I have been wanting to try this spot out for a while and was not at all disappointed yesterday when my friend and I went in for lunch. If you're looking for a good home style cooked meal, I suggest you head over and try it. The portion sizes were plentiful, the food was hot and delicious and came fairly quickly. I'm obsessed with their French fries and I'm looking forward to going back to try something new. Both servers on were friendly and welcoming. I will say, one server was quite a bit more attentive to my table than our actual server, BUT they were both eextremely pleasant and seemed to work well together, so I have no service complaints at all. The restaurant itself was cozy, welcoming and very clean 🤗

I will never stop eating here so long as they keep up the good work! The service is amazing and the food is THE BEST around, seriously. It's not easy to find somewhere easily accessible, with good prices AND almost everything is or can be made gluten free, generally at NO EXTRA COST! Since being diagnosed with celiac disease, this is my one and only go-to place! Please support them, we need them to stick around! Also, it never hurts to tip 😜

It was our first time here and we love their food! I like that their restaurant is full of sunshine, which makes my day! We got egg Benedict and Cobb salad. I am a big fan of Cobb salad, couldn’t find it very often in Halifax but they did great on the Cobb salad! The chicken was so tender, the avocado and lettuce was fresh, the bacon was good! I also love the dressing of the salad, which was not too heavy and tasty. My bf also loves his egg Benedict! The servers were super friendly and nice here! Definitely will go back sometimes!

We had a burger, and chicken + waffles. Both were very good! I had chicken and waffles. The fried chicken was very crispy and yummy. The shedded potato fries and coleslaw looked great and tasted amazing! My friend had the burger and was very impressed too. We had a chocolate shake! We weren't very hungry after our meals, but the milkshakes looked really good when I saw them being served to other customers! Our server suggested we split a milkshake and she would give us two glasses. That half shake was still a pretty big portion! The milk shakes were great too! The staff were all genuine. You could tell our server was proud of the food she was serving. When she answered our questions, she was eager to describe the menu items. An eagerness that every restaurant owner would want their staff to have. This was a bright cheerful restaurant! Lots of room and a local diner feel. Oh BTW! The bathrooms were nicely done and very clean!

Went for dinner and had a wonderful experience. I really liked the whole design and space poster. Also, they're known for Gluten Free choices and didn't disappoint me. Definitely try fried chicken and mash potatoes.

Randomly had a suggestion to follow this place on Instagram, and so glad I did! From the moment you walk in the door you get a friendly greeting if not from the wait staff, from the Chef’s themselves poking their heads out of the kitchen. The atmosphere was bright, very clean and comfortable, and I love the nostalgic retro vibes and old school jams. It’s so hard going out to eat when you are strictly gluten free, and there are very few places that offer such a wide array of gluten free options who also pay attention to cross contamination! Now on to the food … For what we ordered … by far the best gluten free wise in the city we’ve had!! And to top it all off … very reasonably priced. Today was their 1 year Anniversary in business and there were only a few customers inside at what I would think should have been a busy time. I just want to help get the word out so everyone knows how all around great they are, because I hope they stick around for a really long time! I’ll definitely be a return customer! Chef’s Kiss 😘👌🏼

This is the first place I have gone since being diagnosed with Celiac two months ago where I have felt safe about the experience and excited to return to. I had the chicken burger, sweet potato fries, and some desserts and everything was perfect. This was the first gluten free burger bun I have had that was exactly what I wanted. There are so many more items on the menu I am excited to try on my next visit - they do their whole menu gluten free! The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly, the prices are great, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Thank you for making my recently shrinking world feel a bit bigger!

Friendly waitresses and amazing food. I always wanted to try chicken and waffles and this place did not disappoint. 3/4 of us ordered them and they were a hit! The kids also enjoyed their root beer floats with their brunch! So much more to try on the menu. We will be back!

Second time eating here and today I got the chicken and waffles. One of the best restaurant meals I've ever eaten. Chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. Best coleslaw I've ever had, hands down. Perfection. Love that everything can be gluten free. Last time we dined in & all the staff were so friendly and the decor is super fun.

Kind and patient service, even with us being a fairly large group with small children. The vibe is so cute, and cozy. The food was really yummy, although the hollandaise was a bit more vinegary than I'm used to, but still great!

Beautiful spot, diner atmosphere with some modern/sci-fi vibes, but the best part by a mile is their ENTIRE MENU is safe for me with celiac disease. I came for burger week and the mushrol. Swiss burger blew my mind but it's the incredible service and the rest of the menu that will have me coming back!

I loved this place! I had the deep fried haddock and home made fries and it was delicious. The staff are super-friendly and the space is adorable. Check out this down-to-earth spot and grab a drink too. ;-)

The food is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. I've never once been disappointed with anything there. My wife is celiac so it's great to have a place so close that does such a good job at accommodating that. Their prices are very reasonable and I've never not left completely full.

The food looked amazing but it was so dry and bland. I got the chicken and waffles and was so excited when I seen how amazing they looked but the hash browns ended up being covered in honey and same with the coleslaw. The chicken was so dry and literally had no flavour. I actually couldn’t eat it

Great atmosphere, bright, clean restaurant. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was great. We had pan fried haddock, Ruben, fries and Sheppard's pie. Everything was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The fish was fresh. Not a thing to complain about. Great vegan gravy. Kid friendly.

Top shelf! In house Smoked Meat Ruben was amazing. The hand cut fries are thick and crispy and pair with the truly delicious vegan gravy perfectly. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection and the Sheppard's pie (cottage pie) was beautiful in its simplicity. So glad to have you in Fairview.

Easy Street is our go to place. The food has been reliably gluten free. The menu offers something that most of our friends and family will enjoy. 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly, they aim to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. My partner and I are hooked on the breakfast sandwiches, they're extra delicious!

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
