One of the best mosques I've ever seen. Although the mosque is small in size, it is a suitable place to invoke the Creator with concentration.

This 18th-century historical mosque is located in the village of Nayabad in the Dinajpur District of Bangladesh. Constructed around 1793 AD during the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II, the mosque features walls adorned with beautiful terracotta. The mihrab is also beautifully decorated with terracotta work, showcasing a blend of Islamic and local artistic culture and style. Situated near Kantaji Temple, the mosque is accessible by car, auto, or other vehicles. A recommended place to visit if you are in Dinajpur.

Nayabad Mosque is located in Nayabad village in Kaharole Upazila of Dinajpur District, Bangladesh, beside the Dhepa River. It was built in 1793 CE during the rule of Mughal ruler Shah Alam II. As indicated by local belief it was built by the Muslim architectural workers who came from Persia to build the Kantajew Temple for their own use. The building is oblong, with three entrances on one side. The roof has three domes, and at each corner an octagonal tower with a cupola (two of the cupolas are now missing). The outer dimensions of the building are 12.45 metres (40.8 ft) by 5.5 metres (18 ft), with walls that are 1.10 metres (3.6 ft) thick.

Nayabad Mosque is located in Nayabad village of Ramchandrapur union in Kaharol upazila of Dinajpur district. It is located on the west bank of the river Dhepa, 20 km northwest of the district headquarters. The mosque was established on 1.15 bighas of land. According to the inscription in Persian on the entrance of the mosque, the mosque was built during the reign of Emperor Shah Alam II in 1200 BCE (1793 AD). When the famous Kantji Temple was built in the mid-eighteenth century, Muslim architects from the West built Mokam in the nearby village of Nayabad and built the mosque there.

Beautiful, ancient, cute mosque. They have added some benches, shades recently. So tourists or anyone can come here and sit and enjoy. It is very close to Kantojiu Mondir so anyone who visits Kantojiu should definitely come and see this. It's worth the while.

Nayabad Mosque is a three dome tiny mosque which have three entrances from the east. Terracotta plaques have been used in decoration of the mosque. The Mosque from Mughal times is a unique one though pales in comparison to Kantajew Temple located not far away. There is a grave of an unknown person in the premises of the mosque. Local people believe, this is the grave of Kalu Khan, the master architect of Kantaji Temple.

A historical holy site for Muslims. Both Kantajew temple and Nayabad masjid were designed by the same architect and both of these sites are built with terracotta. The environment is very pleasant.

Nawabad Mosque is beside the Kantajew Temple. You may go there by an autorickshaw which will take 50/-. The best thing I found is that the public toilet made there is very well maintained.

It is an oblong three-domed mosque with octagonal towers at the four corners. There are three arched entrances to enter the mosque.Terracotta plaques have been used in decoration of the mosque. At present there are about 104 terracotta plaques rectangular in shape, used in the surface decoration of the mosque walls. The platform of the mosque is enclosed by a low brick wall with only one access from the east. On either side of the mosque are to be seen a number of tombs each of found fixed over the central doorway of the mosque.

The Nayabad Mosque was built contemporaneously with the Kantjiu Temple. There was no settlement or plantation in this area before, it was named Nayabad due to the new plantation. Kantjiu is also known as Mistri Para as the abode of construction workers or masons of the temple. The maharaja built this mosque for the prayers of the Muslim construction workers or masons of Kantjiu temple. The mosque is a traditional mosque with three domes and two rows.
