Don't like an automatic gratuity added to my check, I would tip more, I mean $78 for 3 double deeps eddys is ridiculous, I didn't realize my 3 drinks purchased 4 bottles for them, I'm a business man and always tip well, but getting plowed isn't my thing, I realize you have high rent to pay for and other cost but high end bars don't charge this. And I'm sure this business is smart enough to realize people don't pay attention to the 20% gratuity so guess they'll be getting away with it, very clear I said doubles in my review just like your signs that are everywhere

A novelty to love and enjoy for the weebs out there. A $10 cover was worth the light show and art inside. Drinks were a smidge high in price but the themed drinks were very fun. I loved the star power one. The dj was all over the place but otherwise my friend and I enjoyed an hour or so checking out the art. Upstairs is LEWD, if you love smut make a b-line for the upstairs. The staff was dressed in theme which made for an excellent vibe. Service was quick and friendly. Fun place overall!

Pretty cool spot for cute pictures. The place was very hot inside, definitely need better climate control. The drinks were okay. The DJ upstairs was pretty awesome, he played some good music! Entrance was $10 on a Friday, not sure if they charge the same on Saturday but I think that it's fair, I don't think it's something to be charging for.

The drink selection here is pretty limited, underwhelming, and disgustingly overpriced. They didn't have any rum, and only a small handful of options for beer. Much less than you'd expect to find at any other bar. The music was so loud that the walls and floor were shaking. It was impossible to hear or speak, and we ended up having to leave as a result. Not so much a cool anime themed bar, as much as a mid at best nightclub pretending to be a bar. They have 2 generic arcade cabinets and a projection of random anime clips on the wall, but outside of that, not much going for them. You'd have better luck getting nice drinks from almost anywhere else.

Really cool anime themed bar. If you are an anime fan you will definitely like this place. They have a more "spicy" area upstairs for anime fans if you know what I mean wink wink. The drinks here were really good as well.

Its super cute. The upstairs will surprise you in the best way but do not come here if you're not open minded. Drinks are very pricey but delicious. Had a great time and will def come here again!

Every time I go, daryn always serves the best drink Houston has to offer!! The music is great and drinks are even better! Daryn definitely makes the experience even more special!!!

Best bar to go to if you're into anime and well if you're not who cares the atmosphere is great however i did have an incident recently that a creep was there and wouldnt leave me and my girlfriend alone so next time ill let the bartender know if a incident happens like that again.

tbh would never come back here lol it has art around but no anime/japanese related music. plays music like any other bar. other than that the bartenders are very nice and drinks are good!

I VERY rarely enjoy lounges or night clubs but I really like this place!!! The most striking feature of this place is undoubtedly the décor. It’s kept very dimly lit but the walls are covered in neon art and the downstairs bar has scrolling LEDs displaying the drinks menu. There’s lots of neon colors throughout and it has a feel that is meant to evoke a Tokyo nightclub (presumably; never been). There are two floors: a bar area and a “hentai lounge”. The bar area is a bit more casual. There are little to no seats and it’s designed to be largely standing and dancing room. The drinks are largely crafted in-house and are all faithful references to anime and manga. I’ve had every drink on the menu on more than one occasion and can’t remember having anything I didn’t like. They vary quite a bit in taste and profile and there’s a very good chance you’ll find something you like. The upper floor is the hentai lounge and it’s basically exactly what it sounds like: it’s decorated in a way that’s not dissimilar to the downstairs bar but the images are much more erotic (and not fit for publishing on Google Maps so you’ll have to see them for yourselves). The bar is also different. Instead of mixed drinks, they serve exclusively sake with a dedicated menu. I’ve been wanting to learn about sake so I spent quite a bit of time on the second floor. A lot of the servings sizes are bottle-only so either bring friends or make some (I chose the latter, recruiting nearby livers to help me drink 12 servings). I’ve had almost all of the different sakes on offer and while I’ve liked some more than others, I’ve loved them all in their own way. The service is striking: the bartenders are SO friendly and the service is fantastic. There’s a young lady working the bar on the first floor who’s a bit of a sake expert so I would frequently seek her counsel on what bottle to get next and she always offered her advice graciously (and it was always really good advice). Prices are perfectly reasonable for what you get, although the second floor lounge offers bottle service which I’ve never taken advantage of so I can’t comment on that. There are normally two bouncers outside who are always very nice and professional which is VERY important. Make no mistake: a bad bouncer can absolutely sink a business. They do ID checks and bag searches but no pat-downs which I also really like; I do not patronize bars that insist that another man rubs your body top to bottom. Besides the obvious violation of personal space, businesses do not pay for extremely stringent security that they do not need. What this means is that businesses that have strict security are those that NEED strict security, whereas the clientele here are easy-going enough that such measures are not required. Expect no fights or unreasonable rowdiness; this is a generally high-trust establishment and clientele. I only had a single qualm which was the music. There is really a LOT of Eastern club, dance, techno, dubstep, vaporwave, etc. music available and it was a little disappointing to hear American pop music. This place really leans in on the Japanese aesthetic; why not take it all the way? People can hear the top 100 anywhere, why not offer them something they can’t hear anywhere else? Overall I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. 5/5.

Cashless bar which no one tells you. Also i ordered 3 drinks and it was 64 for it. That's a little high for dos equis, crown apple, and espolon. Ambiance is good however and upstairs portion had a better energy.

Aesthetics were better than the music, could've played anime music. More old 2000's and 2010's. But this club a vibe with their anime drinks.

Very watery drinks and the 20% included gratuity just seems like a way to get people to accidentally double tip (like I did). Was also dance club loud despite only having a few people there. I’m big on anime but this spot still wasn’t for me.

The drinks downstairs are so watered down, but I love the concept of ordering from the bar. Upstairs is a lot more exclusive , my favorite part of the whole night club & the sake is stronger.

Atmosphere was cool and upstairs was wild. Music was fun but seem to be segmented from animie but that's okay. The drinks were good but pretty pricey. Overall it's a place to check out.

I was so excited to hear about this anime bar opening in Houston until I found out they don’t even play anime or Japanese music!! At least the bar is anime-themed and the art is really good. Upstairs is wild. I got a mixed drink with strawberry poppers and it was tasty but a bit too light for me.

Bartenders are very sweet and can communicate well. Drinks are delicious. Kinda whack they have 20% tip included in price but whatever

Going into this place I had no idea what to expect. This place is definitely for those who love anime. The bartenders are so nice, and the drinks are specialized to certain animes. I tried the sailor moon drink and it was delicious. Definitely will come back

Awesome uniquely designed club with anime art all around. My boyfriend lost his debit card there, and they were very quick to help me solve the problem even on a weekday. Great place, staff and music.

The place was pretty great. I love the way it's set up too. Awesome anime inspired cocktails and mixed drinks on the 1st floor and harder drinks and atmosphere on the second. 10/10 gonna come here again!
