Amazing place to visit with kids or not. The persons taking care of the place are very dedicated and have a lot of stories about Valentin. Amazing details. Keep it up. I hope you find a larger place

If you’re into model trains and are in the area, do not skip this museum, where the quality and details are present everywhere! Very well thought from the entrance, to the models, even the entry ticket! Go there and enjoy it!

The owner is great, the place is amazing. A lot of work was dedicated for each set-up. Hard to capture in a photo everything so I advise to drop by if you are in Hunedoara or near by :) + huge toy cars collection along with Valentin Banciu's racing suit.

Very nice, a lot of detalis in there. We spent about 1,5 hours there and the kids enjoyed it a lot. Even if it is in a small place they managed to have all the seasons ( even a working skilift).

The cutest place ever! Such an unusual concept, but such a pretty place, it was very interesting to see. Kids will be in Heaven, adults will be fully entertained. There's also a very cool tiny car collection. Doesn't take much time to visit, but it is fully worth it!

Must see for any age. Probably one of the most impressive miniature museum I've seen anr with a wonderful story behind it. Congratulations to the team who put this together.

Amazing place. Not so big and also if it’s crowded you may not be able to fully enjoy all the miniature scenery. Loved the attention to details, lights, sounds and mainly the trains. Really recommend visiting this place. The tickets were 20RON per adult and 15RON for the kids

This small museum succeeds with its beautiful models to delight both children and adults. The models are made very realistically and capture life in all its moments. Friendly and very nice staff, it was the first museum where we were told that we could take pictures and film without paying any fee.

Very nice museum, with a very nice story behind. It presents a private train and cars collection of Valentin Banciu, a famous local pilot, who won multiple romanian trophies. Valentin's wife decided to present to the public his collection, after he died, so people can enjoy the things he gathered. Kids love this place, it's really something special!

If you want to visit Hunedoara, don't miss this museum. Is small and very interesting. Will bring for you the glory of romanian railroads before 1990. You will find here pasionate and dedicate people, very well train and kind personnel and a lot of animated miniature trains. It worth to bring here children of all ages.

This museum is a gem! Small, but with very nice details, you should allocate around 30 min for a visit. Our daughter loved the main room and we enjoyed the miniature details that reminded us of Switzerland. The owners paid attention to every little detail (the old train tickets brought us back on the memory lane - they are sold as entrance tickets here): there are miniature hikers going down the mountains, swimmers in the lake, people going to church, others going about their everyday activities in the village, there is even a sky village in a corner. A must do if passing through Hunedoara.

Forget the kids! Visit it for yourself! The museum is amazing and fascinating. I cannot even imagine how much work went into making the sceneries, but we LOOVEED it. I wish I had the space to make one of these for myself at home now 😂

Omg, such a great museum, I enjoyed like I was a kid, the staff is polite and helpful. There are a lot of Easter eggs trough the diorama, I spent a lot of time just analyzing the people, animals and buildings in the diorama. I will definitely come back when I will have the chance.

This is a must-see place when travelling in Hunedoara. The museum is way underrated as it hosts an amazing collection of functional toy trains and miniature rails. I was very enthusiastic watching the machines and their handmade tiny background including detailed little figures, buildings and very realistic arrangements. The lady guide was very keen to provide information. There are various souvenirs available at the ticket desk. Save the tickets as they resemble the old Romanian train tickets.
