Phenomenal artisan pizza. This place is one of those instant favorites for me - perfect crust, dense toppings - but it's a pizza you can eat without feeling like you're bloated and dying 10 minutes later. I highly recommend getting a Caesar salad as well - classic style, no bacon - croutons are awesome, dressing is authentic and you can taste that it's made in house. I couldn't pick a favorite pizza, but the fanny was the only one I got a picture of before demolishing several pieces. Great for date night in (or eat-in - it looks like a nice little spot to chill out with a very open kitchen), a pie to rival Morris East in quality. If you've ever ordered from an artisan pizzeria before or have been other places with a similar set up, you'll be right at home with some of the standard choices - classic, really great ingredients. Each pizza was actually larger than I expected, 6 slices - I'm 220lbs and could probably eat 4 comfortably and save the rest for another meal, but given the proper circumstances could also eat a whole pie in one sitting. If you're ordering for a party of people I'd say you can very likely do something like one pizza per 1.5 people!

Very good artisan pizza place, real proper thin crust which I absolutely prefer. Clean, fresh interior, straightforward simple menu; they also sell authentic Italian goods and wine. Overall a solid effort and I can see why this restaurant is ranked as one of the best pizzas in town.

This is the best pizza in Halifax. The owner shows true ability, understanding of flavour, and craftsmanship in the pies. As someone who is not native to Nova Scotia the one thing I’ve missed the most is really good pizza. This place finally fills that missing slice.

We don't eat pizza often, but when we do, Lou Pécou is our new spot. Their crust is baked to perfection and is light, thin, and shape holding. Their toppings are simple and delicious. Love that they have natural wine options on the menu as well. Our server was a gem and even teamed up with a line cook to sing happy birthday to my partner. A birthday dinner to remember.

This is an absolute hidden gem in HRM. We have literally had pizza from and at every establishment in Halifax County and this is the very best. Most restaurants have a person who cooks pizza but here you find a true chef. It takes a real French chef to skillfully blend such wonderful fresh ingredients and complex flavours and to prepare food with such care and imagination. And not only is the pizza fantastic but from freshly made soups to home baked cookies to a clementine dessert that will blow your mind, this is fine dining served in a simple setting. The service is friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and warm. I would give this restaurant a 100 out of 5 stars if possible. Always the highlight of my week to finish the evening with a delicious pizza and ice cold beer. Did I mention the desserts?😊😊😊

This place is amazing! Went here on a field trip with my son and his class. I have a gluten allergy and I felt very safe. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the staff was amazing. Pictured is 2 slices of the 6 that were in my gluten free pizza (that is a dinner plate). The best crust I've had in a VERY long time.

This was a pleasant surprise. We used to go by for our early morning or late night walks in the neighborhood. The food - thin crusted pizza - is done tastefully with different toppings that will work for vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The service is excellent. The place is busy. We would go back. The place does an amazing job with takeouts
