Some of the most beautiful stretches of beach in the nation of Israel. Awesome sunsets and Mediterranean vistas make this place a must visit when you drive by on Route 2 (The Sea Side Road). Highly recommended for families and people who want to take a lazy stroll alongside beautiful beaches.

This place is an incredible seashore nature reserve! 🌊 Habonim Beach Reserve 🏖️ has amazing scenic views 🪟 of the Mediterranean Sea and a few walking trails! 👣 The Shell 🐚 Beach is phenomenal! Bring your swimsuit 👙 for a relaxing time at the beach ⛱️ - the water 💦 is cold, blue 🔵, and beautiful! 🤩 You can reserve entry tickets 🎟️ in advanced online for those packed weekends (36 NIS per car 🚗). I wish I came here more often!

I feel I may be missing something here, so I'll explain. This place is basically a beach with a bit of extras. There is a sand beach There is a beach where instead of sand there are seashells (which is cool) There is a place where instead of sand the sea meets rock and so the water dug through the rock and created a nice little cave that you can look at but not go into because it is dangerous. Knowing the above, you can come, go into the sea, and have fun, but it isn't a great place for a hike in the summer because there isn't any shade, and not much to see. They also don't give you any flyer in the entrance that explains about all the things you can see, which is why I might have missed stuff.

One of the most beautiful parts in the Israeli coast line of the Mediterranean, with many small coves.

One of my favorite beaches in Israel. It is located in a nature reserve and has so many things to do here. There's a shipwreck, sand dunes, beautiful caves and shells 🐚✨️💙

Nice nature reserve with a beautiful beach. Facility is OK. There is no drinking water pipe, but there is a convenience store and bathrooms. It seems like people can park next to Habonim Beach and just walk into this nature reserve (which costs an entrance fee)…? Clean beach with lifeguards.

Very nice beach. It's s nature preserve and costs money to get in. There is a beautiful little sheltered cove, filled with shells, where you and your children can explore and see small creatures like snails and crabs. The beach is also a cove, so you can actually swim, with a lifeguard tower, bathrooms, shaded (thatched) areas, etc. Many people come with tents, to spend the night. This must be done in a separate section, so as not to interfere with the people who just came for the day.

Love this beach. Make sure to bring sun screen, hat, and lots of water. We went at 9 a.m..I made sure to bring money for ice cream. There is emergency care if needed, bathrooms, and shower areas. Tip: because the area is a bit rocky digging holes for propping an umbrella is a bit difficult so having a beach tent with sand bags would be optimum. Find out when turtle eggs hatch then you can have a family outing.

Beautiful beach, very easy access and parking. Well patrolled - the people next to us were blasting music extremely loudly. The staff came and very politely askedthem to turn the music down, explaining that it is a "quiet" beach.

Nice and clean beach, 37 shekels for a car. There is a little track by the sea that you can take.

A beautiful Nature reserve which also include a wonderful beach. You should make time for if you're touring this part of Israel. Just one thing, but significant as it may be: I recommend avoiding visiting it during the vacation and Hagim (Israeli religious feasts) as the site is then quite crowded, and the atmosphere of course suffers from it.

Amazing and peaceful beach. Well maintained and clean. Small ponds surrounded by low cliffs, with nice walking routes. It's a good thing they charge money in the entrance to keep the area welcoming.

Beautiful and unique sea shore with turquoise water and interesting rock formations. There is a trail to take along the beach. Exposed and there is no shade, so can be very hot during the summer (at summer, it is recommended to come in the afternoon)

The sights of the sea, with the small limestone cliffs and pillars, the little bays and the caves curved by the waves are amazing, especially during sunset. This amazing location is a 10 minutes walk from the parking lot.

It is a nice beach, but Dor beach is much more beautiful and it is free. There is no need driving on unpathed road, paying 38 shekel for a vehicle.

Beautiful beach and preserve area near a kibbutz. Takes a little to access, but the beach is very nice. You can take a walk on the nearby dunes and rocks. Less people than in other beaches.

Dor Habonim has been an absolutely gorgeous hike. It is perfect for couples with children. A lot of nice views and crystal clear water with astounding little beaches.

A beautiful area to go for a walk or chill on the beach! Blue cave is recommended, and if you walk a bit further you'll find a beautiful spot full of shells in between the rocks right where the waves are crashing.

Quite nice and special beach for rest and for the view. You can have here picnic or just for a walk. We had a short walk here, we saw many animals, plants, actually the water is very clean. Really cool place for a romantic date

I have not enough words to describe how beautiful this beach is. Peaceful, with calm and clear water, not too busy out of season...

Beautiful beach. I can only assume how crowded it gets in the morning, but we came afternoon and it wasn't too bad. Other than a small shop to buy ice cream and snacks there is nothing to buy here, so come prepared. The nature walk is well worth it, with amazing spots and views on the way

  • 5/5 Yishai F. 3 years ago on Google
Don't just sit on the beach. Take a small hike to the cliffs and you'll see those amazing views.

A very nice beach / nature reserve. They charge an entrance fee like many other reserves. I found the site clean and the staff very helpful.

I hate giving great places a 5 star because it only leads to crowding, however, this beach is as beautiful as any I've ever been to (I'm a california native with hawaiian experience). I was here a couple times at sunrise; stunning. Like all Israeli beaches it comes with garbage left behind on the beach (maybe one of the people who will be crowding the beach in the future might also care enough about it and pick up the garbage, so there is hope for the future here). Heading north from the parking lot takes you to the rusted ship sunk in the sand and the make shift tents on the beach left by student-youth-nomads that make this a funky type of water world over the warmer seasons. Heading south takes you to the beaches that are covered in shells (not sand). Both directions are beautiful and the area is not that large so you can easily see both in one trip.
