My fiancé and I spent a week here in September and it was so relaxing and magical. The place is so peaceful!! We really enjoyed the view of our room every morning and the breakfast was always so excellent. We had dinner in the hotel twice and it was perfect(their Paella is delicious!). The staff was always kind to us and they really helped us any time we needed. We are definitely coming back here!!!

This is a lovely rustic hotel close to Alcala in Tenerife, away from the noise of more popular tourists destinations but close enough to shops, bars, etc. Ideal for those who hire a car but we did not and were still able to move about easily. The rooms decor is slightly tired but charming and the overall place is within a large banana plantation. The service is very welcoming and friendly, food is lovely and the limited number of rooms for adults only means it is a very peaceful and relaxing place. Twice we had the hotel pool only for ourselves and the area is really nice. I would recommend it if you want to escape it all, but be not too far from amenities.

A small hotel, away from the high rise hotels and apartments on the coast. Our room was clean and comfortable with a private terrace and views over the banana plantation and on to the sea. Breakfast was either cooked or continental, you can also order dinner in the evening although we preferred to eat out. The small town of Alcala is a 20 minute walk away where there are a small number of bars and restaurants, all offering good food and excellent value for money. Definitely recommended, I'd come again.

Wonderful! The hotel is located in the middle of a banana plantation, which feels like you are in your own small piece of paradise. The views are spectacular. Each room has its own view of the orchard ending with the ocean. Sunsets are best seen from the room terrace. The whole place is very clean and well maintained. The staff was really welcoming and friendly, especially the chef, Sarahy, which cooks very delicious dinners and breakfasts. We've stayed at the hotel 4 nights in September and we couldn't feel more spoiled: the dinner was always accompanied by a bottle of house wine, which felt like a premium wine. The desert was always served with a shot of your choice of home made liquor (absolutely delicious was the canella/cinamon liquor). Everything they serve is home made or home grown. They have a variety of gems, from papaya, passion fruit, to banana gem. I highly recommend especially if you need to get away from the urban jungles. The ocean is at a 10 minute walk across the plantations and there are a couple of tiny black sand beaches and natural pools.

A lovely hotel, very charmingly located in the middle of a banana plantation. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere, but still in walking distance to the beach and the town of Alcala, where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants but things don't feel overly touristy. Its location in the West of Tenerife is great too, with some of the best weather of the island and short distances to some of the most beautiful spots and locations, like the Teno or Teide National Parks. The hotel is a family business with super friendly and accomodating staff as well as some free roaming animals. The breakfast selection is rather small but quality is good with a lot of homemade products. Dinner is also available if you book it in the morning, but we only did that on arrival day. The rooms are relatively basic, but fine for the price range. A big highlight are the huge balconies, which give an amazing view over the bananas, the ocean and the island of La Gomera, while being quiet and private.

Okay hotel apart from the breakfast and dinner. If you are not the first one at breakfast you get cold left overs if even those. Same with dinner. It's served cold if you are not an early eater. Seem like staff is always in a hurry to go home. And there is an one glass wine policy at the dinner. If you want an extra glass you have to beg for it.

Maybe November is a bit off-season but found this place could do with a bit of TLC. Because of limited availability, had to go for the superior room, which wasn't very superior. Being in a banana field does sound great but remember this is an industrial crop and you're in the middle of it. There was the whiff of fertiliser at times, which combined with the very strong chemicals they use to clean the room must not be very good for your health. Breakfast was okay although if you get there early you get yesterday's fruit. Very good private terrace which you have to yourself with a great view of Gomera. The pool is not heated and doesn't look anything like the pictures. My greatest disappointed was that I didn't even get a banana! Not a horrible place to stay at all but three stars is probably a fair rating.

The hotel is in the middle of a banana plantation with cosy and nice decorated rooms. A nice terrace is facing the ocean and the top of the trees. Is a very quiet place where you can bound with the nature. There is also a pool, but I did not have time to use it. Breakfast is great, with fresh juice and home made marmelade from fruits growed there. I definitely recomend the place for a unique experience!

Accommodation in a middle of a banana plantation :-) Only 14 rooms. The staff is really nice and they make breakfast for the guests. Breakfast is self-service, there is a great variety of food. Clean rooms nice ambience.

An idyllic setting, this is the ideal place to stay for those looking for peace and tranquility in an unspoilt part of the beautiful coastline of Tenerife. Lovely walks along the coastal path lead you to restaurants in either direction and it’s approximately 12 km to Los Gigantes with its bustling port and restaurants. So refreshing to stay somewhere so peaceful with beautiful birdsong. The breakfasts are varied and tasty and a match for any 5 star hotel. The evening meals are home cooked Spanish dishes which you can order after breakfast if you wish and are reasonably priced. A small, family run hotel that we’d recommend to anyone who wants a unique experience, away from the maddening crowds.
