We came here to celebrate my friend's 26th birthday party. It was a small crowd, but then again he didn't trust many people. He'd always been that way, as long as I'd known him - he kept a tight circle and only those clever enough to maneuver through his hoops would be honoured with his friendship. Nonetheless, we started with three soups: tripe, chicken, and lentil (in a pumpkin base), all paired with a delicious bread course featuring fresh loaves with an addictive softness. This was followed by what can only be described as some kind of monstrous meat feast (in a good way). Piles of chips served next to steak, chicken, sausage, little sausage, and a homemade country style potato dish. Alongside this was a rack of pork ribs - these were served with some kind of orange sauce underneath that was simply scrumptious. After such a feast we begged for our papanasi to-go, a fact that was loudly re-announced by our waitress to the rest of the diners and the kitchen and met with raucous laughter. Such humiliation should not go unrewarded - five stars.

They have good food (big portions!), a very nice venue, and even English menu, but waiting times are traditionally very long, and prices on the check don't always match what you ordered from that menu. Still probably the best place to eat in Hațeg. We had sweets - I recommend clătită (pancake) de chef.

Very nice terrace with trees and a lot of green plants. I liked the relaxed atmosphere, the natural green decor and the polite waiter. The food was medium, not bad but neither good. Not very expensive, but again the food wasn't very tasty.

Pleasantly surprised! A quaint spot fairly close to the city center serving hearty food, just like my mamma used to make. In spite of the somewhat slow service, the food was worth the wait. The soups were honestly some of the best we've tasted, honoring some of Romania's most popular dishes. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff is soooo welcoming in this place! The dishes were super delicious too. It’s a private location, off street, in a cute yard. The dishes we had reminded us of the taste of grandma’s food. We would gladly return here, which we really wanted, but unfortunately they close early (1-pm) - possibly due to the strict pandemic regulations in Romania.

Good food and a very relaxing atmosphere. Located in the city center right next to a park. The prices are low compared to other similar venues and the serving is quite fast. We ate multiple times here in various days and the feedback is still the same. They are also cat friendly and have some cats around so if you like cats, bring in some food :)

Fantastic place to eat. The waiters were very helpful, prompt and polite. The food was delicious and of high quality. The pricing is cheap. Bathrooms are well clean and well maintained. I’d definitely visit again.

Excellent food and service! Beautiful and quiet place to have a meal (i mean, without loud music background) and talk to friends. It takes about 40-50 min until they bring the food, but it's all fresh cooked, and they tell you this detail right from the begining. Wiil come back any time we'll pass the city!

The food is really good! We were told from the beginning that the food will arrive in 40 minutes and we decided to stay anytime. Nice place, good food and extremely kind people!

The food is great! The personnel are more concerned about their own welfare than that of their clients. The establishment decided to not care about the well being of their clients. We were sweating our lives inside. The one air conditioner that worked was insufficient and the fan that was working was directed to the employees!

Delicious food and a cool garden atmosphere! The food is very tasty and all home made. We had several main courses during few days (tochitura, snitzel, pizza, salad, tigaie) and desert (clatita ana lugojana) and all were sooo delicious The lemonade is made with natural ingredients and the one with pine syrup is the best! The serving is fast and the waitresses are sociable and polite, so they deserve a nice tip. The ambient is within a green and relaxing garden The prices are accessible and the portions are generous They have a cute black cat around that you can feed if you love cats! ;)
