I had an overall pleasant experience here during my two night stay. I was not recognized as a Hilton Diamond Member when I checked in. That doesn't really bother me much, but it might bother some people a lot. Hilton has always been my preferred hotel when I travel. I am on the road once or twice a month, and chose Hilton whenever I can. I am happy to see that Hilton is increasing the food allowance amount to come closer to covering breakfast. I have been used to the complimentary breakfast for years now, so the change wasn't welcome especially when it falls really short. The room was clean and quiet, the meeting room was good and the lunch fantastic. Thank you for an overall pleasant experience.

Conveniently located within a 6 min drive from the airport. Shuttle to airport runs every 15 min. Facilities typical of any standard Hilton. While the rooms are fine (could have done a better job cleaning), the overall building is a bit dated. For the light sleepers, try to avoid a even number room as those tend to be more exposed to interstate 29.

We expected more out of a Hilton hotel. First, they charge $10 a night for parking and breakfast is $17 a person. After checking in, the staff directed us to an elevator when our room was on the first floor. The bathtub in our room didn’t drain. The ceiling paint is peeling from what looks like water damage. The bedding was ripped. The wall was written on and dirty. It seems as if they didn’t have us checked in for 2 nights, though my reservation listed the correct two nights. The Wi-Fi registration didn’t work on the second day, and housekeeping walked into our room at 8am the next morning despite us not being checked out yet. The food in the restaurant was delicious, though service was pretty slow.

I wouldn’t stay here if I were you. The manager (9/13/2022 6:30 pm) was super sarcastic and not wanting to help at all. I had a really long day traveling across the country for work and I was only asking if they had a quieter room because I am a light sleeper. She made me feel like a huge bother to her - I thought she had a really bad attitude for being in a service industry. Really disappointed!!

I am a diamond member which basically means I've stayed at a bunch of Hilton hotels mostly in the U.S. but some international. I read reviews, and the hotel is never as bad as some nitpicking people make it out to be. Unfortunately, things were worse than I ever dreamed. I love Hilton, so it pains me to say, this is easily the worst Hilton or any hotel that I have ever stayed at. There was 1 thing I loved which was the lighted magnified mirror in the bathroom. That's pretty much it. They did have an airport shuttle which I really appreciate, but driver was so miserable. I went and greeted her enthusiastically, but when I spoke to her, she did not respond even though we were looking her in the face with smiles. I mean no words. That's very awkward. Regardless, we made it to the hotel to encounter another unhappy front desk worker. I've concluded that they have to deal with so many complaints, they just hate their jobs. Besides the frown and very few words, I had to beg for my waters. She successfully intimidated me from asking for my other diamond benefits. I could have dealt with all that but when we arrived at the room, we had to splash through standing water on the flooded carpet at the entrance of the room. It was quite the challenge trying to jump over or avoid this to get to the bathroom or entrance of room. I can't believe they actually let someone stay in this dilapidated room. Housekeeping had to know this as they were tracking back and forth through the water. You can smell it molding. There was make up or dirt or something black all over the bed sheets. It looked like mascara all over. I removed the top sheet and tossed it over where it immediately was saturated by the wet carpet. I somehow deleted that photo probably to block out the trauma. The air conditioning wasn't great but compared to other issues, I didn't care, and we got a good laugh at the crooked TV about to fall off the wall. It was quite a stressful night in this unsanitary room. We couldn't wait to leave and never come back. Someone needs to come in and start from scratch and just care. I don't think anyone cares about anything at this sad place.

Quite sad honestly. Owners have done what they can to modernize, and the rooms themselves aren't all that bad. Felt clean, but the place is just run down. Updated bathrooms and walk in showers are really nice, and thats an update I've seen since the last time I stayed here. It rained overnight, and upon leaving my room and walking down the hallway on the 11th floor, buckets were sitting all along the hallway collecting roof leaks. Elevators are old and rickety, floors are slick and feel dirty, and the painted-over wallpaper is peeling up all throughout the hotel. It's a shame because a multimillion dollar renovation recently wasn't nearly enough to bring it up to modern standards. This hotel needs to be torn down to the studs and rebuilt. It's really in an odd place too, by absolutely nothing and still a 8 minute drive from the airport.

The room was moderately clean. Looked like someone sat on the bed and all glass was smudged and dirty in bathroom and left us feeling uneasy. If you are OCD about cleanliness, skip this hotel. Light bulbs burnt out. Front desk was polite but nothing extra in kindness. Didn't seem to care either way that we chose this hotel. Not on par with Hilton brand. Water stains in shower, shabby furniture. Wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms and hallways are very hot. The air conditioner didn't have enough power to cool the room. We had to go get 3 fans just so we could be comfortable. The door to our room was difficult to open and close. It had a really pretty view, though, with floor to ceiling windows. And it seemed clean.

when we choose Hilton it is because we expect a higher service than other Hotels and we usually get it but this time it was a nightmare, sticky carpets, dirty bathrooms, clogged toilets, lousy customer service, we asked for the garbage to be taken out and they never came…. We are very disappointed with this Hotel. For sure if decide to stay, never choose room 615 or room 617.

Disgusting. From the broken front door to the shuttle “service” our entire experience with this “Hotel” was disgusting. We got the large deluxe king suite for our young family. We only stayed for a few hours and I grossly overpaid for what I thought was going to be a high-end hotel. The room had dirty furniture, broken lamps and is pretty small for a “large” room. The shuttle driver put my family down (multiple times) for traveling with our kids, little does he know that we travel by air with our kids often. Overall I’m extremely disappointed to say that I should have booked a room elsewhere. This is just a low quality hotel - not like any Hilton I’ve ever stayed in. We will never be back!

Everyone was extremely friendly. My room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The facility isn't shoddy, but it's a little dated and a refresh wouldn't hurt.

We were in town for a reunion. Our room was efficient. The bedding was crisp and clean. Not crazy about the pillows but that's hard to please all. The shower had soft, instant on hot water and luxury hair and body products which I loved. The front desk staff were pleasant. It was a good choice for us. I just wish they served complimentary breakfast.

The staff was friendly and helpful in setting up for our group. The food at the restaurant was tasty and served hot to the table. The price was about average for this the way things are now. Drinks were pretty pricey at $12 per drink. The room was clean but it was dated and was hard to control the room temperature. But it was enjoyable while we were there.

Next to airport shuttle ran every 15 minutes. Staff friendly and helpful. Food served at restaurant arrived at table hot and tasty. Hotel was clean. Plenty of areas to sit and chat with friends. With that being said the rooms were dated but clean. No microwave in the rooms.

I had high expectations since this is a Hilton hotel. The staff was nice and so were the amenities, including the shuttle to and from the airport. However, upon entering the room I noticed quickly that it was not properly cleaned. The toilet had a stain on it and something floating in it. There was hair in the tub and on the counter. There were food and drink stains on the night stand and desk area. The carpet had stuff on it and there was a funny smell to the room. I called to have housekeeping come up and they said someone would come up, but no one ever showed. I was only there for the night until my early morning flight so, I didn't push the issue.

Don’t let the nice lobby fool you - this is definitely not a normal Hilton! The location was sketchy and I felt unsafe outside. My room was disgusting. It was dirty, had water damage on the ceiling and walls, and it had a broken shower. Also the disgusting shower drain was full of someone else’s hair (see picture🤢). Extremely disappointed. Will not be returning. I only stayed the one night because it was late and I had to. I checked out as soon as the sun rose next day and went to an AirBnB instead.

Went to celebrate. Left early in disappointment. While I understand that maintenance is difficult. The standards for a room at $200+ a night even now are much higher. The furniture was soiled looked like an accumulated amount of sweat / oil on the back and arms of the sleeper sofa. The lights were not 100% functional. The tables, desks were worn with chips and scuffing. The room though spacious just wasn't clean enough. The electrical outlet on the lamp with a cracked shade was broken. The outlet sparked when used as a cellphone charger was plugged in. We asked for a different room. The next room was much smaller and did not have a sleeper sofa as the "deluxe" room was supposed to have. The in room entertainment was local cable channels. The movie package channels were all in Spanish. Parking is $11 a night under the incidentals fee according to the front desk. Decided to choose different accommodations for the celebration as the price was too much for the quality of the stay. The late cancellation fee was $144 as we had checked in and then chose not to stay. All-in-all honestly surprised me how much this location has declined. 5 years ago - nice 7 years ago - pleasant 10 years ago great time 2023 paying $144 for the option to just leave felt like a much better option.

Front Desk Staff were very friendly and helpful. allowed a really early check in which we were grateful for as we were dealing with our second round of flight cancellations. Room was very clean and neat. Bathroom was very clean and nice as well. Prices were very comparable to lesser hotels in the area. Dining was available in house and had decent choices and tasted good. Shuttle was running every 15 min to the airport and was a short trip. Would recommend this place.

It was okay at best. The finish was coming off. I called multiple times to tell them we needed a king bed and they assured me there would to arrive to 2- double beds which would have cost me less. The room was OK nothing what I have come to expect from Hilton. I was given a free late check out at 1:30 which was great. I won't stay here again in the future most likely.

Room was clean for the most part. Bed comfy. Furniture had a visibly worn out, used feel to it, past it’s due date to be replaced. I never use a coffee pot in any hotel I’ve stayed but did look into the water reservoir on this one and had debris inside. Hotels should remove these and centralize hot water accessibility. Shower didn’t drain properly and mentioned to GM who happened to be available while having coffee and mentioned this. Issue was resolved with the clump of hair and whatever else waiting for me in the toilet after my return from the day out. At first I couldn’t figure out what was in the toilet but closer inspection was clearly a hairball from the shower drain. Hotel needs more than one person to work the bar, wait tables, bus tables, prep to go orders during dinner. There was a long wait to get a sandwich after traveling all day. There’s no complimentary breakfast so bring your Starbucks reward card or take a chance dining in the hotel restaurant. Hopefully there’s more staff during the day. Even though on top floor and away from elevators, there was still noises coming from whatever is running all hours of the day/night. Older hotel buildings make a lot of strange noises.

We didn't stay at the hotel. We were in a room with an exterior door to an overgrown area of flowers. There were ants. The carpet was wet from the door past where the raised A/C unit was. Couldn't tell if the water was from outside or the A/C. Because of the water there was mold along the wall close to the floor. We told the front desk staff and they said they would come right down to check. No one came. We had a door key to the room and there was only 1 person who could fix it. Even a master key of a maintenance person didn't work. The public restroom we used was well cleaned, but one stall was out of order and another one the door would not close properly, so there were limited facilities. I only had food at one large group setting. There was a bean soup (not usually my favorite) that was really pretty good. Salad with chicken and for dessert either a carrot cake or a citrus cake. Those who had the citrus cake either didn't really care for the cake or they didn't care for the frosting on the cake. No real complaints just didn't care for it. I had the carrot cake. It was good, but I've never had carrot cake on a plate decorated with raspberry sauce. Those flavors didn't go well together in my opinion. I would not base your decision about staying here on my experience. I would probably stay here myself, but I would start with a short stay.

Hotel keys don't work, and you have to be let in by engineering. Rooms reek of mildew and mold. Stained carpets. Stained drapes. Hallway noise and highway noise. When you stay at a Hilton you expect a certain level of quality. This place is no where near Hilton quality. This is roadside motel quality.

I stayed here because I had an early flight the next day. I got to the hotel early and my room wasn't ready but they were able to provide me with another room. I found the inside of the hotel and my room to be very clean and the bed was comfortable with the room being very spacious. When I accessed my room at 3pm I turned the AC down to 65. When I went to bed at 10pm it was no where near 65 in the room and I turned it down to 60, the lowest setting. I woke up hot during the night. It would be nice if the TV had a main channel guide channel instead of breaking up the guide between multiple channels. The shuttle service was great. At the recommendation of the front desk I returned my car the night before and called for a pickup. They were there in less than 15 minutes. I used the shuttle at 4:45am to the airport and it was very easy and quick. After I returned to the hotel from dinner I went to access my room with my physical key card and it didn't work. I believe it got messed up by my earbud case. I went to the desk, told them my room number and that I needed a new key. The desk clerk generated two keys for me and never even bothered to ask me my name or ask me for ID. The hotel is close to the airport but I did could barely hear the planes. I did use the fitness room which is adequately stocked but the TV's on the treadmills don't get any channels.

Their "queen" room didn't have queen- sized beds, they said there aren't any queen sized beds at this location. No microwave in the room, the air conditioner wasn't working, and there's no free continental breakfast - not even on Sundays. Ice machines only operable on floors 7 and 9. Parking lot was in terrible shape. Hotel was dirty, pool area was littered and not well- maintained, there was a light fixture floating in the water with the electrical cables still hooked up. The pool layout was nice, half indoors and half outdoors, but was very cold water. Not good for the price, go somewhere else!

Location is right next to airport. Huge hotel with convention center. They have 2 choices of rooms: 2 double beds with shower and bath tub or king with shower only. Bathroom is well lit . They only supplied two towels . I here was no coffee or coffee cup in room. But they did have a coffee maker. Ac worked great and enough plugs in room. The bed was ok, but mattress has seen better days. The pool area is very basic and in need of a lot of work. No towels at pool.

The room and front desk staff were amazing. The eatery was phenomenal. The only bad part was housekeeping. Even after saying "no thank you" to them, they still tried to enter my room. If I would not have engaged the door lock it would have been a very uncomfortable situation as I was trying to shower.

My room's TV and one lamp wasn't working. Also fridge wasn't on, but they sent someone right away to fix it all! J. was great! Nice young man! I was able to get a great turkey club and potatp salad to go from hotel restaurant. The shuttle brought my daughter from the airport without delay! Excellent hotel and service! Also, there is a Starbucks in the hotel, but they don't use the app so bring money.

I'm a Hilton honors gold member. I'm used to great service but Bailey and Roxanne have gone above and beyond. I spent 3 hours in line at the airport only to miss a early flight and I was exhausted and stranded. They did everything they could to make sure I was able to get on my next day flight and put me at ease. The food at the bar was perfect and Roxanne know how to serve to perfection. I'm used to Aspen service which is phenomenal and they exceeded that. I'm very fortunate to have gone to the Hilton Kansas city and will be back!!! Thank you Bailey and Roxanne, the Hilton is lucky to have you!!!

If there was an option for negative stars, I would have chosen -3. This was by far the worst hotel experience my family and I have ever had. We were on a "staycation" and chose this Hilton based on the reviews. I can honestly say that I think every review written about this place is probably fake, with the exceptions of the poor ones. For what we paid for our room the rooms should have been way nicer and the amenities, much better. Our room was small and the furniture had tears and look like they were very worn out pieces of cracked pleather. The ice machine was broken on our floor, there was no option for room service despite the fact that there was a restaurant and bar in the hotel. The restaurant didn't have half of what was on their menu, there was no hot tub in the pool area, or an option to have a room with a jetted tub! Also, NOT included in the ridiculous price of the room, is breakfast!!! At least at a Comfort Inn or many other lower priced hotels have a FREE breakfast. The only thing nice that I can say about this hotel and our stay here was the mini shampoo, conditioner and lotion in the bathroom. We travel quite a bit and this was our first time and our last staying at a Hilton. Never again!!!

We stayed at the nearby Best Western because all other hotels were booked...the Best Western shuttle service drivers did not show up to work, and due to weather no taxis or Ubers were available. I called Hilton and they offered to allow us to use their shuttle service to get to our flight on time! Excellent customer service, and we will use their hotel any chance we get.

I checked in late in the evening. It was freezing cold outside, and I wanted to stay near the airport (not travel there the next morning for my flight) in case we got the snow storm they were expecting that, and that way I would be at the airport. I kept waking up from the cold room. I made sure the heat was set properly. It was just blowing cold air. Repeatedly, I tried to get heat to come out, but there was only cold air. I even took a hot shower at 1 am trying to “thaw” out. Finally, at 3 am I called the front desk to see if I could get the shuttle to the airport. I got dressed, and went to the airport much earlier than I had planned where I could be warm. It was such a waste of my Hilton points that night. I would have been warmer at a cheap hotel.

  • 1/5 Gidget J. 2 years ago on Google
The front desk is friendly and very helpful. And the bed was soft. We enjoyed sleeping. Then the next morning, I woke up and tried to get out as fast as possible. I rolled over and opened my eyes, and there was a bed bug crawling on my 3 year old. The stay was ok and average until that. I will never come back to a Hilton property

  • 5/5 Zach T. 2 years ago on Google
They were the only shuttle running 24/7. We had a delayed flight and Hilton saved the day. Rooms were very clean and nice. Great deal for the money. The breakfast was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
