Despite its small size, the cozy and comfortable ambiance adds to the overall charm of the place. The moment you step in, you're welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff who are genuinely passionate about their craft. The coffee at La Parada is simply exceptional. Each cup is meticulously brewed, showcasing the rich flavors and aromas of the beans. Whether you prefer an espresso, cappuccino, or pour-over, their baristas deliver perfection in every sip. The intimate setting of La Parada allows for a relaxing and peaceful experience. It's an ideal spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, where you can sit back, unwind, and savor your coffee in tranquility. Additionally, the ambiance is tastefully decorated, making it an excellent place to capture those Instagram-worthy moments. The only downside might be the limited seating capacity, which can get crowded during peak hours. However, the overall experience compensates for this minor inconvenience. For coffee lovers visiting Antigua Guatemala, "La Parada" is an absolute must-visit. From the top-notch coffee to the welcoming staff and cozy ambiance, it ticks all the boxes for a delightful coffee outing. If you're seeking an authentic and memorable coffee experience, make sure to put La Parada on your list - you won't be disappointed!

Nice little café with great wifi and affordable drinks. You can sit and work for an afternoon without breaking the bank when you buy a treat every hour or so. They also have a bathroom, if you’re there for a long work session. Baristas are helpful and speedy. Highly recommend the hot chocolate!

On my quest for the best coffees in Antigua I came here upon recommendation of the Aria coffee roasters. They have a fantastic espresso. Single for 10 quetzals, (double for 15) and so far in Antigua this is the absolute best value for money. The café interior is no frills and down to earth. The decor is oriented a bit toward the 50’s Americana with their hangings metal signs and stupid coffee jokes and rustic wooden Antigua heritage look.. When I came in Taylor Swift was playing. They even have good taste in music! I love it! It is refreshing, considering all the many coffee places in Antigua trying their best to be third wave, and then this coffee shop just presents you with a perfect cup of espresso, with coffee from huehuetenango, roasted locally in Antigua and it is just wow! An explosion of flavours and quite a kick. Medium roasted of course, not bitter, round mouthfeel with some nice acidity. I like! They also sell Antigua cerveza for later in the day.

A fantastic little shop with great sandwiches and of course great coffee. Angle your seat right and enjoy the lights from the church across the road or people watch from a discrete distance. The staff were cheerful and charming for someone with my limited Spanish. They quickly corrected me when I mistook American dollars for Quetzales and I struggle to stop after only one of their delicious ham, mozzarella croissants that are served with the cheese freshly melted before the sandwich melts in your mouth. I've enjoyed other great sandwiches with guacamole and avocado on ciabatta bread but this is my favourite. Overall, a great value, great location, and great atmosphere.

Charming little coffee spot off La Merced Park. Seriously delicious coffee. Don't miss the pastry and sandwiches. Benches bookend the entrance and provide a perfect view of the park.

I went here multiple times a day on my recent trip to Antigua 😅 delicious lattes, fresh croissants, and great people! Cute little bench at the door to chill and people watch. Wonderful conversations with new friends. Prices are very fair! 10/10.

Casual kind of cafe, not much on aesthetics but my latte was delicious. There are definitely cuter & more refined specialty coffee shops in Antigua but the prices here are inexpensive, they have great coffee and speedy, kind service!

Good food and coffee for a reasonable price. Although they have Wi-Fi working on the place — good enough to have meetings, it’s not laptop friendly as no outlets are available. So if you need to have a quick bite and/or a quick meeting while having coffee it’s a good place to go.

Very very very nice coffee! We had two double cappuccino in a small take away cup and it was delicious and pretty! (Latte art makes your coffee taste so good! It’s not just the taste, the eye is important too!) highly recommend this place for coffee!

Best value for money coffee in town!! Nice staff, excellent cappuccino and a good local atmosphere. We’ve tested several (good) café places in Antigua and this was our favourite!

Possibly the best coffee we had on our trip around Central America - and at very reasonable prices too! ☕️ Didn’t try the sandwiches as we had breakfast included in our hotel but I’d be lying if I said they didn’t call out to me every time we were grabbing coffee! Solid wifi here too!

Finally good quality no-frills café in Antigua. It's a small place with limited seating, but good location, and a great place to grab a tasty espresso.

Probably the best coffee in Antigua! Frequented by locals and tourists alike, definitely check it out while you're in Antigua

Asked for mask despite ordering takeout. Many alternatives around without rude staff. Avoid this place.

The coffee is really good at the best price. You can get worse coffee for a higher price. You can't go wrong with this coffee... Maybe it's not the best but really close. Quality service and clean place. Alfajores not the best.

A cute little cafe overlooking the courtyard of the church! I stopped in here to grab a quick drink and a snack, and wasn’t disappointed. Along with all of their coffee related drinks, they also had a good selection of iced teas and other drinks. They also have a nice selection of pastries, and I enjoyed the brownie I had with my tea. Highly recommend to check it out!

I’m so happy I found this place in Antigua. I stopped by for a cappuccino which was really cheap compared to other cafe’s in the area. These are the first croissants and baguettes I’ve had in Guatemala that remind me of home. The croissants were flaky and smelled amazing and the baguettes were crispy! Stop by for some nice snacks and a coffee
