, the high quality for a fair price, and the mimosas! Oh god do they have amazing mimosas! Seriously, love it here and will be back many many times. :)

Food was beyond delicious. Damian our waiter was super friendly & made us feel very welcome & safe. This was our 1st time dining out in a while because of the pandemic. All safety measures were explained & carried out and our experience was excellent! We will be back soon!

What a delightful local gem. It was rewarding to find a restaurant with such a great ambiance and delightful staff. Though scaled down from the norm, still offers a scrumptious menu. The drinks were above par, and not watered down like the usual. Deserving of 5 stars and repeat visits. A must try. Celebrating my son's birthday our server Byron was very gracious.

I had the blackened flounder and it was EXCELLENT. Worth every penny. Husband says the steak was 8 out of 10. Service was average, we had a late reservation but not sure if that was the issue. Took a while to actually get through on a Monday to get a reservation. The food was amazing and would return based on that alone.

Watch out, the portion is so generous and taste great with wasabi, you won't be able to stop eating.

In town on a work trip and found this spot. It’s very very good. This place just became my go to when I’m ever in town. Seared Tuna was one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile. Big portion and tons of flavor. Worth every penny.
