Worst
experience
at
a
hotel
ever.
I’ve
also
previously
worked
at
an
internationally-recognized
hotel
chain
and
am
currently
in
client-facing
job
so
I
understand
the
demands
and
expectations
of
client
service.
However,
what
happened
at
this
hotel
during
our
stay
in
April
was
unforgivable.
We
were
on
a
family
trip
(group
of
10)
to
Paris,
and
after
landing
in
Paris
we
found
out
Vrbo
canceled
our
reservation
for
the
entire
stay,
we
were
able
to
book
this
hotel—and
thought
we
were
saved
for
our
first
night.
The
check
in
process
was
smooth,
and
the
lady
at
the
front
desk
(Cecil)
was
courteous
and
helpful.
My
husband
and
I
were
given
a
room
on
the
first
floor,
and
upon
entering
we
noticed
that
it
was
an
ADA
room
with
no
bathtub
or
separation
between
the
shower
area
and
the
rest
of
the
bathroom.
Usually
that’s
not
a
problem
since
you
would
expect
the
drainage
system
to
work
properly
or
that
there
is
some
elevation
in
the
floor
to
prevent
bathroom
flooding.
Within
only
5
min
of
showering,
the
floor
started
accumulating
water
that
went
beyond
the
tiled
bath
floor
area,
but
I
had
I
thought
the
water
was
at
least
draining.
However
the
water
had
actually
crept
through
the
door
and
spilled
onto
the
target
of
the
room.
We
immediately
contacted
the
front
desk,
and
Cecil
stormed
into
the
room
and
started
blaming
ME
for
blocking
and
breaking
her
shower!
I
told
her
very
calmly
that
the
drain
wasn’t
draining
fast
enough
and
Cecil
snapped
at
us
and
accused
us
of
clogging
up
the
drain
somehow
or
that
I
must
have
stood
on
top
of
the
drain
while
showering.
Wow.
Then
she
went
on
to
say
that
we
have
caused
her
to
not
able
to
sell
the
room
for
a
week
due
to
the
wet
carpet.
She
refused
to
listen
to
us
and
also
expected
us
to
stay
in
that
flooded
room
for
the
night!
We
then
took
a
video
of
the
shower
and
the
video
showed
that
within
one
minute,
the
drain
started
clogging
up
and
the
water
started
spilling
out.
At
this
point,
Cecil
wasn’t
at
the
front
desk
anymore,
but
we
showed
the
video
to
another
man
at
the
front
desk
and
he
was
appalled
and
he
quickly
gave
us
a
new
room
for
the
night—but
he
also
told
us
that
he
was
scared
of
being
yelled
at
or
get
in
trouble
with
Cecil,
who
apparently
is
the
manager
at
this
hotel.
We
didn’t
have
any
issues
checking
out
the
next
day,
probably
because
we
had
video
evidence
of
the
drainage
issue
and
how
IT
WAS
THE
HOTEL’S
FAULT.
However,
the
way
Cecil
treated
us,
blamed
us,
and
SHOUTED
at
me
was
inexcusable—and
we
will
advise
everyone
to
stay
far
away
from
this
hotel.
