All of these reviews and not one person has mentioned the French fries. They are the best fries I’ve ever had in my entire existence. I’ve traveled to many places and tried foods from everywhere and no place has ever had the perfect French fry until I came here. Don’t think I’m exaggerating, try them for yourself and reply to my review. They will change your entire perspective on the French fry. Perfect crunch on the outside and the texture is amazing. I had them with the steak bearnaise. They blew my mind!

Excellent place in antigua. Rooftop dining. Service was impeccable. Food very good as well.

The view and service are great. The food is good but quite expensive for the taste. The crepe was not really french and overall it was more good local cuisine rather than french food. It's still worth the experience and for a special occasion is a nice place to go.

Hands down the best place to eat in Antigua. It's pricey but totally worth it. Servings are generously sized so no complaints about that. Make sure to make a reservation ahead to get a nice view.

Amazing experience. The service was beyond any other restaurant I have ever been too. The view on the rooftop was gorgeous. We ordered the steak bearnaise. The steak was cook just how I like it and the portion was generous. I'm not a fan of artichokes but their artichoke as delicious. Highly recommend this place if you come to Antigua. The servers were so attentive bits like they were reading our minds.

Visit Tartines, dont even bother having dinner anywhere else. We ordered the Shrimp w Wine Sauce and the Steak de Paris. Simply the best shrimp I have ever had, huge, delicious, and full of flavor. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sauce just lifted and complemented the entire flavir, the vegetables on both dishes were the perfect side along with the fries. The owners of the restaurant were kind enough to provide some time to discuss the ingredients that make up the shrimp sauce, unafraid of sharing, and full of excitement.

I've traveled to Antigua 5 times, and this meal is definitely one of the most memorable. I had the restaurant to myself tonight which also made me sad. So, I'm in here telling all of you to please visit and enjoy a beautiful and delicious meal with some amazing views!

Exceptional French cuisine. We dined here today, March 10, 2023. Arugula salad with poached pear, Gorgonzola, goat cheese, and walnuts. Superb! Dopa del día was zucchini with basil oil. Also superb. Artichoke hearts with goat cheese and basil. Exceptional! We drank a vino blanco of carmenere and sauvignon blanc grapes. BWAAHHH! Wonderful. Unfortunately the onion soup must have been prepared by an apprentice. The onions were not browned properly so the resulting soup was very disappointing. We plan to return every day until we depart on March 12.

Wonderful service great food...large portions with a very romantic roof top terrace. Here it's all about the streak...the one with bearnaise sauce is especially good. It is right next Antigua's central park so it is easy to find and is one of the best restaurants in town.

This restaurant was a fantastic surprise... best terrance & view in Antigua! The staff were extremely friendly & very knowledgeable of the food & wine. The chef/owner was a true delightfully nice man. We came for a quick drink & ended up having a great bottle of red wine and some entries. We will be back soon! We would highly recommed this excellent restaurant ... you will not be disappointed!! Sincerely, Nancy & Julio your Canadian friends

Gorgeous restaurant and we don’t usually go for French! You come here for the views and the terrace upstairs is small so definitely make a reservation. Had the gnocchi and a salad which was supreme.

Absolutely breathtaking views of ruins when you sit outside, unmatched kind service with stellar attention to detail, and great food. They worked with my husband to create an incredibly romantic anniversary dinner that I’ll never forget. They blanketed the table and ground with rose petals, and provided a gorgeous bouquet and their best servers. I recommend stopping in if you like high quality French food and want to enjoy historic views — just look at the photos.

The only thing missing was a view of the ruins because we had an inside table but the food was outstanding!!

A great steak bearnaise, awesome view, and super lovely people. I couldn't finish my steak and asked for something to put it in so I could feed a street dog. The waiter asked if I wanted to add it to the scraps that they feed to the dogs nightly which really touched my heart. Kudos to these kind people!

Visiting Antigua with a group of friends, we found the restaurant by mistake. I met the owner and he was very nice, also a couple of customers that were leaving at that time, told us that they knew the chef from Guatemala City and now were following him to Antigua. They were very nice to accommodate us in the terrace and I have to say that the service and the food were excellent!!! Do not hesitate to visit Tartines, you will not be disappointed. We will always remember our diner experience at Tartines. Thank you!!!

Delicious dinner with a beautiful view of the ruins. I loved how intimate this restaurant is, the owner was very welcoming, service was excellent. I got their steak and fries, their house salad and brown dessert. So good! Probably my favorite meal out of all the ones I had in Antigua over the course of 6 days.

Best restaurant I have been this year...and not only in Antigua! The owner/chef Jean-Francois is very talented and also very nice and humble. He comes to meet every client and check to make sure we are happy with his cuisine. And yes, we all are! You just hear people say 'fabulous!, spectacular!, delicious! Amazing! and so on'. We would have liked to try everything but our budget was quite limited. The fish with sauce of the day was on the the highlight, as well as the desert, the fruit mouse! Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it!

Incredible French cuisine! Tartin is one of those places where it makes you sad not to be able to order absolutely all the options on the menu! Totally recommended!

Had the crepe, it was huge and awesome. The side of fries were also very large. My best friend got the panini. We both ordered lemonade with sparkling water. Total was about $250q.

This is a great place.we sat on the terrace and viewed the old city ruins in the back. Feels like you are being transferred back in time. Food was very good. We had hummus, salad with pears and goat cheese, French onion soup and vegetarian lasaña. All very tasty. Nice wine list. Great service from a friendly staff.

Best meal of our entire trip in Guatemala- HANDS DOWN! The crepe was a great starter! The steak was so tender with the perfect pepper sauce. Dipping those fries in that sauce oh my gosh. The salmon was perfect too. Our total price was around $90 dollars. Killer price for what we had.

The food was really good, fresh and prepared when we ordered, wide variety of wines and brilliant service - no issue to prepare something different. And the view from the terrace amazing!

I had a lovely dinner here. The view is of the ruins and it’s quiet lovely. The food was delicious. I ordered the duck, sparkling water (Perrier), and Cousiño Macul Cabernet Sauvignon, and for dessert I ordered a delicious fruit mousse. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a delicious meal and a warm ambiance.

👍👍 A must-see and do in Guatemala. This is not only a restaurant but also a museum and garden. The food is phenomenal. The views from all angles of this large location are amazing. If there is a long wait to eat, don't worry. It takes about an hour to walk the property and enjoy what it has to offer.

👍👍 We love Luna de Miel and have come here three times on three separate visits to Antigua- we live in the capital. My husband has ordered the Chipotle twice, and the Tejana. I’ve had the Creciente, Parisina, and I honestly can’t remember the first one I ordered a couple years ago, but they’ve all been...
