The rooms were decorated fantastically, the lobby and bar area is very fun, and the drinks were great too. Our problem was the room window looked down into an alleyway/hallway where staff were stacking glasses and dishes until 1am on a Sunday morning. Then, staff were out there at 6am, clinking away again getting ready for breakfast service. We didn't get much sleep at all and honestly left what was supposed to be a mini stay-cation more exhausted than before. If you get one of these rooms, you'll know it quickly, I would highly suggest asking to be moved if there's an available room. I've stayed in quieter rooms near airports and for the price of this room would not go back unless attending an event here.

We chose cross roads because it is a boutique hotel away from power and light and all the loud party hotels but still in a cool area of town. Boy were we wrong. As moms trying to get away for a relaxing weekend it was an awful choice of a hotel. It was insanely loud all night. Giant parties, People running up and down the hotel hallways, falling and dropping things in front of our hotel door until 4 am. I’m not kidding when I say I maybe slept 3 hours all night. Definitely not a relaxing get away hotel. Maybe a great hotel for young kids looking to have a good time. To top it all off for the $500 we paid for a room for one night, the air conditioner was broken and hummed/buzzed outside our room ALL night. Something must have also been wrong with the air conditioner in the actual room as well because it was extremely humid to the point where we slept with no blankets. The beds don’t have fitted sheets which I found extremely odd and uncomfortable. At the end of our stay I left behind a sweater. I called the hotel to let them know right away and to tell them I was in a hurry and would be back to grab it after breakfast. When I got back to get it an hour and a half later they didn’t have it ready down stairs like I asked and sent me up myself to meet house keeling to retrieve the sweater, which is ridiculous customer service. All in all I will never stay at this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend it for adults looking for a relaxing weekend away.

First hotel review I’ve ever written but feel compelled to after my stay here. From start to finish the hotel exceeded my expectations of hotel hospitality. The accommodating staff at the front desk were above and beyond staff at way overpriced “luxury” hotels. The lobby and rooftop bars were perfect and the room was exceptional. Great shower pressure and an A/c that got down to 62 (I’m from Texas, I need cold air). Would recommend to anyone wanting a fabulous one off hotel.

THE SHOWER!! I rarely stop and take time to submit a review, but this property was worthy of a mention. The lobby area and overall layout of the hotel is a bit quirky, but the rooms are very clean & modern. The shower may be one of the best showers I've had at a hotel and I travel frequently. HOT and amazing pressure. If you travel for business, definitely a great experience.

A hotel that truly compliments the character of the city, a hotel staff that shows that hospitality is an action and not just an industry, and amenities that make you want to stay near. First, the staff. From the stylish gentleman that checks you in, to the team that tries to make your stay just a step better when expectations have already been exceeded, to the professionals at the bar that compliment your need for adventure by suggesting meals and drinks you may not have chosen initially, the staff is above the rest. The amenities include stylish rooms that are cool to the comfort and not felt forced by social media trends. The bar is a very popular place to network during the day, and mingle in the evening. The rooftop bar at night is an excellent spot to view the beauty that is Kansas City at night, while it also allows you to ingest the sounds of the neighboring attractions from coffee shops to noodle bars. This hotel appeals to the business professional better than most hotels. I recommend it highly!! To the staff reading this, thank you so much for your hard work and hospitality. You make me want to come back to Kansas City.

One of the coolest hotels we have ever stayed at. Love the modern industrial grand loft style design and decor. GREAT staff, excellent customer service, beautiful suites (highly recommend Vault suite) rooftop bar has gorgeous view's. Fine dining on site great time to dress up and enjoy! Joslyn, the hostess is awesome unforgettable person and the manager that runs the restaurant is outstanding. We had a wonderful time but if you are looking for a "quiet hotel" this is not for you, high energy party environment.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The location was easy to get to and, even though it was pretty cold the weekend we were there, the area was walkable enough. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We appreciated the decor, too. Check in was easy and we loved how pet friendly the hotel is. It made bringing our dog along way easier than it ever has been at other "pet-friendly" hotels. The valet was very helpful and we got our vehicle quickly each time we needed it. Drinks and food at XR were good and service from the front desk was great from check in to check out. We'd definitely stay here again if we were in the KC area.

Great location, lots of restaurants within walking distance and night life. The staff was wonderful for check-in, friendly, welcoming, and ready to make your stay special. The rooms are a good size, very clean, cozy bed, hot shower, good lighting in the bathroom. The bar area is nice for a cocktail with a good selection of alcohol and the bartenders will make mocktails! Overall loved our stay and will be staying again

Solid choice in the crossroads area. Pros are an industrial and rustic vibe that blends old and new together very nicely. They have a very lively bar available and plenty of food options. The service is top notch and they will do what they can to accommodate you during your stay. Some little cons however include not having self parking for customers. You'll need to pay $30 a night plus tip unless you are able to find street parking nearby. Also, no microwave available for guests and you need to call and request anytime you want ice. There is in room dining available which is a plus and some snacks and drinks are in each room. It's walking distance from coffee and food which we took advantage of!

We really enjoyed our stay here!! Not only is this hotel beautifully designed and well furnished but we love all the old details and the exposed brick throughout! You kinda feel as though you're in Chicago or New York! We will be back when the rooftop restaurant is open to not only enjoy the food but the views as well!!

My husband and I went on a weekend trip to Kansas City, MO and this hotel caught my eye as I was searching for somewhere to stay. Not only was it just a 3-10 minute walk from every location we wanted to visit, but the hotel itself was AMAZING! Starting with check-in. I previously looked for parking options and knew we wanted to pay for parking and so we had a pleasant experience with the valet crew. We walked into the hotel and the atmosphere was so welcoming, I'm obsessed with everything the hotel had to offer and the modern/minimalistic theme. I booked a King Atrium guest room off of Expedia and when we checked in we were upgraded to the Deluxe King suite at no extra charge. The room was PERFECT in every way. We were obsessedwuth the black/white layout, the bathroom was clean and we loved the shower. *currently trying to find the link to the wallpaper for our house* The mattress was nice and we could see out to our vehicle through the windows. Also that mini bar was filled with goodies! I loved that there were options to purchase items from in the room that were made locally. On Sunday we woke up bright and early to eat breakfast, we are both early birds. First ones there and we could tell the workers were setting everything up for a big Brunch crowd. We ordered our food and it came out extremely quick, everything was delicious and my Multigrain bowl actually inspired me to start eating that at home. Checking out was a breeze, the staff was so friendly and helpful with questions we had about local businesses. I highly recommend this place and we wish every hotel was as well put together as Crossroads.

The best place to stay in KC. Clean and comfortable. Free snacks in your room. The downstairs bar crafts great cocktails. The restaurant there is incredible.

We booked Crossroads Hotel in September 2023 as our “home base” for our wedding weekend, although our venue was at a different location. After talking with the Crossroads team, specifically Sable, we also booked spaces at Crossroads Hotel for our bridal party getting-ready venue, pre-ceremony cocktail reception, and post-wedding brunch spot. These turned out to be our favorite parts of our wedding weekend! Sable and Tess made our planning experience SO easy and fun. The simultaneously industrial and cozy feel of the spaces they have to offer made it an idyllic spot to host our closest family and friends. Our guests had great experiences staying here, and so did we. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the team made us feel special and welcome the whole weekend. There is always food and drink available when some guests wanted to grab an impromptu beer or bite together. Many of our guests came from far away, and the communal spaces and bar with late hours meant we got to spend more time with these special people. The bridal party got ready in the private dining room, and this was a major wow-factor for us. Plenty of space for our make-up artists and hair stylists to set up, for us to steam dresses, for us to just sit around and recover from the night before. Private but spacious. Definitely a fun space to spend wedding morning. We reserved the rooftop, Percheron, with some self-serve beverages before the wedding party headed to our venue. The staff made us feel at home and made sure we were taken care of. It was a beautiful day, and our photographer was able to capture so many fun moments. We are thrilled we booked Percheron a second time for our post-wedding brunch. Another beautiful day for us to say goodbye to our closest friends and family and to Kansas City. Crossroads Hotel is now our favorite place to stay in Kansas City and will always have our highest recommendation, and our business when we’re in town!

Stayed for 4 days. Great location. Walking distance to Union Station and The Crown Plaza. The hotel itself is unique, nice rooms aesthetically...but lacking in amenities (no coffee maker or microwave in room...went and got my own), no hot tub or pool. Parking is a total nightmare! But the valets and staff do what they can to make it worthwhile. Service is excellent thus the 4 stars...amenities are a 3...or less.

Incredible!! Simply incredible. I had the best breakfast burrito Ive ever had, and the most distinguished and flavorful French toast I've ever had. Beautiful place. Awesome bar and aesthetic. I will definitely be back!

Stayed here with two friends for the Beyonce concert. We were blown away by the kindness of the staff - especially those at the front desk. One person in particular, Stephanie, was an absolute angel. Would absolutely stay here again. If you’re going to splurge on a nice hotel in KC - this is the place. (And to Stephanie in particular - thank you for being so wonderful. I wish there were more people like you in this world - especially in the hospitality industry. Your kindness meant the world to us!!)

From the valet, to the front desk, to the bar service- everything was top notch. The renovation of the old building was beautiful. They did a fantastic job maintaining the original charm of the building while adding industrial elements. The furniture was unique, high quality, and extremely comfortable. Even the shower was fantastic! Every element of the room and hotel was so well thought out. The rooftop bar was phenomenal. Though we didn’t eat in the restaurant, we ordered apps at the bar and they were *chefs kiss*! We will be saying there in the future for sure.

We were greeted with amazing customer service from Talia. The room was fantastic, the bar service was fun and energetic, and Lazia was phenomenal. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel and story about its brewery history before the hotel was built. Clean rooms, nice atmosphere including lobby bar area. In easy walking distance to multiple restaurants.

Wonderful hotel, probably the best I’ve stayed at in KC! The room was spacious and homey, it truly didn’t feel like we were in a hotel room at all. The shower pressure was amazing and bathrooms had plenty of room. Beds were very comfortable as well. My only con is the lack of bellhop carts when checking out on a Sunday, but staff did a good job helping us get everything loaded.

This is a gem of a hotel, very modern and screams KC. The room was amazing and the little touches were the cherry on top. Most importantly the beds were comfortable and pillows just right (if you're over a certain age you know what I'm talking about). The only issue we ran into was they weren't serving breakfast until 9am the day we stayed. There is a $30 fee for Valet parking, but pretty much worth it with lack of public parking.

Spent one night here while passing through town and it was great. Rooms are well appointed and spacious. The rooftop bar is a good spot for some nice cocktails with a view. All the staff was friendly and the woof package included a bed and bowls for our dog as well as some treats. Pricy hotel but amenities I would expect at that price point.

Normal checkout is noon. Awesome location and the rooms are amazing as well. On premise bars and attached restaurant are terrific. Can’t say enough positive things. The couple we traveled with also enjoyed their room and had all positive things to say. Well done Crossroads Hotel.

I booked a room at the crossroads. It was suggested by another business just down the street as I was attending small conference with them. I was given a discount code, called the front desk two weeks before, and because I had booked earlier, I was not able to apply the code. This was difficult to swallow. As a traveler, I would be able to change my reservations at other hotels with no issues. I lost hot water in the shower second day. Cold showers are horrible, heard others in my group state the same things. There was a concert Thursday night and was loud. From the roof I could hear it all the way down on the second floor. Was thankful it stopped early in the night. Overall, The Crossroads, place is nice and unique. Others and I, brought to your hotel from another business with a discount and Crossroads did not honor it, that's unfortunate!

This is truly the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I stay in hotels about 30 nights a year. I came across this place by accident…My flight out of MCI was cancelled, and so I had to quickly find another hotel on a Friday night. I was truly blown away. The decor, the cleanliness and the staff, truly out of this world. Half the money of many 4-star hotels, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’m highly critical when it comes to accommodations, and there’s nothing about this room that could of been better. Every last detail cared for, from the clean vents, to the freshly rolled bath mat and everything in between. Just…wow. I will tell you however, the noise level is intense. Because it is such an amazing place, everyone under 30 wants to be there, and drinks…a lot. So, it was difficult to get to sleep, and there were plenty of undesirables late in the evening outside and around the entrance, but hardly anything the hotel could do about that. I will absolutely stay here each time I return, and I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to stay at Marriott hotels in other cities, now that I’ve stayed here. If you’re on business however, do be aware that it’s extremely noisy.

The Crossroads Hotel is a completely unique and absolutely gorgeous hotel. It is a beautiful tribute to the building's own history and to Kansas City itself, and is well worth a visit regardless of whether or not you’re spending the night - but you certainly won't regret it if you do! Personally, I stayed at The Crossroads Hotel on my wedding night, and my now-husband utilized the hotel as a getting-ready suite for his groomsmen the day of. We also used the hotel for our hotel block and rehearsal dinner venue. It was the perfect place to get ready at/in and to have as the backdrop for some fabulous photos. The staff are all very professional and accommodating - from the valet(s) to the front desk and everyone in between. We made several requests that were all accommodated graciously, our guests were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the entire building. The room itself, a vault suit, was stunning. We had a fabulous view of Kansas City on our wedding night, and the guys were able to comfortably accommodate 10 people to get dressed in and have drinks in the morning/afternoon. It was very clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into making the room ready for us; both in the morning and then again at night. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

This is our second time to stay at this hotel and my husband and I just can’t say enough great things about it! We love the style and architecture and it’s always clean and inviting. But more importantly, we LOVE the staff! Every single member is pleasant and welcoming. The bartenders are amazing, always staying so calm no matter how busy they get. We had impeccable service from bartender Anna, who despite being slammed with service bar tickets made it a point to attend to our needs too, never missing a beat. And to top it all off there’s an egg sandwich for breakfast that makes my mouth water just thinking about it!! Highly recommend staying here!

I've been so impressed by this place thus far. Tamika at the front desk has been so kind and helpful from chatting over the phone to actual check-in. We are staying here for my wife's birthday, and Tamika made sure to make our first impression of Crossroads a great one. Truly some of the best customer service I've ever experienced! P.S.-I don't typically write many reviews that's how impressed I am.

We chose the Crossroads hotel for our recent staycation and are so glad we did. Everything about it was awesome, from the check in process (shout out to Kelly,) to the well-appointed room and the lively bar. We couldn't have had a better stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do, and just a few blocks from the streetcar. We liked that it isn't part of a big chain. The building is beautifully renovated. We would highly recommend the Crossroads Hotel for anyone looking for an outstanding stay in Kansas City.

This was our first stay here and we had an amazing experience! Loved the industrial and modern feel of the building, rooms, lobby and bar. Comfortable rooms. Friendly, hospitable staff. Tamika was amazing. -- guided us to local points of interest, dining, and treated me with a special birthday gift. Will definitely stay again.

friendly, which is hard to find these days. The rooms are spectacular! They beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, with a walk-in shower! The food they serve here is also super good! They have breakfast was delicious and the ladies running the bar were also super friendly and efficient! Kelly (not sure if I spelt that correctly) and Tamika at the Front Desk were so very sweet! We had a little trouble with our room and Tamika was very nice to solve it. She made sure we were comfortable and asked us how we like it, which we LOVE it. This is hands down the best place we've ever been! We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend the Crossroads!
