I’m being very generous with the stars on this review. For one the hotel itself is actually very beautiful. The staff was also very pleasant. HOWEVER- we are diamond members and you literally could not offer me to ever stay at this hotel again. Walls and ceilings are PAPER THIN. I could hear every single word from every conversation above me and beside me. Also my second night, the fire alarm kept going off! I also think paying 40$ to park (20$ per night) in a hotel you are paying to stay in is absolutely ridiculous. Again, while beautiful - this hotel is a big fat NO from me. I will be contacting customer service as well.

I had a great stay here. The staff is fantastic. At the restaurant, I need to eat gluten free and Makita and Germany were SO accommodating, asking questions to make sure everything was safe for me. I really appreciate that. And they were so pleasant. Great staff and great breakfast. One star off the room for a small stain on the pillow case. Everything else was wonderful, including the gentleman who checked us in. Would stay again.

This place is simply amazing!!! I dug through a ton of places between hotels and airbnbs and landed on this spot. It does not disappoint!! We traveled with a 1 1/2 yr old and felt safe. The place is incredibly clean-smells clean and wonderful, great price, great food, super easy parking & great location! The staff is what truly drives it home though. Every single person was so nice and helpful, a breath of fresh air for customer service. Matt & Mitch were super great and made our experience extra awesome!! We can both be a touch picky and we were definitely beyond thrilled & satisfied here. What a great time it’s been in KC!

I was absolutely surprised by how nice and clean the hotel was. It looks like practically. No one has even stayed here yet. A nice bar when you walk in, a spacious open floor plan. Very kind customer service, and Concierge. But definitely stay again and refer friends and family.

This is a beautifully renovated hotel located in an area that’s very close to all major highways downtown. The food and cocktails at the bar are very high quality and delicious. The service and the staff are all very genuine and truly care about their guest’s experience. The property is clean and very well maintained. Rooms are spotless and beds are very comfortable. But truly the customer service is on another level and offers a more personal feel that you don’t often see in the industry anymore. I would highly recommend you stay here on your next visit to Kansas City.

This is my second trip to KCMO and my first time staying at a hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and social as we came and went through the lobby. Matt at the front desk was hospitable upon check in. If you stay at this hotel you have to visit their hotel bar and talk to Mitch. He was the best bartender (the best!) and a great source of information on things to do and places to go in KC. Overall, I would recommend this location for those wanting to visit/stay in KC!

Fantastic location! Close to I-70 and other main veins of the city and lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. Very clean, comfortable and accommodating hotel with breakfast and easy parking! Felt safe and comfortable. Only negative is they don't allow dogs, but I guess you can't get it all. Will return!

I rarely like to take the time to write out reviews but I feel like the service of this location deserves it! From checking in to breakfast, every employee we bumped into said hello or were just friendly in general, it always makes my day to see employees doing their job with a genuine smile. I forgot the name of the breakfast attendant but she was so nice and made sure everything was stocked up and fresh! The rooms were spacious and clean, will definitely be staying here again!

Overall, our stay was a great experience. We were initially greeted by Matt at the front desk who was very friendly and made the check-in process easy. If you visit, go speak with Mitch at the bar, he provided our group with a great selection of things to do, places to see, and made some great cocktails. We definitely recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again.

I recently stayed here, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming and attentive. The lobby had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Matt and Marsha took care of me and my friend immediately accommodating us when we had a minor issue with our original room. The new room was extremely clean and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hotel with top notch service.

The hotel staff is so friendly! They were extremely helpful and communicated well. The bar and food located downstairs is a great atmosphere and the food actually tastes great. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is also great, about 5-10 minutes away from most things downtown. Enjoyed my stay here

Anytime I've visited Kansas City from Lincoln, NE., I have stayed at this hotel. This hotel is extremely convenient to downtown Kansas City, close to any & all amenities, to P&L, the Event Center, & super easy to find as well. My most recent stay has been the absolute best yet!! The hotel has been recently remodeled & it is beautiful!! I was not expecting to walk into a freshly renovated hotel, but it is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are up-to-date & very high end looking, with brand new furniture, decor, amenities, etc. The cleanliness of the rooms is definitely a 10/10 as well. The remote control to the television was wiped down, wrapped, & labeled clean with hand sanitizer wipes next to it. The rooms have complimentary waters & Dove products as well. The lobby downstairs is stunning as well & has a built in bar now too! I was also greeted, very promptly by a very kind, courteous, & helpful lady named, Danitra in the hotel lobby to check us in. I will continue to stay here & only here when I travel to KC in the future!! Thank you for wonderful service, staff, & accommodations. ~ Kiah

The hotel was clean, updated, and the staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We were a large group in town for the con and they made sure our rooms were well cleaned every day and that we had extra toiletries to accommodate. As well as allowing us parking access. They even were welcome to us watching a movie in the lobby TV space and helped us get set up. Their parking lot was a bit small but it's as big as it could be for the lot they have. And it may only be an issue for Convention times since they are extra busy. They DO have an overflow lot across the street but guests often disregard that and just start parking in the hotel lot wherever they can. Even on sidewalks or in space not marked for parking. Which is more a testament to how lazy people are but is worth noting.

Everything was great but the breakfast could have been better. Our server was fantastic though and the bloody marys he made us were great! Went during Chiefs SB parade. Great location!

This hotel recently opened and should not have received an occupancy permit! I was in a room with no heat during a cold night. Management was incredibly rude, unprofessional, and slow to act (Ashley - Assistant General Manager) . So much so, that at 2am in the morning, I left and went to another hotel. I attempted to speak to the general manager on three separate occasions to no avail. Apparently, knowing how to work a phone or return a phone call is not a required job skill. While I understand growing pains, failure to swiftly act and reasonably accommodate guests is unacceptable. I should have taken the hint prior to check-in when so many other guests were attempting to get their door handle to even function. Additionally, if you're an IHG rewards member, this hotel doesn't honor status. I can only assume the positive reviews on here were bought. Do better!

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for a long time. The room was super clean. The bathroom was spotless. Julie, from the front desk, was friendly and cordial during my endless requests and inquiries. Julie is the epitomy of excellent customer service. A+++++++++++

Julie and Geno were very helpful! Julie helped me with finding my towel that was missed with the hotel’s towel during cleaning. Geno treated me fairly when my food order was missed up. I really appreciate them both. Thank you for making my stay remarkable.

I will not be staying with them again. While, the rooms were nice, I got absolutely no sleep. The thin walls, my room right by the stairwell and all I heard was that door slam all night. The next morning there was no hot water so it was a very cold shower. They also take out an extra $100 that I was told would drop off. However, we are on day 5 of Holiday Inn holding my money hostage. Absolutely will not stay at this Holiday Inn again.

Amazing! The front desk Julie is outstanding. The rooms are clean and the bed super comfy. Along with the breakfast is good portion and tasty. There are a lot of nice hotels but the ones with friendly people like Julie makes it awesome.
