Their website is never correctly updated for open times. You can not rely on what Google tells you. They also do not cater much to what the surrounding area needs of a doctor. Refusing things as simple as pap tests and throat checks. They've also taken a couple extra days off after boxing day despite the current rise of illnesses plaguing Halifax and have themselves listed as open with no connective phone lines to confirm this, meaning, you have to drive to find out. Very unprofessional and very obvious that they truly do not care.

I would give it (-) points if I could. This office was really good 3 years ago. Now the staff is rude and they DON'T EVEN PICK UP THE PHONE!!!! I've been trying for days to call more than 15times a day and no answer! My mom as well. If we cant get to our family doctors we have to fill up the ER and take away from people that really need the ER. PICK UP YOUR DAMAN PHONE!!!!!! you don't need a degree for that.

This place just sucks! I called at noon today and got an automated response telling me to check MediMap.ca (never heard of it) which I promptly did. It said they were open till 4:00 pm. So I drove there only to find a lady hanging a sign on the door saying they had to close unexpectedly. Just before a long weekend? Strange...! I asked her where i should go and she said "Joe Howe location". So I drove there and guess what? They were also closed unexpectedly! Seeing a pattern? The best part...she tried to send me back to the Herring Cove location. My family doctor is about as reliable as carpentry sub-contractor so I has no choice but to try and use these clinics! Gave up and went home...condition remains untreated.

I am not sure why Google still says it’s a walk-in clinic, because it is not anymore. They made it a duty to become a difficult clinic ever since Covid. They sent me to the emergency clinic once because they were afraid I had COVID and the doctor in the emergency room told me they shouldn’t just send everyone to the emergency room because they are afraid they might have COVID. And mind you, I did not have any symptoms! I just had a mild infection in my throat. All the doctor did was look at it and prescribe antibiotics and I was fine. They tell you to book an appointment and yet they don’t pick up the phone when you call. One day I was in so much pain that I went anyways and the receptionist just said I couldn’t see a doctor without an appointment and that they were closing so they couldn’t help me. Basically, me being in pain wasn’t any of their concerns. I thought doctors cared about other people’s well-being. I guess I was wrong! I’ve tried to give them a few chances because that’s the clinic that is the closest from my house, but trying to see a physician there is a waste of time. You might as well go elsewhere.

I have been calling non stop just hitting redial for the past four business days during their hours and I have not once had that phone answered ! And you can't leave a voicemail... there is no email.... and I live an hour away so I can't just "drop in" I have been with this dr for YEARS and he's always very accommodating as far as getting me in and his secretary Wanda is fabulous so I'm wondering if there was a change over and staff or something this is much lower than the quality of care they usually provide.... disappointing

Phone line goes to “no longer in service” so have to drive to the clinic to see what’s going on. Sign on the door says closed for several weeks. Why they can’t manage their phone line to include this information is mind boggling.

I have been a patient of this clinic since 2009. Dr. P is a great listener and provides solutions rather than bandaid fixes. He is incredibly empathetic physician, and I hope he is around for many years to come.

Has signage claiming it's a walk-in, but then was told I'd need to book an appointment. Ok, that's a little annoying, but the receptionist says she can book me in on the next day or so. Great! But I have to leave and... call to make an appointment... Umm, ok... So I do, I call then maybe an hour later and no answer, I call back 4 additional times over an hour period. Finally the receptionist answers and says she can only book me in for next week. Very strange set up, feels like they don't care here

Solutions is no longer a walkin clinic so don't go there. They are very unprofessional and rude. I'd find another place to go.

I had a great experience at this clinic. The on-line information is confusing as Google has wrong times and it's not a traditional walk-in. You need to book an appointment. This change was necessary during the height of the pandemic as people were lying on the floor waiting. I went early in the morning and got an appointment the next day. I prefer this to waiting outside in the cold when I'm not well. Trinity was kind & efficient. I waited only 10 minutes before the doctor saw me. He asked the right questions & listened to my responses. Wanda was also friendly and efficient. I feel lucky to have found them.

The sign outside the door includes Walk Ins but they don't actually accept walk ins!! I suggest you change the sign or take it down. Very unacceptable attitude from receptionist.

Been calling every day since last week from the time they open till they close and she will not pick up the phone i think its time for a new Receptionist

Was not open within the hours they have posted. The lady at the front just kind of giggled at us and said they were closed and didn’t even give us their actual hours or any other info for us to continue with them or get any help.

    1. Best part, no queue hassles; I have always called and got the apt. 2. Despite scheduled appointment, they take 10-15mins late, and then Dr. takes another 10-15mins to see you!! 3. They have walk-in but never takes regardless. I wonder why they don't take that sign down. 4. Not sure, if they purposely gives a alot after 3 days; it's been the same response since eyears

😠 Absolutely atrocious medical care. My partner was experiencing extreme chest pains all night. 811 advised not to go to the ER and to be seen by a doctor within 12 hours. My partner showed up at this location 1 hour before opening, and still waited 4 hours to be seen by a doctor. This alone, while fr...

😠 Went here because I was in excruciating pain that I was pretty sure was a bad uti. The doctor didn’t believe me, said I was most likely fine just tummy trouble but would do a test anyway. I ended up going to the hospital because it turned into a kidney infection and a week later they called me to sa...

😠 The worst medical experience I have ever had. The doctor wrote me off as anxious before even checking my vitals. 👍 Health care in Canada is like a communist bread line, if you get in line early enough, you may get bread. In order to see a doctor here at the walk-in clinic, you have to line up at 7:00 a.m. If you do manage to get in, some of the doctors here are pretty good. I've had some really good experience...

😠 Despite what it says online this is no longer a walk in clinic. I read the reviews prior to coming to the clinic and I can assure everything that is stated with one star is accurate.
