Restaurant African restaurant

👍👍 My fav African restaurant. Always a vibe. Amazing experience, really personal service, excellent excellent west African / South African menu and the Egusi is to die for honestly. Fresh and clean looking but oh so wholesome and juicy. My second favourite is the red stew. People often mention rice, African, stew, great, nice,

A very decent looking and safe place to be. The food is articulately made with love and care. Loved my Assorted meats with Jollof Rice and coleslaw salad. Shout out to Tommy our waiter who served us with utmost love and care. He also volunteered to be our photographer/videographer. The private rooms are lovely in all definitions. Intimate space with the comfort one may desire.

Second time going there and I really love the West African food. It’s tasty and the cocktails are great too. The service is also very lovely. The waiters are also so kind which I loved. I’m all about the holistic experience and La Casa always strives to give you that. I definitely recommend you try it out.

This restaurant offers Nigerian cuisine. It's quite nice. However, the egusi for me was below par. Their peppered goat soup on the other hand was excellent. Another disappointing thing is that there is no signpost/board to show that you have arrived at the restaurant. Otherwise, it was a good experience overall.

I had beef stew with jollof rice, I thoroughly enjoyed the rice I found the beef stew fatty but it had a delicious flavour to it.

We came here expecting a great Nigerian experience after watching a tiktock video. The experience was underwhelming. First off, they didn't have the cocktail they offered us. We had to settle for an alternative. We ordered the Jollofy rice, Fufu, mixed veggies with chicken and beef and red stew. Finally the food came, and the food was too oily, the meat was tough and the jollofy rice was cold. Would I go back? Maybe not. If you like to try it give it a chance.

We are tourists visiting Harare and we decided visiting this place, after receiving some positive feedback. Once ordering everything (mostly goat dishes) the guy comes back and tells - we are sorry we do not have any goat left. Such a disappointment, they do not know how to run a restaurant, with half of the menu items unavailable. We paid $25 for two way taxi, which was a waste too…

Had their chicken salad as a light meal and it was mouth watering and well prepared. The atmosphere is great, it’s a great place to hang out with friends catching up and do birthday dinners as well. Definitely coming back trying more options on their menu.

Ordered pork bones and pounder yam. The Yam was cold, and porridge like, the pork bones were nicely cooked but overpowered by the scotch bonnet or whatever 🌶 they used. Was planning on going with friends tomorrow but now cancelled. The bar man was really lovely however and really pleasant

The jollof rice was burnt, I complained and the chef insisted that it is the way it is cooked ( I have ate jollof before never had it burnt). Maybe it was just a bad day!! The stew was good though.
