Amazing experience, unfortunately the spa was closed at this visit, but the hotel compensated that with a proper food and beverage compensation. The foods and drinks are really good and reasonable priced and the restaurant is amazing colonial style with a great historical story. The room with private pool was amazing, the room have a massive bed where u get lost in, nice big bath top and steam sauna. Located very close to the beach 20 meter walk. Incredible service and staff constantly offering their support. The pool bungalows ain't cheap but definitely worth a try , if you on a lower budget you can ofcourse take the standard hotel rooms which are also very good. Depends on your own choice how you like to spend your holiday and what's your budget, this hotel have it all, but most importantly their spa service is world class.

The barai offers the best spa experience i’ve ever had. The staff are friendly and helpful with choosing spa packages and offering welcome drinks. The massage is amazing, especially the barai blend, which blends multiple massage practices. The spa facility makes it seem like you’re in a different world away from all the stresses. High recommend!

A massage at The Barai is a holistic experience not to be missed, whisking you from your everyday life and taking you into a world of delight and enchantment, from the very first moment you put your foot into their building. The futuristic architecture with the amazing and charming interior design, the peaceful music and the genial omnipresent fragrances, make lasting impressions for all your senses. Service is top-notch and so are their massages.

No.1 design spa so far, check up the ceiling interior and the self glaze. Here for balancing your basic elements, earth wind fire and water. Don't miss the yoga class in the morning 😉

Excellent spa experience, will definitely return. The interior design was cool and mysterious, service and massage skills were up to standard better than some posh brands. Make sure to call & book before going as they don’t open till late. Reserve more time to use the sauna as desire. Can check out Klook’s offers which I was too late to take. Enjoy! Amazing! A must visit. A Khmer inspired architectural marvel offering incredible spa journeys. Swim, take a steam, sauna. I had the Barai Blend Signature 90min Massage. The room was beautiful. The therapist Malisa, (Khun Dao), communicated clearly and professionally and responded to my massage concerns and focus areas. Treatment includes dry Thai acupressure, and an oil massage that includes hot stones. Highly recommended!

Nice spa with colorful designed. When step in, can feel peaceful and relaxing. This spa was one parts of the Hyatt Regency Hotel Huahin. The service considers high if without the promotion. Would recommend to make a reservation in advance.

Allow me to begin by stating that this review and rating is of the Barai spa and of their weight loss program as opposed to a review of the resort as a whole, as a Hyatt run property. The resort itself, the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, as a property is fabulous and among the biggest resorts in Hua Hin. It’s clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. They do come provided with mosquito repellent body sprays and the plug-in insect repellent vapor, both are very effective at keeping mosquitos at bay. The resort has everything for everyone and is definitely family oriented. The resort has direct access to Hua Hin’s beach which is perfect for swims and long walks especially if you’re trying to lose weight. Also most Hua Hin sights are within short driving distance. The town itself is very walkable, again very beneficial for weight loss. The Barai is the resort’s spa where you can get treatments and go on a wellness journey. The weight loss program was the main purpose of my stay (three weeks). With the program you’re offered three healthy meals a day, some treatments (mostly massages) and some physical activities like personal training or stretching sessions. The meals are all healthy meals designed to specifically address your goal. Most of my meals were vegetarian / vegan meals with a few meals that included fish or chicken. From my experience will find the meals difficult in the beginning in terms of satisfaction, but assuming you’re staying for two weeks or more, rest assured you will get used to it and your body will adjust. Staff: super friendly, hardworking, always smiling, patient and always prepared to assist. Specific staff recognition - Vito, full of energy and very positive. He went above and beyond by escorting me to the immigration office at Blúport to extend my visa. - Aom (at the MacFarland restaurant) for going the extra mile by not only making me feel welcomed but by also regularly checking on my well being. - Pakbung (at the MacFarland restaurant) for remembering me and my specific meals likes and dislikes from my last stay. - Tan (therapist at the Barai) remembered me from my last visit. She was very friendly, welcoming and a great conversationalist during my treatments. She went above and beyond by checking up on my health, suggesting specific exercises for me and also by recommending medicine for my nagging cough during my second week at the resort. - Pim, Malisa and Rose (therapists at the Barai) are all very kind and friendly ladies. Pim actually remembered me from my last visit as well. All were great conversationalists during my treatments and treated me well. Some areas for improvement: - Posting the high / low tide times at the beach access points of the resort for all to know when to go swimming or do beach walks etc. - Allowing easy access to the locker keys of the Olympus health club Personal recommendation Stay for the relaxation and health journey reset. The resort is made for couples and families but you will still enjoy the experience as a single person. If you decide to stay at the Barai-Hyatt Regency, I recommend venturing out to Hua Hin town (5 minute’s drive) as often as possible. There are sights to see (eg. temples), markets and two major malls to visit. This will help with cabin fever especially if you’re there alone. For the weight loss program: for long stays (more than a week), I would recommend setting realistic, achievable goals. You may even surprise yourself. For example, I personally aimed to drop 3 Kgs in three weeks but ended up dropping just over 5kgs. Also I would recommend getting a print out of the planned meals for your weight so as to know what you will be served up front and not be disappointed. You can always ask to have your meals tweaked. Enjoy your stay 😇👍

A young couple wanting to completely shut off from the world and the internet. We were able to do that the Barai at Hua Hin. We stayed there for 3nights and it was such a pleasant experience from start to end. Special thanks to Mo Phat (our assigned butler) who was kind, professional and so thoughtful. She went above and beyond for us and always made sure we were comfortable. She is an asset and a gem. We will be back!

In love with The Barai….. absolutely the best experience in Hua Hin. The rooms are gorgeous, very exclusive location within the resort, amazing service and staff. Highly recommended, especially the rooms with pool on the ground floor.

Came here for a spa treatment, it’s the right choice to come and relax also by seeing all the astonishing exterior/interior designs was already worth it. I think I could not get any of this kind of atmosphere anywhere. Thanks for the great services.

We needed gift certificate for a friend but we didn't have much time (holiday and short notice). We are very thankful to the manager and the staff for helping us. We are thankful for their immediate response and help.

Excellent room, spa and service. Our butler New and a staff at McFarland, Oh, made us feel at home. We will come back for sure. After a lovely dinner, we came back to our room to find a milk bath prepared for us free of charge.

The worst services ever at THE BARAI SUITE. The AC should be cold even we adjusted temp to be at 19 celsius and highest fan.. But the butler told us that maybe because their blanket is the best quality. (Seem like they looked down on us). There are lots of bad events here. I wont come back here again. Caution!

I have nothing to complain here. This resort is absolutely beyond our expectations. Since we are locals, we mostly stay in our condominium in Huahin but this time my husband and I just wanted to experience something new so we booked a Balcony Suite at The BARAI on my birthday. The room was very spacious. We loved every corner of it, especially the private balcony and the oversized king bed! We felt super relaxed and cozy in the room that we didn't want to go elsewhere. The service here is also exceptional. Our suite butler, Khun Aae was very attentive, kind and helpful. We also enjoyed our time at the Barai Spa and dinner at McFarland House. If you stay in the Barai Suite, we recommend to have a breakfast at the McFarland House as well. It is more private. The menu here is all a la carte and there were so many choices. Overall, we had the best time celebrating my birthday here and we will definitely be back again soon.

The service was really good but the price was very high as well. The suite was very spacious. The bath tub was impressive. The bed was HUGE. The private en suite steam was impressive even though I didn't use it. The breakfast at McFarland wasn't diverse, but the breakfast at the other two restaurants was okay. I love the actuvites that were provided free of charge so there was no need to leave the hotel. The architecture was different especially in the massage parlor, but not as impressive as I expected.

From the entrance to the room and spa area, you definitely feel stunning with the ancient Thai sanctuary atmosphere of the place. Booking is required in advance & suggest rooms are suites 1-4 near the beach. To complete experiences, purchase room with spa package to get personal butler & free soft drinks at Mcfaran House. Private swimming pool near the suite is stunning with 30m long, no kids is allowed in the pool area.

5-star massage session. We had signature massage that comprises with Thai massage, Aroma, and Hot Stone. The ambience is very cozy and peaceful. The masseuses are professional and friendly. We'd go to the Barai every time we visit Hua hin.
