Samin
Hotel
seems
to
be
everyone's
last
resort
when
looking
for
accommodations
in
Khoy.
There
are
2
other
hotels
that
are
more
decent
but
have
much
fewer
rooms
so
they
get
booked
up
quickly.
Below
are
the
pros
and
cons:
Pros
-
Always
seems
to
have
availability
if
you're
looking
for
a
room
-
Air
conditioner
works
great
in
the
summer
-
Good
shower
pressure
even
at
higher
floors
-
Very
kind
and
helpful
breakfast
area
manager
Cons
-
Other
than
the
manager
of
the
breakfast
area,
all
other
members
of
the
staff
and
middle
management
are
incredibly
unprofessional
(as
other
reviewers
have
noted).
The
examples
are
too
numerous
to
count
(and
we
were
only
there
for
5
days
total)
but
include:
1.
Lying
about
their
card
reader
being
broken
and
forcing
us
to
walk
into
town
to
deposit
money
via
an
ATM
so
they
could
avoid
taxes
2.
Not
delivering
missing
towels
to
the
room
after
us
calling
on
multiple
occasions
(and
refusing
to
let
us
come
down
to
pick
them
up
from
the
front
desk)
-
Poor
treatment
of
the
custodial
staff;
the
hotel
managers
are
too
cheap
to
buy
their
staff
vacuum
cleaners,
so
they
have
to
painstakingly
sweep
all
the
floors
(including
rugs!!)
with
brooms!
-
Missing
towel
and
bedsheets
until
you
request
them
(and
then
it
takes
multiple
painful
phone
call
to
the
front
desk
to
receive
them)
-
The
hotel
offers
a
free
basic
breakfast,
but
while
the
lobby/breakfast
area
has
an
AC
system,
they
rarely
turn
it
on,
so
it's
uncomfortably
hot
while
eating.
Instead
they
open
a
few
windows
(even
though
there
isn't
a
breeze)
which
results
in
multiple
flies
and
ants
on
many
of
the
breakfast
tables
that
don't
get
cleaned
in
between
guests
so
every
morning
we
would
have
to
search
for
a
table
that
wasn't
covered
in
crumbs
The
building's
main
services
to
the
local
community
seem
to
be
the
swimming
pool
(which
many
children
were
using
for
swimming
lessons
over
the
summer)
and
the
event
hall
which
was
rented
for
2
weddings
while
we
were
there.
It
seemed
like
the
hotel
is
secondary
to
these
services.
I
would
recommend
avoiding
Samin
and
booking
accommodations
in
one
of
the
other
2
main
hotels
in
Khoy
if
at
all
possible.
The
actual
rooms
are
very
basic
but
fine
for
the
most
part,
the
main
issue
is
the
lack
of
basic
hotel
management
that
sours
the
experience.
