I cannot say enough good things about Look Ho Ho. The perfect blend of friendly service and top-quality food keeps me coming back as a loyal customer. I've never had a single bad meal here, and their egg rolls are simply amazing. It's the only Chinese food place that has ever truly won me over. Their food is quality, the price is reasonable, and the serving sizes are plentiful. All around, an incredible restaurant that represents the best of what Halifax and the Maritimes has to offer.

Food was awesome. The Chop Suey was very unique and delicious with sprouts, beef and vegetables in a yummy sauce. Bough a half L wine for a reasonable price. My kid enjoyed the food. All together it was a good experience.

I will not go anywhere else for my Chinese Food. I travel almost an hour and a half to eat here! Been dining here since the early 90's. Food is hot, fresh and delicious. Staff is extremely friendly. I highly recommend Look Ho Ho. My favorite dish is General Tao Chicken.

This has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant for 30 years! After a fire and change of ownership, I am so happy this place hasn't changed much. I like my combo plate C6, and my food was fresh and delicious, as always. As for portion sizes...my friends ordered a combo plate C2, and thier portions were bigger than mine for less money which was disappointing. I paid more for spare ribs, I deserve the same sized portions. Not less food in the same sized container. The egg rolls are still the best in Halifax though!

My father and I went to Look Ho Ho for the lunch special. We chose our seats and the waitress brought us the lunch menus and left us to decide. We sat for awhile waiting for one of the two servers to take our order and eventually had to get their attention as they did not come to the table on their own. We ordered from the lunch menu and the waitress looked at her watch and told us the lunch specials ended as it was 2:40 even though we were waiting to be served since before the specials would have ended. She basically said too bad and refused to honor the price. All in all the food was okay, but the service was awful. I would never recommend.

Chicken balls sorta dry. But very cheap and the portions are crazy. Everything has a lot of sodium. the wonton soup is fire though. Good if you want leftovers for the next 5 days. Dont order alcohol here though they do not know how to make a basic cocktail lol. Our server was quite friendly. The atmosphere would have been way better if they turned off the fluorescent overhead lights and just stuck with the side lights. Food comes incredibly quick.

For the price, this is one of the worst "Chinese" restaurants I've ever been to. The staff are decent, no issues at all with them, so hopefully noone who works there is going to get super offended over my review. The issue is the food. It is NOT good. Even eating in the dining room and receiving food straight from the kitchen doesn't help. The ginger beef was tough and overcooked, the chicken fried rice was dry whilst the chicken bits were greasy, the chow mein tasted like dish soap........ Just zero redeeming qualities when it comes to the slop this place serves. (And charges a premium for I might add) Perhaps my being from out west has led me to having unreasonable expectations or something? I'm not sure... All I know is that I've never had "Chinese food" this bad in my entire life. (And I've eaten cat burgers at the Grade A restaurant in downtown Vancouver) In my humble opinion, stay away from Look Ho Ho if you want tasty food and a pleasant dining experience.

Great Chinese food here overall, the beef fried rice is good, beef and broccoli and egg rolls were a hit, I did find the sweet and sour chicken a little dry. Staff were good, the power was out when I arrived for pick up and she could still do the transaction. Definitely a solid 8.5 or 9/10 overall
