Great boutique hotel few minutes from the blue mosque. Nice breakfast spread and would stay again no issues. Staff were helpful and very friendly

If possible I would have rated it 4.5. Overall we had a nice stay and the hotel offered good value for money. The room was clean. The breakfast was satisfying. The staff was helpful and nice enough. Small details here and there could be improved (the coffee, the baby bed, the price of the airport shuttle a bit more expensive than what you might get elsewhere, etc.)

I stayed at Fehmi Bey Hotel 12 years ago and I came back today to refresh my memories of this beautiful place. I have come across many sweet people in Turkey. People at Fehmi Bey hotel are the sweetest and most caring. They are home and make you feel home.

This is one of the nicest budget hotels I stayed in. The room was very nice and spacious, sparkling clean. Breakfasts are amazing! Lots of veggie options. View from the terrace is to the Marmara Sea. People who work there are absolutely top class, they will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. When I asked if it would be ok to roll off a carpet in my room so we don't trip on it, the receptionist said "Madam, this is your home now. Make it the way you like it". You can't get a better customer service!

This hotel is very good value for money in a great location, there are good and bad bits: Bad - decor could be updated Good - clean, hot water, breakfast great, staff very helpful, location, wifi, cost. The good over-weighs the bad, please remember you are not paying for the Ritz and for the price its 5 star service. Will recommend and re-book next time I am in Istanbul.

The hotel offers an excellent experience with top-notch customer service. The rooms and bathrooms are consistently clean and well-maintained, and the sheets are changed daily. Rather than the typical hotel ambiance, it provides a homely apartment feel. With 24/7 reception, the service is reliable. The breakfast, though delicious and featuring a typical Turkish spread, may become monotonous after a few days due to a lack of variety in the menu. The location is ideal, providing a great view from the restaurant, and major sightseeing places are conveniently located within a couple of hundred meters.

The people here are soooo nice! Breakfast is good! The room will be cleaned every day with freshwater. You can book the taxi to airport with fair price! And I have lost my phone in taxi, the reception guy helped me to find the taxi and got my phone back in 10min! All in all, the people here are so nice!

A lovely clean hotel within walking distance of important and breathtaking landmarks such as Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace. Provided a Turkish breakfast every morning with lovely views from the roof terrace of the sea port area as well as the view of Blue Mosque from the hotel window. Staff were welcoming and the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the rooms (we only asked them once but they did it every day!), giving us fresh towels and changing the bedsheets and leaving two complimentary water bottles every time they left. My husband and I have been left very impressed with the cleanliness and hygiene aspect of the hotel room we stayed in. 100% would recommend!

I am reviewing for the coffee shop next door! The interior is so nice, the jazz music complementing the views of alleyways. The man in front was nice, and spoke some English. The coffee is delicious!! Super creamy and they have plant based milk alternatives.

Good clean rooms and bathroom. Excellent service by the staff, super polite and helpful. Great breakfast with amazing rooftop location with beautiful views of Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia and the waterfront. One minute walk to the Blue mosque area. The only place I want to stay at when I come to Istanbul. It took 10 minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar. I love the location.

Central, very close to the Blue Mosque and other relevant sights in Istanbul. Very kind and extremely helpful manager. The rooms are not very updated, but clean and comfortable. Entering the shower cabin (a kind of very small bathtub) is a bit difficult, especially for the elderly. Breakfast not very varied, but reasonable. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Location is amazing. You are just 3 minutes away Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Very nice restaurants nearby (highly recommend Korecan Phoenix). Rooms are not so big but enough space to store your luggage. Staff was super helpful as well. Breakfast has a lot of options but we missed more options for someone with Gluten Free diet.

This lovely small hotel is in amazing location📍we walked to most of tourist attractions, surrounded by restaurants, cafes and all you need really. We stayed in the 1st floor, our view was the main street and can still see the blue mosque - breakfast was fine, good variety of Turkish cheese, fruits, bread and salad 🥗 view from the terrace is wonderful, seeing the sea with fishing boats 🛥️ Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia 🕌 We loved the room, the hotel is beautiful, staff are smiling and friendly, we really enjoyed our stay

You feel at home in this place! The people are so kind and lovely, it is a family run hotel in the heart of Istanbul's Sultanahmet district and so you get both: a kind and caring attitude from the staff and also an ideal location to base yourself for exploring Istanbul with the tram station just 5 min walk and the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque 2-3 min walk away. Special mention to Mehmet and the entire staff who looked after us and helped us get a taxi promptly when we were running really late. The breakfast is also very delicious and has a wide variety of Mediterranean food options with both vegetarian and non-veg. Best thing about breakfast is the view as well, as you can see the Blue Mosque in all its splendour sat inside the breakfast area glistening under the sun. Honestly a great find of a hotel in the heart of Istanbul.

Great holidays in Istanbul. At first we got upgrade for the room. We had amazing view to Blue Mosque. Room was very convinient, clean and comfortable. I was happy with a hot stream of water in shower - very good thing! Breakfasts were really tasty and huge and you can join it at the magic open terrace with Marmara sea. Special big thanks to the host who helped us with small transfer problems (we are so thankful for this). If you want to spend nice time in Istanbul - the best way is to book room in Fehmi bey hotel. We will return here absolutely. Sincerly, Maryna and Hlib.

Hotel at a nice location, worth the money Liked · I liked the location of the hotel! The Breakfast that is severed on the rooftop was very good! And the view astonishing! You can see the blue mosque, the ocean, the sunset and sunrise! Incredible. Disliked · The staff at the reception was ok, not too friendly but not really rude. Apart from when we left, we were told we have enough money to pay for a taxi, so this should not be a problem for us... yeah, no, keep such comments to yourself! The bahtroom had a lot of mould on the silicon, that should be redone. The beds were absolutely ok but the electricity next to the bed should be checked! All in all I can recommend this accommodation!

We had late check in but nevertheless we were warmly welcomed by the staff at the counter. The check in was hassle-free and soon enough we got to freshen up and rest. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is located at the rooftop terrace overlooking Blue mosque & the sea of Marmara. Good spread of breakfast selection. Strategic location to all the tourist attractions. Abit noisy at night but once asleep 😆 but definitely a light sleeper should ask for rooms not facing the street.

The staff very attentive, but the place is facing a building that looks haunted. It is in the city centre but the place is very narrow. The room was clean, but looks very used.

A great deal for the price! Very helpful and friendly staff who speak English, who were able to help us with questions about the city, and who also managed to organise private transport to and from the airport at the last minute! The location is superb with many things around including the Mosques a short walking distance, the rooms spacious and an incredible panoramic view from the terrace open until late. Highly recommend!
