We were group of 7 people and we came around 8.15 pm, there were two girl staff working and we ordered multiple burritos and staff did not even care about our instruction. We told them to grill our burritos well done but they didn't listened. All buried were cold . We informed them to grill it extra extra as grills in store wasn't powerful or set as law heat. Didn't even bother to grill it at least hot food . They served cold wraps. Disgusting service. Never had this kind of service in my life. Wouldn't recommend to come at closing time. Overall staff needs proper training from one of the senior manager . Ruined our sunday night. 👎👎👎

The large burrito bowl makes a light meal for two or a meal and a half for one for a fair price. When I go to habaneros, I always get the large burrito bowl with pork carnitas to share. You’re also able to choose the type or rice and toppings that go with your dish and even the type of sauce. Despite being a fast food chain, the burrito bowl is tasty and you can make it your own by adding in toppings to your liking.

First visit in the last few years and this place has gone way down in quality. It's definitely the server's fault that the food was awful. I ordered a special burrito bowl with Jakarta beef. The server started to make my bowl and realized that the beef wasn't even ready to serve after she had spooned out the rice. Then she proceeded to get the meat and microwave it while I watched the rice cool on the counter. She scooped out beans and then after a two minutes she dumped the meat all in one corner of the container. She then started on the toppings. Each one was a struggle to get what used to be the normal amount of toppings; all were piled in almost discreet sections. Once she was done, the container was significantly emptier than it normal. Once I got home to eat it, I discovered that nothing was hot. The rice and beans were both ice cold and the meat, when I found it, wasn't much warmer. I'd like this try Habanero's again but I definitely won't be going back to this location.

Manager was very rude. Tried to charge extra for literally everything. The black beans weren’t even cooked and the chicken was hard as a rock. Ended up returning the food just to find out the manager can’t even issue a refund properly. Def not going there for a while

The smells that mix together as soon as you enter told me this place would be awesome, and it was. I ended up getting what I could've sworn was the biggest burrito in history. As well as some really good nachos. Would highly recommend.

WARNING: Visit this place at your own risk, I ordered burrito bowl & quesadillas trust me had never tasted like this before and ended up throwing out. Beans & vegetables are not fresh. All sauces are awful. Service is terrible. Will definitely make a video and post it on social media to save people money and life. Just Horrible place and food😡

The beans were not even cooked! We were biting into stones at some point. Bones in my chicken and had to spit out chunks of it. We complained to the manager and he was in denial. He gave us our refund and the machine had exceeded the refund limit. He payed us in cash instead. Very unorganised!

Started off with serving us cold food with very undercooked beans and chicken. Then the manager made the hiccup ten times worse by showing no courtesy and respect. Either shut down the joint or have better oversight of the food quality and staff.

Came here with my family on our last day in Halifax, where we had a good and inexpensive lunch. I really liked my vegetarian burrito with guacamole, which came with chips, salsa, and a drink as I ordered a combo. Although this is not a typical Mexican place, something they themselves admit, I enjoyed my meal a lot, and I say this as someone who loves Mexican food.

Great Taste and the Jumbo Burrito is a Beast!

Do not come here if you are wanting actual Mexican food! Never have I been so disappointed. The queso seriously looks like velveta, and tastes even worse. The burritos are fairly mid, but the “spicy” option, is no where near spicy. This is coming from someone who can hardly eat a jalapeño. Never going again. The chips were cold & the guacamole seemed like mashed avocado. It was funny as if it was watered down.

I really like this location of Habaneros! I’ve been there many times before the pandemic, and I always had a good time there. Today we ordered 3 tacos, a burrito, and 2 quesadillas. The food was great, the price was decent, and the portions were big!! Even their tacos were like 3 small burritos lol I especially love their chicken quesadilla, burritos, carrots pickled, and mango sour cream. Yummy! Definitely will order food from them again.

The burrito bowl was nothing like I've tasted before. They have a huge selection of rice, veggies, meat, salsas and sauces. They make sure for the amount paying that it's loaded well and you're full when done eating.

I was very excited to realize there was one of these near my work so I could go on my lunch, but it was just ok in the end. You always know there is a good food place when you see large lineups and this place had a large, and very slow moving lineup. Not sure if maybe the staff could have streamlined things a bit better to keep things moving along. I ordered a chicken curry bowl and wasn’t at all impressed with the chicken. Almost inedible. The rest of the ingredients were top shelf though, and I did generally enjoy the food. My friend gets the quesadillas and she loves them. I love the regular burrito bowls too. They are awesome. I will still come back here.

The tacos were very good, but the staff was what made our meal memorable. Very friendly, great suggestions, and really seemed to love their jobs. Will definitely be back!
