My Organization booked 30 double rooms, with all three meals etc. we paid tens of thousands of USD for those rooms for a period of 15 days. We had people arriving late due to covid issues and or they had to cancell due to the same reason. We asked for a refund for the unused rooms and or for the rooms not being occupied until a later time. We were told that would not be possible. And that we only were supposed to have 25 rooms. Once the contract was produced with reciept of payment that all changed we had 9 rooms owed us. Long story short we proceeded to fill the rooms we had paid for already with individuals from the area that were helping us get around / translators. Needless to say these individuals were told they could not stay in the rooms we paid for and were asked tp pretend like they were. Those rooms including others were resold and or used without our knowledge so when people we had expected to be showing up late did there were no rooms for them. Instead of being honest about it, hotel staff passed the blame to different division within the hotel that took me and another person dealing with this an hour or so before they realized we were not going to let this go. Don't pay for your room for large groups ahead of time, if you have to pay a deposit then the rest upon arrival. Not sure if this is the norm in Colombia in STEALING peoples money but I have been now for several decade and have never dealt with this before ever. Other than this the hotel was nice employess amazing except for the instance of passing the buck and our group that arrived on time was treated well.

Spa Malo! I made a reservation to bring my friend to the Casa Morales Spa for her 30th birthday to receive a relaxing massage and chocolate therapy. We are greeted with a smile upon entry in the hotel lobby-and directed towards the Spa. We walk into the hair salon/spa area and did not feel welcomed. I recall there specifically only being one of the Spa staff members smiling and treating us with respect and I believe that she was the manager- the other woman did not seem to look forward to working. They asked us to change and go into the turkish bath to open our pores. We sat in the turkish bath for less then what seemed like 2 minutes and they asked us to come out of the bath and that they were going to get started right away. The chocolate therapy- they put chocolate on our bodies- it dried- and then we bathed in a shower with a very dis-functional shower head that took a lot of the relaxation I had just sunk into- away. The relaxing massage- I was cold from the shower from the chocolate therapy and there were no blankets offered. During our session- there was construction going on in the next room! Metal bars were being dropped and it was really disturbing to what is supposed to be a relaxing massage. The staff was having conversations with one another during the massage. There are huge bamboo curtains hanging as their 'door' in the entrance of the spa- despite the beautify of the curtains- I found them also very disturbing during my therapies. The staff would use it to come in and out of the spa and that mixed with their loud communication- was quit frustrating. Therapies were over- didn't feel great! They walked us to a jacuzzi that was almost cold- I got it for 1 minute and decided it was cold so got out. We then were invited into the turkish bath at the end- and that was the nicest part of our experience! Was being able to sit, relaxing, without interruption. I live about an hour away permanently and was looking for a good spa nearby- well- this one isn't it. And it made me a little timid to try others in the area. I do not recommend this Spa- I did not explore the hotel- it looked great! Hopefully the Spa team can debrief this comment and try to be more aware of each individual client walking into their space to relax and not experience what my friend and I experienced on her birthday.

Santiago is a great host he helped me in so many ways he was exceptional he always was kind and asked me how I was and how he could help he also talked with his staff and helped to get my fridge working he made my stay here with my family very good also the pool jacuzzi gym and fun room that had billiards tres banda's and foosball and ping pong was great the breakfast was amazing and fresh also they are very clean here I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL as it's well priced has great views and is in walking distance to the center its the best service and hotel if been too here in ibague if you come too ibague you should definitely come here and check this hotel out and say hi too Santiago and tell him Jeremiah sent you!

Nice clean hotel that is very loud. Expect to hear traffic and music from the streets through most of the night. However the hotel is the nicest in the city

Excellent service, great facilities including a very complete wet area. Close to interesting cafés and restaurants with affordable prices.

Clean, good bed and facilities, pizza is delicious, expensive.

Traveling through Colombia with my wife, kids and my mother in law, we decided to stop in Ibague for a night and found this hotel online. Front desk service was great, ladies were very attentive. I decided to go to the pool with my kids and my wife and mother in law to the jacuzzi. My wife came out to tell me that the jacuzzi was cold which we notified someone that worked there. They sent someone to supposedly fix it and it worked for a bit but went right back to cold water. While at the pool a lady from the spa they have on the premises offered me a massage which I thought to buy it for my wife and mother in law but unfortunately once my mother in law went into the massage, it was done by some with absolutely not experience. This was taken to the front desk person in which she explained the hotel was not affiliated with the spa which make the hotel look bad as they have no control over the service that is being offered in their premises. The spa was definitely a complete let down and I do not recommend it at all. Another thing that was very unfortunate was the dinner at the restaurant on site. My wife, my mother in law and myself ordered steaks. Both my wife and my mother in law was suppose to be a churrasco. One was over done, the other under and the quality of the meat was horrible. It was so hard they were unable to eat it. The waitress was very kind and very helpful. She spoke with her supervisor to see how they could fix the situation. They people there were very nice, kind and understanding but unfortunately, I am not able to give this hotel a 5 star.
