👍👍 Beautiful and peaceful. This is a rocky beach, and clear water. Not a lot.of people on the beach. Lot's of little tide pools. We had a whale of a time looking for sea glass and shells. Saw some star fish and lots of snails. We took the bus a, #29 and the beach was about a 10 minute walk from the bus... People often mention beach, park,

We went there with the intent to swim in the Atlantic but were greeted with this sign when we arrived. There is a lot of green grass and very nice walk ways and paths but I don't think the area is appropriate to swim in. The 'beach' is really made of black rock (who knew?). There are tons of shells to pick though!

Amazing place open to the ocean. We had a nice walk with the kids. Peaceful place where you can sit and watch the ships moving around the port.

A nice beach overlooking the port. A really unique place to see massive container ships.

A sand beach for kids and your fur friends to enjoy the water. Bear in mind its not under supervision, so be aware of the changing weathers here of a coastal city like Halifax. Part of Point Pleasant Park, one of the ordinary stopping place in the park with extraordinary insight and peace might be bringing to visitors.

Awesome place to visit, if you enjoy rock collecting go during low tide. Great place to bring your dog. Lots of walking trails. Great views. Lots of parking. Drive safe.

Luv this place. Used to belong to the polar bear club, and we swam there every year for year's. Not now. Shame. Still beautiful.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Black Rock Beach! The natural beauty of the black sand against the deep blue ocean was a sight to behold. The peacefulness of the surroundings made it the perfect spot for relaxation and reflection. The unique rock formations added an extra layer of intrigue to the beach, making it a photographer's dream.

The Beach really smells but the Scenery is beautiful! You can swim but not recommended in the summer! : ) :(

Beautiful park with great views and diversity of landscape. However would not call this a beach. There was a portapotty at the entrance which was nice but beware to use it before you get into the park.

Cute beach by parking lot to let the kids collect a few shells. Otherwise nothing special.

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
