The hospitality here is unmatched! I loved how they made my birthday dinner extra special, you can tell that the staff loves the work they're doing. I had a fillet mignon and it was nice and tender, the mashed potato was presented so beautifully. I had an unexpected complementary dessert, so yummy and presented with wonderful singing. No doubt one of my favourite places in Harare

This place was outworldly! From the interiors, to the exterior, everything about this restaurant screams elegance and old world charm. I fell in love with it at the very first sight. The restaurant has good parking space, select food options being served by an extremely well mannered staff, and above all, a visual imagery you can relish upon until you leave. Try a dinner here, and you won’t be disappointed.

True five star dining in Harare. The food was absolutely great, the service was amazing and the view from our garden seats was to die for. The attentive staff and the manager made sure we were well taken care of beyond our expectations.

Some of the decor seems a tad out of place but the attention to detail of the staff and the quality of the food will have you forgetting all of that in a moment. And the portions, great value for money. The duck liver pate is my favourite starter, and they live up to their name when it comes to the mains. The steaks are divine, the duck is sublime and the quail is exquisite. The vegetable platter is dope, and the side vegetables are tasty. If you order the spinach it may get cold before you finish the bowl coz generous portions. The homemade steamed pudding is my go to to end the meal.

A true to name rejuvenation of Wombles to a beautiful garden setting along enterprise road. This location is a reboot of Wombles Steakhouse offering the finest quality steaks and high class dining meals. Their menu is extensive, offering something for everyone. Steaks are the star of the show, as well as their salads and some restaurant takes on classics. My personal favourites are their sirloin and Gammon (pork) steaks. Prawn salad. Mushroom risotto and their own take on crème brûlée. This location offers fine dining by appointments and a beautiful bar setting. Everything was fresh and full to taste. And at a higher price I’d say this location is great for occasions. Staff was warm and welcoming. Parking is available. A great addition to harare food scene. 5/5 rated steakhouse. Thank you Wombles. I always recommend Wombles first for steak/ red meat lovers. I have only been disappointed once in the last 4 visits so I think that’s okay because they fixed the order once I raised it. Impeccable service the owner is very lovely and takes a interest in her guests which is always nice. A bit on the pricier side but I think it’s worth it :) oooh and special mention to their creamed spinach it’s so good

It's clear that the chefs at Wombles are true carnivorous connoisseurs. Not only do they offer exceptional customer service through their affable and well-informed staff, but their steaks are impeccably prepared, succulent, and rich in flavour. I was left with the impression that I had experienced a truly top-notch dining experience.

They have great customer care. The food is well cooked and garnished. It's a 5 star restaurant offering 3 course meals. The best dinner I have had thus far in Harare. Be sure to make a reservation first.

A lovely and ambient place to enjoy with friends and family. The layout and the walkways are well covered the greens that serve as shade. Overall, it is a beautiful environment for relaxation.

An astonishingly beautiful place for fine dining

Memories of the old Wombles abound. Steak was excellent just like the good old days. Expensive compared with other restaurants but service was excellent and food exceptional so worth it. Decor is busy but befitting a top restaurant. I got the impression that there were too many wait staff around but perhaps that's because we were seated by an internal door.

Bit on the higher end of dining (So get your wallet ready) with great ambiance and good food to match. Had a Calamari starter and the Gammon main course which was a wonderful mix of flavours that more than filled my appetite. The service is also very attentive to the point of making sure your glass is full if ever empty.

Such a lovely and delicious food great staff and authentic place. If you want to feel yourself as a royalty this is the best place to have a dinner with your family and friends. You guys are at the everest in dining section (I before ate in Carnivore restaurant Nairobi and Johannesburg)

My best friend had his 40th birthday dinner here and it was an awesome experience. The atmosphere was mature and homely and it felt like we could've been sitting in our own dining room at home. The service is 5/5 with the owner greeting us at our table & taking our orders, before leaving us in the very capable hands of her waiting staff. She then also checked in at least twice throughout the course of our meals which was a nice touch. The food was delicious and served with some quaint old English pomp and ceremony. It was 3 course spread with starters, mains and desserts. There was a slight mishap with my steak order though as they gave me a rare instead of the medium I had ordered, but that was resolved without any fuss. But that is why I rated it a 4/5 The drinks selection is good too and our waiter was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu. For the nature lovers, there is a scenic garden complete with palms, manicured lawns and exotic flora as well as a small stream featuring a little bridge All in all a great experience.

Love love everything about this place! I visit this restaurant every time I travel to Zimbabwe, which is about twice a year. This place does not disappoint. Service is consistently great, the food is perfection and the atmosphere is stunning. Definitely my favourite restaurant in Harare. Highly recommend the chicken livers & malva pudding - they will change your life!

I absolutely love what they've done with this place. It may not be fine dining, but the food is cooked to perfection. I've had the best Steak Tartare of my life here, honestly.

Set in the old Amanzi restaurant but redone to represent their emphasis on steaks (their specialty), a very welcome dining experience for Harare. Attentive staff, lovely menu, great food. A must visit for the foodie and the hungry alike.

The food is super great definitely 5 star. The dinning, fine at its finest. The entire experience, well let me just say its not for everyone. Definitely not a place to go for a relaxed; fun dinner. Place is most suited for a date, or a family dinner (thats if your family is a bit on the quiet side). The money is worth the food.

Great restaurant. Easy to locate off Enterprise Road in Highlands suburb, Harare. We were a group of 4 and had steak and lamb shank. All main course was deliciously prepared as requested. The lamb was very tender. Service excellent and the restaurant decor is beautiful African artwork mixed with traditional splendour. Will definitely go again.

The food was fantastic and the service was top quality! Will be back to try out more of the great options on the menu.

Excellent food, excellent service, beautiful ambiance, lovely views of the gardens. Highly recommend this place. Try the lamb or chef’s special for that day. It’s family friendly however I would suggest having a kids menu as the portions are quite large for the little ones but other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant.

When you think of fine dining this is it. The service is top tier, their food is packed with flavour. It is on the pricey side for sure but it's worth it. Their menu is wide and spoilt of choice. Make sure you ask for specials.

The experience wasn't the best. Food was good however the customer service was terrible. Felt ignored the whole evening. Maybe it was just a busy night for them not sure but was not very impressed.

Visiting from the UK and Wombles is a treat. Fillet Steak was great and Crepe Suzette was delicious. Agree that the prices are aligned with what you would expect in Europe but it is reflected in the quality of service..we will return.

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, great ambience and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Exemplary service, food was outstanding (i think we ordered half the menu!), ambiance was relaxed and thoughtful and owner greeted us personally, talked through the specials and checked on us throughout the evening. I have lived here a few years and had given up on finding a restaurant which wasn't a let down in one respect or another...but Wombles had it all! Well done!
