We arrived in Tehran on the last day of their religious holiday and we were wondering how to spend our day since most things were closed when we came across Persian Walks. They offered a free walking tour of Tehran. We decided that would make a wonderful intro to the city and country. We weren’t disappointed. We found the meeting point easily and our guide Ehsan arrived early. He was friendly and easygoing. He took us around to a variety of places, giving info, explaining the history and most of all answering our questions. He answered all our questions willingly whether they were about history, culture, the people or just how things work in Tehran. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone curious about Tehran and all that it holds. I loved the tour so much that the next evening I joined one of his paid tours. Join one, you won’t regret it.

I took my Russian friend to Tehran to show my city and decided to have a walking tour with Persian walk. If you have plan to visit Tehran I highly recommend you Persian Walk. First, they are the only free walking tour in Tehran that every day having tours, no matter it's rainy or sunny, and even if you go without registering or organizing in advance, like us, the guide is at the starting point always. Second, for visiting a big city like Tehran with lots of stories you should have a professional guide, otherwise you can't visit lots of places in a short time. Third, they give you plenty of useful info about Tehran and travelling around Iran. Our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, Ehsan, was passionate to show us his city and share with us loads of stories of Persian culture. Although I'm Iranian the tour was totally informative and fun for me.

Tehran Walking Tour with Ehsan was a great experience. We explored part of Tehran with him and we couldn't be more thankful with him, that day we were the only ones in the tour so he was more flexible with the itinerary and even took us to a very nice place for a nargile experience, thank you for that too! From beginning to end Ehsan provided us with super useful information for our trip which of course we used and helped us a lot. He is very attentive, kind, fun, and he has a wide knowledge of his country, we learnt a lot! If you are in Tehran, then Persian Walk is your best choice, no doubt! Thank you so much for a great tour Ehsan! Kaan and Bery

I had two tours with Feya from Persian Walk. It was my first time in Iran and it was a great experience. I had a tour of the bazaar and a few mosques for the first day and went to Tarjish on the second day. Feya explained the history of Persia and its culture along the way. She also helped me get my SIM card and exchange local currency. Iran has a long and eventful history and I loved exploring its past with Persian walk. It is quite difficult to navigate in Tehran and do any activities without knowing some Persian, so for me I wouldn’t have had such a wonderful time in Tehran without Persian Walk. The group size of the tours is often small so you’d also get a very personalized experience. I would highly recommend their tours to everyone who’s visiting Tehran.

This October, Miss Mersa took us on a tour of Golestan Palace, Bazaar and National Museum of Iran in Tehran. On this half-day tour, she gave us a lot of information about the Iranian way of living and history. The tour was amazing, and Mersa was very patient and flexible with us. Long story short - If you want to get an impression of Iranian culture with a highly educated tour guide who truly represents the famous Iranian hospitality, this tour guided by Mersa is the right choice. I highly recommend it.

My family and I really enjoyed this walking tour of old Tehran with Ehsan. He gave a really interesting introduction to Iranian history and introduced us to some parts of the bazaar and surrounding streets we had never seen before. A very good way to get to know this fascinating city better.

I participated in the walking tour "Old Tehran" with Mersa. The tour starts in front of the Golestan Palace with a nice little introduction into Iranian history. Among the stops are the Grand Basar, Imam Khomeini Mosque, Arabic and Yewish Quarter and several other places. The information about the city and the places were really informative and Mersa also gave us many insights into Iranian culture, food, habits, language etcl. She speaks very good english and is eager to help you during your stay and bring you the Iranian culture a bit closer. All in all this was a great tour and should not be missed!

Had a great tour with Eshan on my last full day in Tehran. I had already visited a few places downtown by the time we met for our tour and Eshan did make sure I got to see something different. He's quick to respond and very communicative. It was a nice day out with Eshan as we started with seeing the sunrise on a place that's called the roof of Tehran :). He's very accommodating and decided to start the day early as I suggested we should see the sunrise. Eshan is very knowledgeable about different museums in tehran so don't hesitate to ask him to visit specific museums of your interest.

We had the pleasure to experience Tehran with an amazing guide - Ehsan. He showed us many great places in Iran’s capital and explained the stories behind them. He also gave us some insight of a person who lives there. For me the tour was a life-changer. Before the tour I didn’t like Tehran that much. It was an extremely gripping tour and I also got all the answers to my questions. What’s even more, Ehsan showed us a great place to have lunch and helped us with finding a corona testing place. I am very grateful for that and totally recommend going on a tour with Ehsan. Next time I’m in Tehran I would love to go on another tour with him.

GREAT & FUN INTRODUCTION TO TEHRAN! We were very lucky to join Mersa’s free walking tour in our second day in Iran. Mersa is, besides a very knowledgeable guide, very passionate about her job. And that makes a difference. She enjoys talking about Persian culture. Also, she gave us a few recommendations for our following days in Iran that we were very happy to follow and were key to have a great experience in this amazing country. She was patient enough to wait for us for 30 minutes (my travel-mate had a minor accident when leaving the hostel) and also patient enough to teach us how to wear the scarf gracefully. Her smart tips help us to feel comfortable wearing the scarf, and also look good in the pics 😉 We wish her all the best and recommend the tour 100%

We did the Old Tehran walking tour with Feya and it was a wonderful experience. She is very knowledgeable, easygoing, caring and was able to share so much! She also takes you to some hidden jewels you would probably not find by yourself. We absolutely recommend the tour and are looking forward to do other tours with them soon. Super recomendado! Obrigado Feya, obrigado por tudo!

We had a guided tour with Feya to the grand bazar in Tehran and one with Mersa about iranian food. Both were very good and we can recommend them. They explained everything really good and helped us a lot during our travel to Iran.

We took the Old town walking tour with Mersa our guide. Mersa was a very knowledgeable, communicative and a pleasant guide. She was also very thorough with her facts and came prepared with all relevant charts, maps and pictures. She took stops at appropriate places to explain things and answer our questions. We had a great conversation with her on a lot of other subjects about Iran and she willingly spent time on that. We covered the old town of Tehran and highlights of the Jewish and Arab quarters as also the historical sights around it. This tour was also an education about Iran, it's culture, history and it's people. It was informative and enjoyable. I would recommend this tour to everyone. Thank you Mersa.
