Fantastic food, service and experience! The best fish & chips I’ve ever had! Large portion, great fries. Worth a visit for sure!

Arrived just before the dinner rush on a Sunday. We were seated right away on the patio. The molasses brown bread was surprisingly sweet and tasty, the oysters were very fresh and the selection was huge. The crab fritters were crispy and delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops were also great. My one critique was the service being a bit slow, especially when waiting for the bill.

Avoid this place. Great location but terrible service and limited choices for food. Only type of fresh seafood available is market price lobsters and oysters. Ordered the chef's choice dozen oysters for $35, no explanation given on which type nor what sauces were given. Crab and artichoke dip was definitely canned. Not fresh and for $15 there was likely 4 tablespoons. No cutlery, had to ask for napkins. No plates. Overall very disappointed.

Oozing charm and class at the same time. This restaurant has professional and friendly staff that all work together as a team. We never felt ignored and really enjoyed the vast space which must have been a warehouse in the past. The location is perfect as it leads to the boardwalk by the Harbour and has a convenient pay parking lot right next door. The open kitchen at the one end is as entertaining as it is reassuring that it is clean. The Haddock is absolutely MASSIVE 💯! The batter is nice and light. I appreciated that the have malt vinegar for the fries and fish. The raw oysters were perfectly prepared and the presentation was excellent 👌 It is the type of place that you can come as you are; dressed up or casual and just fit right in. A great place to get your seafood fix.

We were very graciously and speedily accommodated even though we showed up with 14 people and no reservation!! Our server was great, she recommended us a few oysters and her favourite dish on the menu was the fish and chips. I went with that, and it was delicious. Really nicely fried. We also got the chowder, which was to us quite under seasoned but that might be a local norm because I’ve seen similar comments on reviews at other spots as well. Great harbour side dinner!!

Although we ran into this restaurant to escape a heavy downpour, I am glad we came here. After ordering some drinks to hide from the rain, we got food plates to share (artichoke and crab dip with kettle chips, molasses bread, popcorn scallops), all of which were delicious. While the service was very good, do keep in mind that the prices here are on the high side, as this is a prime tourist destination. If you are OK with paying a "tourist tax," however, then this eatery is an excellent choice, as the food is tasty, drinks great, the maritime decor playful, and the location is second to none.

Location, location, location. The spot is buzzing with activity. I enjoy afternoon drinks on their patio as I have numerous times. The staff is punctual, friendly and accommodating. I had the Lobster roll when I was here last. It was extremely fresh but was a little light on taste. I recommend this place for sunny afternoon drinks with friends. Solo is fun too as the people watching is on point thanks to being located on a main fairway. They also allow your furbabies on the patio as well.

I was doing domestic tourism, I went with my family to Nova Scotia, we took a tour, we visited several restaurants until we found this one. The best of the best, the best seafood I have ever had. This place is fabulous for the family to share with friends and to eat alone if you prefer. The children loved the non-alcoholic cocktail that we had. I was always happy with my beer, my wife with wine, but the food was wonderful, everything was beautiful and the best service I have ever had. I will return soon.

Try to find the restaurant that serves the whole 🦞 lobster. Unfortunately, they just ended their lobster season . So we go with lobster roll instead. They lunch combo come with seafood chowder. We also order the Mussels. Everything is delicious. And our sever Eddie is wonderful too. ❤️

Family friendly resto and great location by the Harbourfront! First time we got an outdoor patio spot. Really friendly staff and they had crayons for my son to colour with (he mainly tried to eat them though. Sigh). Food really hit the spot. We ordered the bacon-wrapped scallops, lobster roll, and the fish and chips. Scallops had a beautiful crust, lobster was buttery and plentiful and my fish was nice and meaty! Fries were Cavendish 😋. So filling and affordable! Second time we came inside for calamari and oyster tasting. Nicely breaded calamari. We dont eat oysters enough to comment on quality but they were edible and briny where applicable. Thanks!

It has been 20 years since I last ate at The Waterfront Warehouse. On. Rainy summer day, stopped for lunch and had a Lobster Roll. The menu was built for tourists with great fare for all ages. The Lobster Roll actually had some great quality chunks of claw and knuckle lobster meat. The chips were also great. Service was quick and polite. Just what was needed for a quick lunch.

Food is decent. Calamari was lacking seasoning. Dip was above average. Apple compote ratio to fritter is to much. Ahi tuna Sandwich was amazing. The Lobster roll was great as well. Service was amazing. But Service is not great enough to overcome slightly above average food.

Overall a last minute dine in as we were walking and getting hungry so we decided to just give this a try as it was right there on the harbour front. We sat on the patio and was greeted promptly. Our server, Emily, was extremely courteous and helpful and even explained what we thought was a dirty table it was actually some permanent mark. Food was great. My daughter had the lobster roll, wife had fish and chips and I had the crispy fried chicken. All fantastic and tasted great.

Great location, good atmosphere, good service, clean washrooms. Unfortunately they miss the mark a bit with the food. I'll preface it by saying that we did not have any seafood, so I can't speak to that. My quinoa salad was full of great ingredients but totally lacking in flavour (plus the portion was very small). My husband ordered the portobello stack and was equally underwhelmed. I tasted one of his snow peas since he doesn't like them and it tasted like it was boiled until mushy, with no salt. Our daughter's kids meal of chicken fingers and fries was honestly the best thing we ordered. The fries are great and the cookie for dessert was warm and soft. We got some chicken skewers after our entrees since we were still hungry. Nothing exciting there either.

Nice place. Fair choice of seafood, sandwiches, clam chowder, oysters etc. Get on the sunny patio or sit in the large barn converted to a dining room. It is not a chic high end dining place but if fits perfectly the location on the waterfront. Skip the lobster roll though - it is underwhelming and too expensive for what it is.

We had an incredible time at the Waterfront Warehouse! We came for a drink in the afternoon and then decided to come back for dinner after seeing how great the menu was. When we came back for dinner we got: popcorn scallops, kimchi arancini, 2 oysters then the fish/chips and the fried chicken. We loved everything! We loved that there was an oyster bar and a menu describing them all. We’ve never had them so we got one each to try. We will definitely be back!

Had the steamed lobster. I thought it was going to be expensive in other locations but this one takes the cake. Was on my last day of the trip and I wanted steamed lobster. Thought this location would be cheaper than the other better-known restaurants. Nope, I should have gone to either BN II or FF. The only good thing is thank goodness the lobster was fresh and delicious. So I paid a hefty sum but I can say I kind of got some money's worth. $78 is not my idea of a good time for one lobster.

Great spot! Server was super friendly, she's what we always hope for when we dine out. They have someone in the kitchen that really knows their stuff! Comfortable seats and nice atmosphere. Food was hot, fresh and flavorful. No problem recommending this place.

So Jo wait to get in, extremely expensive, expected of seafood, but a little too much. Service was mediocre, could have been much better. Waitress didn’t check on us much, failed to bring out sides we asked for. Very clean restaurant, menu didn’t have many options. Great atmosphere, kid friendly, indoor and outdoor seating. Wasn’t the worst, but I don’t think I would recommend. It was close and quick enough for our cruise ship.

Lobster roll review: not market price, currently menu set at $29, served on toasted bread. It’s “average” and there are better options elsewhere. Kettle chips are nothing special, and not overly fried. Nice environment, decent service, ok drinks.

Oysters. Are. Amazing. As a guy from the prairies, I don't get frequent opportunities to experience seafood like this. And I learned that the best thing for washing down oysters from Antigonish, are beers from Tatamagouche! Our server was amazingly helpful, and was patient with all of our questions. I highly recommend, and will definitely return!

Our shared lobster dinner was delish, as we're our appies, bacon wrapped scallops and coconut shrimp! Carly, our server was perfect, attentive, quick, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Was the first restaurant I went to as it's my first time in Halifax. Food was really good. It was busy so service was a bit slower. Nice outdoor patio but the chairs and tables are cheap. Would have expected something a bit better. But the food was really good. Mostly seafood. I had the chowder and some fried scallops and it was delicious.

Best fish and chips and tartar sauce! The menu does not lie when it says the single fish is more than enough for a serving. The batter was not at all greasy and had a light crisp crunch! Great outdoor dining.

This was a great place to relax and cool down on a hot day. The drinks were well made and refreshing. The food was filling and adequately made. A great bonus was that the friendly and welcoming staff allowed pets on the patio and even provided water bowls for them.

The patio is a pleasant place to be in summer. Suitable for families, friends or couples. I loved the fact that they have a special menu for children. Unfortunately, the lobster with macaroni and cheese is no longer served. Overall, it's a nice place and the food is satisfying.

Place is nice and big but what fairly empty. Staff were lovely. Considering how empty it was we waited over an hour to order our food. 35$ was too much for my steak that only came with fries and 1/4th gristle. Again, staff were lovely but not sure I'd go back. If you really like oysters or seafood I think you'd enjoy this more than me.

If you're looking for a seafood experience that will transport you to the dockside of Halifax, look no further than the Atlantic Warehouse. This waterfront warehouse is home to some of the best seafood in town, and the knowledgeable staff is more than happy to help you find whatever your heart desires. The catches of the day range from succulent shrimp to delicate sole, and everything in between. But the real stars of the show are the lobster and crab. These tender creatures are cooked to perfection and served with a side of melted butter that will make your taste buds sing. Whether you're a seafood lover or just looking to try something new, the Atlantic Warehouse is definitely worth a visit.

So nice and relaxing. Best experience. Service was excellent. Server was so friendly, helpful, accommodating, kind and they go the extra mile. Parking can be limited and hard to find (depending on time and day). Would recommend the seafood if you're in Nova Scotia. Atmosphere was incredibly. Highly recommended. This place is a must stop if you live or from out of town visiting. Can't wait to go back again!!

We went here a few times and every time we just noticed the service was so slow. Would take about 6mins each time after being seated before a server greeted us/ask for drinks etc. The fish and chips was super good. Their crispy chicken sandwich is quite a let down. Says it has grilled mushrooms on it but it literally had 2 small slices of mushrooms. Needs more toppings. Overall good experience. Service needs to speed up though.

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
