The best Turkish food i ever had. Simply amazing. Do try the cold starter and end your meal with the tea. The hosts was very hospitable and knew the food so well, it just added to the pleasure. Whenever i will go to Halifax again this has now become a mandatory stop for me. Highly recommend!

Quite possibly the best restaurant in Halifax. I can’t even begin to describe how good the food is.... I frequently wonder if the meals I've had there are simply the best I've ever had. And there are so many gluten free options and substitutions!!! Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Couldn't ask for a better restaurant experience.

My first time here, although the food was pretty good, I won't go back. We ordered the sample plate as a start, and didn't have anywhere close to enough pita to finish it. The waitress, who was fantastic considering she was the only one serving on a Friday night, asked us 3 times throughout our meal if we would like to purchase more pita. I feel like there should have been enough to finish the app from the start. After we ordered a large group came in and they requested to sit beside us and they bathed in cologne, while this is no fault of the restaurant, I understand, but I left with a migraine because of it. The group that came in after we ordered knew the cook, which I assume is the owner, and they managed to get their food before we did. I also found the main pretty small for close to 20$. I am only a small woman, but I could have kept eating. In short the food was good, portion was small, and the experience was terrible.

Great place to serve Turkish and Mediterranean food specially grilled kabob. Mix of mezze plate is the best option for appetizer.

A lovely spot that we finally tried. Delicious and healthy selections. Everything is homemade.

On my maiden trip to Halifax I decided to give this place a shot. My first impression was that it is a small cute place. I would love to come on a date here. But I came alone this time. The staff was amazing and were considerate of my vegetarian needs. I was skeptical earlier and assumed it to be an expensive place. I ordered a platter and believe me I could eat it there for dinner, packed the rest for brunch and even had some left for a small evening snack next day. Overall the quantity and quality are worth the price. The food was authentic Mediterranean, so suited to my taste buds. Since its been 2 weeks after my visit, I dont remember the names of the contents in the platter but my overall impression was that everything was amazing. I would definitely recommend people to visit

Gena the chef makes the best food in the world. Make sure you try it, you will never regret it! She is a hidden gem and adds much-needed culture and culinary diversity to this city. Simply delicious!

Friendly staff, good location close to the Citadel. Portions of the lunch special are a bit small, but for the price it is understandable. It is ok if you are not very hungry. Meal tasted great. Went in July 2019 on a sunny day and sat outside.

This place is a gem. The food is fresh fresh fresh and the falafel is the best I’ve ever had. It’s more herbed than spiced and it’s super super crispy. The moussaka was outstanding as was the lamb tenderloin. The accompanying rice was cooked to perfection. The chef’s son waited on us and he was super sweet and thoughtful. I do not give five stars without reason so trust me, this place is great!

Went here for my birthday. The food was terrific. I had the set course for one. There was enough food for two. The different starters on the mezze were all first class. The service was great. Attentive, but not over-bearing. We will definitely be back. Probably the next time we're in the city.

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
