Came here for ramen and got the spicy Tan Tan ramen. Sooooo goooood!!! I’m actually wondering when I can get to Halifax this week so that I can visit again. Ignore the negative people who leave negative reviews for everyone. This place is delicious. I mean come on, look at the picture!! Update July 28th: came back for a second visit, brought the husband. We both got the fried chicken ramen and both left super stuffed and satisfied. Will definitely be back again!!

Very generous portions, made of chicken stock instead of pork stock, and friendly servers makes truly tasty a wonderful restaurant to visit. We got the fried chicken ramen which was piled with pieces of fried chicken that had a wonderfully salty coating. We also got the tan tan ramen but I would probably advise against that as although the meat contained was soft, the broth was a bit strange. The fungus in vinegar appetizer was unique and very refreshing. Would definitely try the rice bowls next time.

On that day, the reason why the customers with the kid has been refused to be served is that couples with the kid came for dine in and the kid is really naughty while the owner trying to serve. Also, as we known that ramen with broth is really hot and even will made kid injured, and imagine if the kid got scald that parents would definitely blame on the restaurant! Hope all other customers being sober for this whole thing. And for that couples, stop being like bad parents just also your kids running and playing in the restaurant, restaurant is not playground!

We ordered 3 kind of ramens. I liked Spicy Misu Chashu Ramen. With 3 big pieces of thick braised pork shoulders, ground pork, and soup made this ramen has a good taste. Food portion are big with reasonable price.

Even though this place was quite busy over lunch, we were seated promptly and served in a reasonable timeframe. The restaurant is well laid out so we didn't feel crowded. The servers were excellent and attentive. Our delicious meals were served hot and well presented.

My husband and I just ate there for the first time. We ordered spicy tan tan Ramen, spicy kimchi Ramen, and the fried chicken to start. Everything was delicious, portions were huge. I couldn't finish my Ramen and have enough left over for an entire other meal. This was the best Ramen we've ever had, fresh, flavorful, ready quick, excellent broth, and the service was perfection. 10/10 would recommend!

Ordered the fried chicken ramen with extra lemon and it’s one of the best ramen I’ve had in HFX. The place is clean and the staff were nice too!

Loved this little spot. Staff was friendly and personable, restaurant was spotless. You can watch the staff cook from you tables. The noodles are home made & delicious. I has the crispy chicken in miso soup base with noodles. But some of the other dishes looked equally as delicious. Great price & quick service. Take out options also. Definitely going back to try more!

I’ve been coming to this awesome restaurant for years and it’s one of my favourites in Halifax. I’ve always ordered the Crispy Chicken Ramen (which I Love), but recently I started getting the Spicy Pork Chasu Abura Soba. It’s amazing. The pickle plate goes great with it and I usually get a marble pop too! Love the atmosphere they have now versus their old location with their custom made tables and chairs and a much bigger dining room. I look forward to my next Truly Tasty meal. ❤️

First time dining in at Truly Tasty and it was amazing. If we could rare it more than 5 stars, we would. We got the gnocchi appetizer, a soba, a ramen and a rice bowl and every single dish was generous, flavourful, and beautiful. Will be back to try the other items on the menu. Best ramen restaurant in Halifax by far.

Finally found the time to stop and try a bowl of Ramen at one of Halifax’s famous stops. Difficult decision on the menu but went with thee servers recommendation. The broth was SO GOOD. Rich and thick, packed with flavour. Noodles were firm with great texture. The fried chicken was plentiful and very crispy. I removed it to the side and just dipped as I went to ensure it kept its crunch. Excellent spot. Went again this week Aug 23/23. Had the Tantanmen. It was excellent. Not as spicy as I was expecting. Lots of delicious flavour, great textured noodles and a rich broth.

Best ramen I've ever tried, wasn't expecting to get such good fried chicken here to be entirely honest. Super juicy.

Wanted to try this Ramen place for a while now.. and trust me its worth it. Tried the crispy fried chicken ramen and and the Spicy pork miso ramen both were delicious. The portions are hearty and the broth with both were delicious. The places was moderately filled for lunch time and the service was quick and on point. Definitely worth a try.

The best ramen you will have in Halifax, Food is extremely tasty, portion is generous. Service is 5/5. They should get more recognitions!

Truly tasty is by far the highlight of my visit to Halifax. I tried the spicy pork chashu abura soba plate and it was heaven. the meal is huge, fresh and really delicious. service is unreal good and the team is really nice as well: Please add this restaurant to your list and try it, you won't regret it.

Just finished our food here at Truly Tasty. Best and fast service. Best value--- and the food is "truly tasty" recommend the mild spicy Tan tan Ramen. Generous meat and vegetables. Really happy
