Was recommended by a restaurant nearby which was full, however the food was surprisingly not so eatable while being expensive. I ordered the potato salad as starter, the potato was still hard and felt cooked in a hurry, not to mention I chewed sand out of the mussels inside, and it was extremely salty. For the main dish we ordered lamb and pigeon, quite pricey, both of them were served few minutes after order, I appreciated the speed but the meat was literally undercooked, you could see from the color and it was impossible to chew. I guess it was good quality meat, but it’s not the reason to serve it almost raw, especially without asking the guests for the preferred cooking level, very unprofessional for a restaurant in this price range. End up not eating much from the dishes, it was obvious for the waiter, and he tried to talk to the manager who obviously seems quite arrogant about their food, it must be our bad to not appreciate their raw meat. To avoid!

Nice modern French cuisine. I’ve heard good things about this place but somehow I couldn’t find anything special. Their service was very attentive and plating was nice, but the meat we ordered was somewhat very chewy and lack of flavors.. also they are well known for great lunch specials but unfortunately not offered when we visited..

Jaja, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Le Marais! It's definitely a restaurant worth experiencing. Although it may be a bit tucked away, the food is nothing short of a flavor explosion. I ordered the pumpkin and orange fish, paired with a perfect white wine, and it was an exquisite lunch experience!

I had a wonderful time at this hidden gem in Paris. Lively atmosphere with fresh Parisian air in a charming courtyard. The manager Julian was kind and attentive, the servers were very prompt and helpful. The food was incredible! The pigeon was a masterpiece! The wines incredible. All that and a casual flair without the haughtiness often associated with fine dining. I highly recommend this gem to anyone who loves to eat and drink!

Excellent little variety of seafoods and meat options with great sauce combinations. Do not miss the pain perdu no matter how full you are. Staff speaks English if necessary and are fun and attentive.

A beautiful address in the heart of the marsh but the tables are very close, quite a bit of noise. Rather good dishes, not very inventive, served rather crudely, a side of suckling pig not cooked enough. Excellent Paris Brest for dessert! A high addition in the end for this decent menu (champagne glass 13 euros, more than a dessert...) Very friendly service.

A real find. The chef is Argentinian so we opted for lamb and steak. Both beautifully cooked, wonderful flavours and melting in the mouth. Very helpful and friendly staff and a really nice feel to the place

We had a great lunch there. Their bread was good and came warm. We had beef tartare and scallop as starters. Delicious. I had cauliflower for my main, I wish it had a bit more sauce to give a bit more flavor as the sauce was really delicious. Fish of the day was fresh and nicely presented. A little bit pricey. I think if you come without a lot of expectations, sit under their transparent roof, drink wine and just take it easy then this place gives out pretty good relaxed vibe

Delicious meals, very crowded during meal times, warm atmosphere, amazingly delicious grilled octopus, very friendly service staff, a restaurant that you can't miss when you come to Paris!

Nice restaurant with the possibility to get a table for baby. Useful for family with kids . They also have a special menu for kid (15€ only). Otherwise the food is good! I recommend to go for lunch as it is cheaper. They have a menu of 25€ for lunch with 3 courses.

Simple and elegant dishes. The food was elevated and simply delicious. The ingredients were very fresh and perfectly cooked. Spent time with the owner after the meal to talk about his work and learned about the sustainability angle of the restaurant which made me enjoy it even more. All locally sourced and a focus on minimizing impact. Highly recommend.

Exceptionally bad experience. The food arrived surprisingly fast to the table, both the lamb and the pigeon we ordered was super rare. The potato salad starter was extremely salty and undercooked as well. The waiter was kind of nice but seems not professional at all, he was not familiar with the menu and was quite awkward. The prices are also quite high. If you like your meat extra rear, you might enjoy, otherwise not recommended.

Visited yesterday after reading the good reviews. Three star for the food but the service and atmosphere is okay (not bad, but not extraordinary either). We got the scallop with kale tempura appetizer. Scallop is okay, but the kale tempura is wayyyyyy toooooo oily. One bite on the tempura I thought I was drinking oil. For main dish we got the veal and the lamb. The veal is okay, I personally like chicken breast/pork loin kind of meat texture, so I don’t mind the veal being not tender. The lamb on the other hand is not good at all. It was not a lamb rack, but rather a leg of lamb. Generally you would stew the leg of lamb because of the tendon/fascia, but the chef here choose to grill it like a steak. Thus, it was simply impossible to cut (see photos) because the fascia is literally unbreakable. Meat is pretty bland, the flavors are mainly in the pea mash next to it. We don’t speak French and we were not offered the “today special” menu. The waiters only offer the daily special menu to native speakers. The same happened to another Asian table sitting next to us. I don’t think they intentionally discriminate, and I am not offended, as menu can be quite difficult to explain to foreigners. But I do hope they treat foreigners equally, I mean, after all, you can simple just use Google translate to provide an English version. If you plan to come, don’t get the lamb 🤣

Such an incredible place! Food was amazing and super tasty! Service, the best we could find! We definitely suggest the pain perdu as desert and tartare as a starter.

Restaurant that offers an excellent selection of rotating seasonal dishes and with raw materials coming from local, regional or national sources (indicated on the menu). We appreciated all the dishes we tasted, but in particular the grilled cardoncello on brioche bread with crispy bacon, the suckling pig with carrot puree and fried black cabbage, the rack of veal with marrow, mashed potatoes and Chinese cabbage and the selection of cheeses as a finale to the dinner. Honorable mention to Paris-Brest, soft and delicious! Excellent wines from all over France, although more expensive than other venues or other European countries (especially Mediterranean), but in line with prices in the capital. Nice and intimate place, not at all touristy, even though it is in the Center Pompidou area. Very kind and helpful waiters even with foreign customers (alas, not so obvious!). We spent a pleasant evening and we will not fail to return next time to try other dishes based on the season!

Really nice and attentive staff, she kindly helped to translate special menu to English and offer good suggestion :) Food was nice and cozy environment for group dinner. Minor suggestion the team - you may want to update the dish names on Google reviews 🤣

Very nice and cozy restaurant . French food . The food was delicious and I spent a beautiful evening here with some friends. I strongly recommend a dinner here. Fast service and courtesy. In the amazing district of Les marais you can enjoy a digestive walk after your meal

I had neutral expectation for this restaurant after reading not-so-great reviews about its service but the service was good! The service staff was nice and prompt :) the food were great too! Scallops were nicely cooked, love the pumpkin risotto & veal. Def recommend this restaurant :)

Hidden gem tucked away in a busy shopping street with a quaint little courtyard. Delicious food, friendly service, just what we wanted for lunch. We had the scallops, monkfish and pork which were well cooked, and tuna tartare seasoned to perfection. Will come back.

It's a nice and cosy restaurant. I went with some of my British friends but the service was bit slow on that day. We had to wait quite long time to get our food. Long gap between the starter and the main course. The aubergine we had as the starter was bit dry and hard to chew. Overall the food was delicious specially the desserts.

We had a fantastic time at Jaja. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and had good knowledge of the wine list. We fortunately got a table outside in the cosy courtyard which was a really great surprise and felt very authentic and charming. The food and wine was absolutely delicious, so over all a beautiful dinner in Paris. Thank you Jaja, we’ll be back!

Very good restaurant. Friendly and fast service. Nice environment. High quality products cooked perfectly and at a very reasonable price (I would say that even low price). They have terrace and indoor with two different areas. Great experience. Totally and highly recommended!!!

👍👍 If you are visiting Paris, a cruise ride on the River Seine is not to be missed. We chose Bateaux Parisiens as it was included in the Paris Pass. 😐 Granted, setting and mood are nice. Staff is, for the most part, friendly’ish. Food was average, in other words, rather disappointing. 👍 Well managed restaurant with beautiful decor. I love their kitchenware like dishes, pans and bottles. Truffle pasta is tasty but I didn‘t enjoy the beef dish much as it was too dry and tough compared to other restaurants in Paris. Anyway overall is good - having nice food in lovely atmosphere!
