Shopping as expected, but maintenance of toilet as well as coffee machine doesn't seem to exist. Especially the idea of having a working coffee machine seems to be extremely difficult for the store manager. Unfortunately clients got used to the fact, that maintenance is not done regularly, there improvement can't be expected. It's a pity...🙄 Update: the coffee machine worked today 😏 but quite some basic products are in the meantime more expensive than at Lidl shops in Germany...🤔 !

Very chaotic price notes

Probably the best supermarket in Hunedoara. The most quality and maybe the best prices in Hunedoara. I usually shop here when I'm home and produces were always in good state. One thing I really appreciated: the cashier didn't want to give me some bacon because she saw it was past the expiry date (I didn't notice). She insisted on taking it back. The only minus is that the supermarket is understaffed. They should hire 1-2 people in my opinion.

It's like any normal LIDL, you can find anything here. The plus thing is that the chocolate and some other stuff is for peanuts, so if you are visiting from another country, it worths to purchase a lot of stuff. We just did that and we still have some chocolate left after 2 months. :)

This is quite a big super market for Hunedoara with its own parking lot. There is a bakery where they bake bread and pastry. There is also basic clothing sold and some stuff like for camping.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Very friendly and helpful staff. A reasonable range of basic products at very competitive prices. Though less range, it is significantly cheaper than Kaufland in almost all standard items like butter, milk, eggs, flour, sugar, fresh produce, etc. The store flows pretty well but due to it's size, can be chaotic and cluttered during restocking hours. What stands out to me is the 'above and beyond' approach to customer relations. I pay cash now for everything (didn't previously but this is Romania) and although they provide a very quick self-service, there are no cash options which I have no problem with since card is much faster and having lived in the Netherlands for years, I had to get used to handling cash again. Well, ironically, I completely forgot my pin code. The staff member (who I think was a manager) came straight over, and though neither of us spoke the same language, he managed to sort out my problem for me efficiently and creatively. Very considerate and patient. Having experienced the shrewd indifference of Kaufland staff and their processes, I was pleasantly surprised supermarkets weren't all like this. And for that reason, we have now made a switch to making Lidl our main source of shopping and supplementing it with other stores like Kaufland whose promotions are sometimes cheaper. Lidl also have some great limited products and their sales section often have fantastic deals from everything like alcohol to sauces to clothing.

Not so crowded, great store, prices, employees.

It's a little chaotic and dirty when you enter, but the products are pretty cheap for the quality. Also, very good pastry section!
