๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Enjoyed it. Geoff did a good job of maneuvering the vehicle around Halifax's narrow streets, making a big splash into the water. All around an excellent job. Our tour guide, Owen did well in giving us some excellent information on the history of Halifax. Thank you People often mention tour, guide, great, Halifax, water, recommend, amazing, time, experience, captain,

We had a great time on our tour and had great weather too! Abigail our tour guide was so funny and full of information (Hi Abigailโ€™s mom!) our driver and captain Mark was filled with information about all the ships and submarine in the harbour. I learned stuff I never knew about flags on ships. Also we all got a little surprise when we got splashed entering the water in the hopper bus boat. It was a little pricey the tour but in my opinion you wonโ€™t get that kind of information when self guiding on the land or water. We purchased our tickets in advance online. When doing this it showed how many spaces were available to purchase and I was able to see which time slots were sold out. Great tour my favourite part was when we were on the water!

Absolutely amazing. If you're heading out east, be sure to mark this one in! Some great historical facts mixed in with a lot of humor and jokes! Loved every moment! I do not do well on boats, I get sea sick, and I was able to do this tour. The shape of the vessel helps prevent it from being too rocky in the Harbour! So if you're having reservations based on that, I can tell you from my experience, it was fine! (Windy tho, so if you're usually a chilly person, bring a nice jacket!) Our captian and first mate (sorry I forget your names!!!) Were AMAZING!! I got a pic of em with Jake my little kangaroo rat plushie! (He travels everywhere with me!) Yall are amazing, can't wait to be back and do it again!

What an amazing experience! If you get Abigail as your tour guide, you won the game of Harbor Hopper. She was hysterical and very informative. Oh, before I forget, โ€œHi Abigailโ€™s mom.โ€ The harbor was beautiful, and we enjoyed the tour from beginning to end. We even got a history lesson on the Halifax explosion of 1917, which I never heard of, but have already told half a dozen people about. I strongly recommend booking in advance as people on our cruise ship said it was sold out a few days before. I read reviews that said it is a pricey tour, but I think $50 per person is more than fair, especially if all the tour guides are as good as Abigail.

Such an amazing tour and a unique way to see Downtown Halifax and the Waterfront! We chose to book this activity on our first day in the city and are so glad we did. The tour guides were so informative and provided great context to every turn we made! The 60-min tour went by quickly as there was so much to see and digest! I would definitely do this tour again on my next visit to Halifax!

Hopped aboard last week to see what all the fuss is about. You see these Hoppers driving/sailing around the downtown all throughout the day. An amazing tour of the downtown and harbour with historical and humorous commentary. A must for any age. Captain Curtis kept us on the narrow roads and in/out of the harbour with ease. Our guide, Chris was funny and full of local facts & lore (full disclosure: Chris is my son but he was still awesome). Met many of the other staff before boarding and they are a wonderful group. You will love The Hopper!

First time in Halifax and not sure what to do?? GO ON THIS TOUR!! The captain and host are very welcoming, entertaining and you will not get bored! They go over so many facts about historic locations by adding a personal touch. Lastly, the hopper is old with no suspensions, but it is a lot of fun to ride! I would recommend buying tickets in advance to secure a spot, as these tickets do sell out quickly during peak times. Expect 1 hour for the tour to complete.

Halifax, A great water front in east cost which is famous for its great maritime history. Harbour Hopper is a fun ride with family, friends and kids. Itโ€™s a great feel that a bumpy vehicle which takes you on both land and water. A must try if you are visiting Halifax downtown, especially the great feel when it plunges in to the water from the road with a splash.

Very fun way to tour around Halifax. Major props to the driver (Rachel, I think it was!) for maneuvering the narrow streets with safety and precision. And our guide (I think her name was Dina) for being humorous, informative and interacting with the folks on the street to keep the energy up. Highlight of the tour is going from the street into the ocean and having an amazing view of the boardwalk and harbour. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Halifax!

Great experience, even with a heavy rain, winds and 50 degree (f) temps!! Our guide, Kylie, was fun and informative. Hint, don't give the tip when purchasing your boarding pass as i did, it's better to give it directly to the guide and Captain at the end of the tour.

Wifey and I took this tour this summer, the girl doing the guiding was low-key hilarious - earned our tip for sure. Do this cheesy trip, it's fun and it goes in the water. After the Harbour Hopper tour we went and got some fish & chips on the dock by the water - probably the best F&C's I've ever had. Was just fun sitting in the sunshine having a drink with my lady laughing about stuff and people watching. We had fun on this trip, hope you do as well. Don't forget to rent those electric scooters, they are a blast.

The captain and host were awesome. I think her name was Tania - has plenty of wit and humor to keep it entertaining and was full of information. The ride itself was very comfortable and felt safe both on land and water. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide Matt was brilliant--he was not only a fountain of knowledge, but his jokes and happy demeanor made the trip very enjoyable--while our Captain Rachel was also lovely. Definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for a fun outing in Halifax.

The experience was incredible. Our driver was Rachel. What an experience to go around Halifax and in the harbour. Our guide was so nice and learning people about the history and locations of Halifax.

My wife and I had a great time this morning riding the Hopper with Matt as the tour guide and Christine the Captain of the ship/land vehicle. Very easy to book online, parked in the recommended lot and met the tour in the designated area as arranged. Good idea to arrive a bit early to check out the entire harbour area. We had breakfast at the Summit Cafe, super nice sit down place in an office building. Lots of signs posted directly us to their location. The tour was very informative and entertaining by Matt, heโ€™s a great asset to the company and Christine amazed us by her skills navigating the narrow streets. Highly recommended tour, short, sweet and worth the money.

Amazing experience on this tour. Lots of history of the city and harbour. The tour guides and drivers are very personable and will answer any questions you may have. Lots of fun!

Very fun, for all ages. Boat and land tour guide. Both captain and assistant very welcoming and nice, gave a history lesson going through halifax down town, it was roughly an hour tour. I would recommend to locals and tourists

We had a great tour with Captain Curtis & Chris. Being from the area we were shocked how much we learned. Our group felt like true tourists, and Chrisโ€™ humour made up for not doing a long water tour due to the fog. We had 3 young children (4,3,1.5) in our group and they had a great time as well. Would highly recommend! We canโ€™t wait to book again.

It was my second time. Last time I went was last year just after the covid restrictions were eased. I must say it's always a fun experience and different. This time we chose last tour of the Friday. 7:15 pm one. It was really amazing to start in a day light and end at a night light. Witnessed lovely views of Friday rock concert by halifax parade ground. Would go again whenever I get a chance.

Thanks to the amazing driver and tour guide onboard, we had a blast riding the all too famous Harbour hippo! I would definitely recommend to anyone whether you are a tourist in Halifax or a local haligonian. Just keep your arms and legs inside the vechile at all times and watch out for the trees !!

Very best way to go around Halifax Downtown via street and water. Mike (Driver/ Navy guy) and Bettany (Tour guid) were really funny, warm and supportive. I strongly recommend it, doesn't matter if your stay at Halifax is short or long.

We went on a rainy afternoon, so we dressed in rain jackets and ponchos. The captain of the vessel was an amazing driver/pilot and was very personable. The tour guide was friendly, funny and informative. The land portion was interesting and the water part was great! I would recommend this to anyone!

Amazing experience! Was fun to ride around town, the tour guide was amazing. Sadly I forget his name now (Isaac maybe?) but he was great and the Captain was genuinely nice and was great to hear some of the navy info!

My friend and I decided kind of last minute to get tickets and go on the tour. We were able to get tickets for a tour in about an hour. When we arrived the staff was fast and attentive and got us on the hopper! Our captain and guide (Isaac I believe) were wonderful! So knowledgeable. It was a lovely sunny day and I had so much fun! I would recommend it for anyone and everyone!!

Great experience! Abigail is a wonderful guide (good luck for future competitions)! Captain Mark was great maneuvering through the construction traffic! Definitely recommend. Wish there was an even longer tour!

Fantastic way to see the city! The captain and guide were wonderful and made for a memorable experience. You wait in line outside in a parking lot with no overhead cover. Waiting in line got hot. The top may or may not be down on the Hopper so come prepared with a hat, water etc... Seats are bench seats and fit 2 adults easily on one. The back can get loud because of the exhaust. Would recommend!

This amphibious bus tour was a neat perspective that you would not normal get walking around. Our tour guide Sean was great, had a lot of great information about the city, area and provided some monumental times in history. โ€œThe splashโ€ was worth price of admission hahaha.

Great tour that was fun, the special thing was a city tour and harbor tour with the same vehicle (amphibious vehicle). The entrance to the harbor basin is the highlight and is particularly fun! Duration approx. 1 hour
