Not so great. The managers were nice and pretty chill, but the condition of the hotel was pretty bad. The entire hotel reeks of smoke, mildew, and even vomit (had to change rooms). Outside of the hotel, currently, smells of sewage. It’s not very well kept outside either, so you know what you’re getting into before you go inside. The rooms were decent, the tvs are small and are good enough for TV watching or streaming, but that’s about it. The rooms have a microwave and fridge also, which is always appreciated. The only positives here are the chill hotel staff and the low prices. Make this a one-night stay thing, if you can.

My boyfriend and I chose this hotel because we were getting two rooms for just a weekend getaway and it was affordable. The hotel lobby is neat and clean looking, and the staff was really nice and accommodating. However, we didn't stay our intended two nights, we checked out after the first night. The hallways reeked of weed smell, my neighbor had their TV insanely loud when they weren't in the room and I heard them come back in the middle of the night talking loud and screaming. There was no circulation in the room so it was very stuffy (even with the AC on). In my boyfriends room his bathroom fan didn't work, a light bulb and the coffee maker was stolen from the room. Neither of our rooms had a phone to call the front desk. After the first night my boyfriend was going to switch rooms, and the staff was very kind and accommodating to switch his room, his new room still missed a light bulb, phone, the A/C didn't work at all, and the bathroom fan still didn't work. **Because it is a sketchy, industrial area I was going to see if I could switch rooms to be closer to him and because it smelled like someone smoked weed IN my room and I don't smoke weed. We walked to the front desk and laying on the sidewalk there was a used bloody tampon. That was the nail in the coffin for both of us and we decided to cancel our second night and went to a completely different hotel chain. We have stayed in Choice hotels before and they are normally very nice and clean kept, but this specific hotel is not nice at all and is not cared for well. We were overall disappointed and will not stay at this hotel again. I gave 3 stars only because the beds were really comfortable and the staff was nice. Otherwise, don't stay in this hotel!

20 minutes in and out! Bedbugs! Disgusting. Smokey, walls rotten and moldy in hallways, exterior door locked shut. No elevator, no air in hallways. No phone in room, deadbolt non functional. This place needs to be shut down. How is this dump even health department approved!?

Nasty food on the walls the ceiling above the shower was caving in beds. Had cigarette burns in them and the mattresses have yellow stains refrigerator didn’t work microwave wasn’t cleaned out. AC didn’t work and the front desk clerk barely spoke any English and didn’t care when we told him about these problems he just said OK. If I could I would give it a zero or negative it is the worst hotel I have ever seen!!!!

I typically do not give reviews good or bad, but this hotel was beyond deceiving. Do not stay here you will not enjoy your stay I repeat do not stay here. There was so many things wrong it would take me pages to describe all the things that made this stay such a bad one. I will say that they asked all guest to leave because the water was broken upon attempting to get our refund they said we needed to call some number to get our refund despite asking for our cash back which we were denied. When we did get our money back they charged some outrages fees and shorted us money. WARNING DO NOT STAY AT THIS QUALITY INN. If I could I would give 0 stars.

STOP 🛑 DO NOT STAY! When we arrived they informed us the original pool times (listed online and quoted by their company on the phone) had been changed so we missed our opportunity to swim 🏊‍♀️ that evening. Despite having a hot tub on their listing there is not one. We were then informed that they would be charging us an additional $100 and we wouldn’t be getting it back for 3-5 business days. We drove around the building to our entrance and noticed very derelict fence and building. We went to our NONSMOKING room to be hit in the face with smoke smell. When we got to our room and found stained sink tops, gaping 🕳️ holes in bathroom ceiling where a vent should be. Trim around doorways we broken. We turned on the bathtub faucet to rust colored water and no plug to take a bath 🛀 if we actually wanted to. When we went to the lobby in the morning we discovered no a/c in lobby or breakfast 🥞 area. The breakfast consisted of frozen pancakes, pastries, and cereal. No protein like eggs or yogurt. After discovering the drink machine wasn’t working I was directed across the room where I almost fell due to the floor. HUGE safety violations. Soggy under floor that had give to it as you walked over it, with broken /buckled laminate flooring. We came out to the lobby to report it to only discover skylight that was filthy and cracked with mold/mildew that was all around the base of the fireplace. No elevator but second floors.

Thete is coffee in the rooms and the main room looked clean. However, the bathroom door is sprung and won't close, the bathtub faucet leaks and there's hair left in the tub. We missed having a closet or anywhere to hang coats. The beds looked clean though and were comfortable.

To whom it may concern, Our stay here has been completely unpleasant. The water pressure in the toilet was so low, that nothing would go down. There was no plunger available in our room and the front desk could not provide one either. There were not even towels at the front desk, so the gentleman had to go to another room and get towels . By that time there was water all over the floor and I had to take it upon myself to turn the water off to the toilet. The front desk attendant said he could not do anything until the following morning, so we had to use the lobby bathroom. We paid for a room where going to the bathroom should not have been an issue, we were not offered any reductions to our rate for the issue. When the next shift arrived, he allowed the maintenance man to enter our room without a mask. We had to ask twice for the gentleman to put a mask on. The other man accompanying him was very rude to us, as if the toilet situation was our fault. All the maintenance man did was use a plunger but the toilet continued to back up because of a water pressure issue. The hotel's change machine is broken and the front desk claims they did not have change or bills they could give us to use the laundry facility. We had to use the Vending machine to get change. When we washed clothes, the water in the machines come out black and they also leave a foul odor.

Badly run down. Smoke detector ripped out of ceiling. Hair dryer ripped out of wall. Sink cracked, tiles missing, no sink plug. Safety latch ripped off door frame. Furniture stained and dirty. Most lights didn't work. Loose outlets in the walls. Air conditioner filthy. We arrived late - saving graces were clean bedding, clean (if poorly maintained) bathroom and clean terry. We slept and moved on early.

The reviews are pretty accurate. The place is run down. The stucco was missing in multiple places on the ceiling of my room. Shody attempts to patch damaged walls and the place had a definite odor. The smell out front is true! It smells like they have a sewage issue. This place was close to my delivery so, it was great in that respect! If you're looking for a clean place with all the amenities, don't come here! You will be disappointed!

Very nice people, great location, decent pool Couple issues, (remote not working, shower not hot) but they took care of them.. It could use an update.. but if you want a cheap motel with a pool, this is your place, just don't expect the Ritz-Carlton, and fyi, "hot breakfast" equals pancakes, no meat or eggs. We only ate there once, and mostly opted for the nearby McDonald's for breakfast.

Our purpose of coming to the city was to bar hop (we used Uber). We arrived at the hotel early evening. The lobby, parking lot, and property were super clean. The room we stayed in was super clean. Everything in the room worked as it should (lights, heater, fridge, etc). The staff were awesome and friendly. If you stay here, please keep in mind this is an older hotel. Decor was a little outdated (we didn't stay for the decor), and if you think real hard, you will remember when hotels had smoking rooms. With that being said, I am a smoker, a burn hole here and there, or where a guest has left a cigarette on something, really doesn't bother me. My main purpose was to stay in a clean, friendly, and functioning hotel. I will stay here again on my next trip to the city. A perk for me... it was easy to get to and not in a congested area.

We all love a cheap room right? Well, trust me when I tell you, this is not the place you want to be!!!!! I stayed for two months here with my fiance and 3kids for my fiances work. We left the room thinking our things were safe inside right? WRONG! someone broke into our room and took everything we owned. I'm talking social security cards, my kids toys, my prenatals, toothpaste, our xboxs, EVERYTHING WE OWNED WAS GONE!!! I'm 31 weeks pregnant and had a horrible panic attack while trying to explain to my kids how I was going to replace all their toys, shoes and clothes. The staff said he didn't have access to the cameras and tried multiple times to get ahold of the manager and he did not care to help so now we are forced to take further action. Also the AC leaks all over the carpet so mildew galore and our sink, bath and toilet leaked like crazy! Please pay a few extra dollars somewhere else.

Horrible hotel! Breakfast is a complete joke. I was so embarrassed as I had my parents stay in a room. Rooms are dirty and outdated! All the key card readers seem to be broken. Check-in staff does not speak English!

Been here many times. Staff is very friendly and nice to help you. The area isn't the best alot of transients causing trouble other than that they are updating the rooms and are cleaning up the place physically and people wise. They have done a great job taking care of rifraf trying to make it a safe place to stay. I stay there a lot and would go back anytime

There was vomit on the shower curtain and some females long dark hair still on the pillows and sheets along with her hair tie. It was like they didnt even clean the room after she left. gross gross GROSS!!!! Even at the great deal I got for night, I would have rather slept in my car. I power napped on the chair after finding her hair on the pillows and top part of sheets. I was to scared of what I might find if I pulled the covers back which had burn holes in the lower left corners.

The staff are rude, the bed had black hair and stains on it, No smoke detector in our room, the room is dusty, plastered unpainted holes on the walls, the towel rack is falling down in the bathroom and the musty smell is overwhelming. I have traveled extensively and have stayed at many hotels during my travels, I will never forget this one for how unlike the website photos it truly is!

Do not stay here. Terrible location near industrial area with bad smells. Hotel is in terrible shape and most importantly advertise pet from website and once there do not allow pets. They also charge additional $100 deposits. Worst place ever. Motel 6 is the Hilton compared to this place.

  • 3/5 Rebecca C. 6 months ago on Google
They have a nosey staff, maybe for good reason. But they did go above n beyond because my price line did not tell me about cash deposit. God bless that security guard that man is a great person and saw the good in me as I saw and felt his own positive radiance. Thank you kindly sir

Do not bother-run down, off freeway; noisy. Checking in, I was told they stopped taking pets the week before. When I booked via Expedia, it was noted as pet friendly. After booking, I called to confirm a specific pet room as often they are limited. No problem-all rooms are pet friendly...not. Rebooked Super 8, better location, clean, quiet-off inerstate-pool, Good breakfast, friendly staff. Cannot recommend This Quality Inn to anyone

Absolutely 100% do not stay here. My truck was parked outside IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. And was broken into and when I went to the front desk to ask for the camera footage I was told that the manager would have to pull them, called 3 hours later, still not manager. Drove over there to get a refund and magically the manager was there. He basically told me he absolutely would not help me with the camera footage unless KCPD wanted it. The room was actually clean, no complaints on that. But the rest of the hotel was disgusting and in a horrible area. Please, ignore the price and DO NOT STAY HERE.

The only good thing i can say is that the front desk was helpful and understanding. Otherwise, i got out of my car and smelled sewage. The location of the hotel itself is secluded and away from everything else. When I entered the room it seemed half decent but when I looked at the door it was missing the door half of the security bar that prevents someone opening it from the outside (which made me feel extremely unsafe due to the ancient looking car readers. NOT TO MENTION THERE WAS A GOOD CHANCE THERE WAS BED BUGS. The matress was stained, and I found small dots underneath the matress on the thing the matress sits on. The floor was beyond dirty as well, and the bathroom was bare bones.... if they're still remodeling, this last point is acceptable. Others, definitely a downer for me.

My room was clean but it looked like some drywall damage was evident. The vending machines were outdated & not in operable condition. The continental breakfast was a joke. Some of the hallways had cigarette remains on the floor. Overall, I must say it was ok but a lot of changes are needed.

  • 3/5 Mary G. 10 months ago on Google
It did us ok for the night we stayed there. The room was musty smelling and I think due to carpet wet from the ac. Our girls found things behind the beds. No trash cans in the bathroom. It did have a nice tv and a small fridge. The breakfast food that they had was really a nice thing.

  • 1/5 Ava F. 10 months ago on Google
Don't go here. The main guy is beyond rude. They pick and choose what days they want to let people swim in the pool. The rooms leak from the AC and the bathroom shower and toilet. Breakfast does not change (nasty frozen pancakes, raisin cereal, questionable milk from a metal pitcher). I stayed here for 13 days while on vacation for my 34th birthday and it was the worst mistake and biggest waste of money. Whatever you do don't waste your money here if you don't have to, I promise you it's not worth it! Any positive reviews just come from employees or friends of employees because there's no Way someone had a good experience here.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Literally we came in and the tv was on the disney channel. The microwave was obviously used, there are stains on the bed, a piece of gum on the chair in addition to... more stains. The shower is unusable as theres unknown powder all over the bottom. Every wall, door has scratches all over it and need new paint. I would've rather slept in the car that I've been in for the last 3 days as we're driving through... Which I didn't know tell we checked in that each dog is an additional 20$. Would rank it negative if I could...

Clerk was not clear on which door was closest to our room. I had to check multiple doors to locate it. No phone in room. No information about the hotel or the TV. Bathtub floor was very uneven. On the plus side, the room was very clean and comfortable.

  • 1/5 Rebecca L. 1 year ago on Google
If I could give negative stars, I would. The room itself was a little sketchy with something growing on the wall, the ceiling was pealing in the corner and was breaking away along the exterior wall. The tub had serious rust stains, and the phone didn't work. That's relevant because I needed to call the front desk when I woke up and found that my car had been broken into. I had to call on my phone and the front desk just asked what room I was in. They didn't even apologize that this crime had been committed, didn't offer to send someone to clean up the glass, call the cops, anything. And when I checked out they didn't say anything. I received more sympathy from the cops (just filed a report, they didn't send anyone out) and the glass repair company Safelite. They apologized that this had happened and helped me find a repair location that can get me in tomorrow in a different state. Quality Inn isn't quality at all. They don't care about your stay at all.

Decided to pay more for a decent room, was disappointed. The hotel is split into multiple buildings which means you may have to exit the hotel and walk around outside to reach the lobby. The rooms are worse for wear, but you can tell from the finishes especially in the bathroom that they used to be nice. Front desk staff left something to be desired, at least overnight. No complementary breakfast, the nearby Dennys is pretty good despite how this hotel might help set your expectations for the area. At the price, just get a motel. You’ll get a similar experience.

We were in town for a quick trip, looking for something close and cheap. We walked into our room and it had not been cleaned. It was filthy. There were towels all over, opened containers, cigarettes, and bed was not made. We walked right out and did not stay at the hotel. Do not recommend.

Cute place to stay. There is a small swimming pool and gym, but not only open, depends on the season. Not far from the airport. Any questions better ask by call at Customer service. There are nice greens around the hotel. That's why there is amazing smell of flowers and greens 🌺🌺🌺 outside 👍

We were initially suppose to stay at a different hotel but had a terrible experience, and this was really the only hotel in the area that was available that same night. Front desk guys were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. We were very pleased with our room. The only thing is the fridge had leaked on the floor which was very minor compared to the what we experienced in the 10 minutes we were at the other hotel!

Please dont go with the photos posted. We had this hotel booked though Hotwire . We were looking stay with breakfast. Checkin was easy, but the room facilities were too old. Bed was good, bathroom old with closet seat really bad . For breakfast they only has bread , jam, butter and coffee. When check for milk they mentioned that it's not avay. Very disappointed stay .old facility

Non smoking room smelled strong of cigarette smoke. Was so strong that the t- shirt I slept in reaked of it when I pulled it out of my suitcase today to wash it. Carpet was absolutely disgusting, bottom of my socks were black. Toilet was so loose it slammed into the wall if you sat on it. Toilet seat was nasty.Very thin walls, can clearly hear everything in your neighbors room.Room doors slam close. Very dirty and run down

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any choice hotel property. I reserved 5 rooms, all of them had rust in the shower. 1 room had duct tape holding together a broken window. There was massive cosmetic damage to the property upon entry. The hotel staff was rude. The quality of each room not only had rusty tubs, but also cracks in the shower and sink, as well as sticky bathroom floors. I was wearing a brand new pair of socks only to have them ruined after 10 minutes of walking on the carpet. I have brought my concerns to corporate and the ownership still didnt help make the issues I encountered any better. They never offered to change my room or offer to discount my room. I had to demand a discount and when they agreed they still tried to charge me tax on each room. The paint on the ceiling was coming off as well as there was a bug on the wall that was seem to have free room and board. I would not recommend anyone stay at this property even if its on a whim or short notice as its not worth the money, unless you want your card charged more than 3 times without any valid explanation as to why.

This “hotel” was super scary, don’t stay here. Only one light worked in our room, and when I went to the front desk they told me they had no light bulb replacements. Then, when we tried to turn on the TV, we realized the remote didn’t have any batteries. My husband went to the front desk with me this time and to our surprise they don’t have any batteries either. We decided to not make a big deal out of it and drove down the street to the gas station and bought batteries and two light bulbs. After we returned, we realized the remote in our room wasn’t even the same brand as the television itself… so buying batteries did nothing. So weird!!! The TV only had ONE button on it and no volume or channel control, so we were blaring Animal Planet for most of our stay. To top it all off, our blankets and sheets had a gross musty smell and had green stains on them, so we went to Walmart and bought our own blankets to sleep with. So disappointed and quite shocked we didn’t get lice or bed bugs! The whole point of my review it to tell you to not make my same mistake! Just spend the extra money on an Airbnb or nice hotel because if we’re being honest this is 100% a motel, and a very poorly ran one at that!

The hotel lost my reservation through booking.com I came a day early and I reserved the room for even another extra night . I get to the hotel and upon waking up there was no free hot breakfast or meal part (part of what I expect from any hotel) definitely when they claim to feed you a free hot breakfast. The desk Clark was very rude to me he refused to do his job and assist me in getting my issues fixed I had to raise a big scene to make him do his job even . My room condition was unexceptable too. There is a huge crack in my bathroom sink the bathtub was filthy and my room smelled very odd my bed is broke down and sunk in too. Definitely will not be staying with choice hotel name brand anymore if this is how a customer is treated . I travel tons and needles to say I regret spending my hard earned money at this hotel for 3 nights if I would have known how bad my experience would have been I would of rented at a hotel chain I’m more familiar with. Please avoid this hotel at all coasts
