We
got
a
regular
"queen
bed"
room,
so
it
was
the
lower
end
of
their
spectrum.
The
room
was
a
tiny
bit
on
the
small
side
and
not
particularly
well
lit,
but
it
was
comfortable.
It's
tough
for
me
to
sleep
in
a
hotel
as
I'm
always
wanting
*my*
mattress
and
*my*
pillows
but
the
ones
in
the
room
were
OK.
The
comforter
was
a
decent
quality.
Keep
in
mind,
what
you
see
on
the
website
is
not
how
all
the
rooms
look.
Our
room
did
not
look
like
the
one
in
the
photos,
but
it
had
most
of
the
same
things.
The
room
decor
is
cute,
even
if
some
of
it
borders
on
"abstract
generic".
The
walls
were
gray
but
the
ceiling
was
painted
a
navy
blue.
Nice
touch
on
that.
The
rooms
also
have
historic
touches
to
them
that
remind
you
it's
an
old
building,
which
I
loved.
Our
view
out
the
window
was
an
old
architecturally
interesting
synagogue...
pretty
neat
actually.
The
staff
was
kind
and
professional.
But
not
overly
so
that
it
seemed
genuine.
They
were
just
"controlled".
They
knew
how
to
be
but
I
didn't
get
that
it
was
"natural".
Either
way,
it's
pleasant.
But
the
one
thing
I
didn't
totally
"get"
before
arrival
was
parking.
There's
valet
parking
available
for
$35
and
the
hotel
will
deal
with
it,
I
was
told,
but
it's
also
in
close
proximity
to
parking
lots.
There's
2
or
3
to
choose
from.
I
parked
myself:
but
be
warned,
the
Goodwin
doesn't
have
its
own
lot,
and
you're
going
to
have
to
pay
to
park
in
a
privately
owned
lot.
We
paid
about
$20
to
park
overall:
we
bought
one
6
hour
block
on
arrival.
We
had
plans
later
in
the
evening,
left
and
purchased
a
12
hour
block
when
we
returned
that
covered
us
through
check
out.
The
monitored,
but
unstaffed,
lots
do
not
seemingly
allow
"in
and
out
privileges",
so
just
be
aware
of
what
you're
buying.
The
range
seems
to
be
our
finagled
$20
up
to
$50
depending
on
who
you're
at
and
how
long
you're
there.
One
lot
tried
forcing
us
to
pay
through
Monday
morning
on
a
Saturday
afternoon
as
they
didn't
consider
themselves
"open"
on
Sunday.
That's
the
only
reason
why
I'd
give
location
a
3
star
rating:
the
parking
situation
is
kinda
dumb
but
it's
unavoidable
in
the
downtown
area.
It
increases
your
cost
outside
of
the
room
charge
and
it's
an
inconvenience.
But,
such
is
life.
It's
a
beautiful
hotel,
though.
I
overall
loved
this
hotel
and
would
stay
again.
There's
a
restaurant
and
bar
on
site
but
the
menus
didn't
strike
a
chord
with
me.
Try
the
barbecue
place
down
the
street,
Black
Eyed
Sally's.
THAT
was
excellent.
