Had Christmas Eve Sushi at Arisu Halifax. The sushi was the best we ever had. Huge rolls, made with fresh ingredients, all done with care. Prices were excellent for the amount and quality of food you get. The service was perfect. Beautiful decor, some hand made by the owner. Clean and comfortable.

Arisu was pretty good! It's a blend of Korean and Japanese dishes. We had the Bulgogi bento box and an order of sushi to split - we didn't realize how big the bento box was! Worth checking out, it's a big space - there is a nice looking bar at the front that wasn't being used Thursday at lunch.

Great place, friendly staff and delicious food!! We were there last night to for the first time and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We started off with several different kinds of sushi which they were all very delicious and fresh. Then we ordered the Spicy Chicken bbq to share. There were so many healthy side orders came along with it and the spicy chicken was very flavorful. Also, we had a chance to meet the owner who is a very pleasant, friendly lady! Thank you Arisu, we are definitely coming back!

It's so delicious, for three people we ordered three rolls and two main dishes, in total around 75 dollars for take out, it's so fullfilling, we got as twice as much food we need! Honestly i think they have the best sushi in town :D but their sushi is way better to eat in when fresh

Today was my fourth visit to Aris Today. We especially enjoyed the beer party with the woman boss. She was very kind and full of love. Fantastic food & services!! I love it!!! ♡♡♡

I have been here twice for lunch, and if you want lunch in a hurry this is the place you want to be. When you enter, you get pleasantly greeted by all the staff you meet. Then you notice the wide open, clean, and modern space. The Mongolian grill used to exist in this space, which was very tired and questionable at times. Although now, I must say Ari Su's interior feels very clean and certainly inviting after the great renovations they have made to the space. When you arrive at your table you get a pot of brown rice tea, which they top up if you ask. The restaurant has lunch specials ranging from $10 to $20 dollars and the a la carte is also available for you. I tried the spicy chicken bento box and on a different occasion tried the pork cutlet bento box. Both were great, the portions are huge and I always end up taking half of it home for a snack. On dining with friends and family, I havent yet heard a bad thing about the food or service at Ari Su, its holding strong and maintaining their standard since opening. You cant beat their lunch, their service and atmosphere. If you are in the mood for Asian fusion, have a big group going out for a work lunch, or plan on taking that special person out on a dinner date even, this is a great place to eat. I may just need to make a lunch reservation..........soon!

We always have a great time dining here. Today we were surprised by the owner himself "Mike" to help us prepare and cook our korean bbq order. He is very humble and personable. The place has a good ambience and the staffs are always very friendly. This is by far one of the best korean bbq and japanese restaurant in HFX. The food selections are awesome. Also what I like as well is they have range hood vent per table that prevents the smell of food from sticking to your clothes. Overall, a must place to eat and visit. Don't forget, they also have karaoke rooms! Mike, thanks again for celebrating Mother's Day with us. My family had a great time. Also it feels good to meet another fellow Torontonians. Cheers!

I passed by this restaurant and it seemed inviting. I ordered the Sushi Arisu (which came with a crunchy roll) and Las Vegas roll. Everything tasted as good as it looked and the prices were very reasonable.

This place is amazing!! The staff are friendly and the food is delicious! The spicy squid stir fry and the Korean bbq at my favour menu items. Highly recommend trying this place!

Spacious, clean, and nice ambiance! For people who get sick of lobsters or seafood restaurants in Halifax, I recommend this place! Decent traditional home cooked korean dishes with nice service.
